Took the head off my 67 Mustang to them. I had broken off several bolts in the head while trying to remove my old exhaust manifold. Since it was the original head, it needed other work. They resurfaced and cleaned it. They also did a valve job and hardened the valve seats. Of course they also took care of the bolts I had broken off.I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. There were a couple of issues that could use improvement. First they never actually called me with an estimate for all the work that was needed. They just did it and it was twice what we had discussed as a rough estimate. Second is the building is actually a bit hard to determine. It is off a main road down a gravel drive. All in all they did do great work and the car runs much better. Check out the attached pictures.

Avoid Eagle.TL;DR - They tried twice to rebuild my cylinder head. The first time with valve spring slap (they said they mixed up springs) and the second time with no compression on #2 (intake valve seat machined improperly). Had spent thousands with them over the years on work for various other cars. Never again.-- full account --Brought them my cylinder head for repair of a set of stripped threads in the water neck. They inspected and recommended a full rebuild while the head was off. Having sent them work for years, I trusted their recommendation and had them proceed.Got it back the first time and after install had terrible valve-train noise. Pulled the head and took it back, and they admitted to mixing up the inner/outer valve springs (they are different sizes). They took a few weeks and re-rebuilt the head.Got it back the second time and after install it ran very poorly. Awful idle. Low power. Running hot. Fought it off and on for a few months, then parked the car out of frustration. Didn’t think to check compression, but I should have. When I did check compression, I discovered 150/75/150/150 - had a leak from the #2 intake valve. After pulling and installing the head twice myself due to Eagle’s errors, I decided for the third attempt I would send it elsewhere. The specialist machine shop I sent the cylinder head to reported that the #2 intake valve seat was machined incredibly badly, which was the source of my leak. In addition, they reported that a number of my valve shims showed significant wear and needed to be replaced. Eagle did a bad job of the machine work, and cut corners on the shims. My machine work has gone to Eagle for years. Never again.

I have taken several heads over that had to be reworked, resurfaced, re-welded and then resurfaced, along with valve and valve guides replaced. and i have never had any issues with the quality of their work or their professionalism. Even took one back to double check a problem i was having and they pressure checked it right away at no charge. Just cant ask for any better service.
