“Great location, friendly staff and clean. My only issue is that the store is often closed during the posted open hours. This is the 2nd time in one month I've pulled up to an empty parking lot and a handwritten sign stating they closed early. Maybe its a staffing issue...”

“After the incident last week at the 155 W Athens St, Winder store, I needed a reminder to why I love shopping at my local DG. Aris is always a pleasure! He always greets you with a smile and is ready to help with anything. That's why his store is my favorite to shop and occasionally an item may be out do I go to a different store but this store is my favorite! Always clean and organized and the welcoming environment makes me go back week after week. Thank you Aris for reminding me not all stores have wonderful managers like you! They should make sure to keep you around as long as they can! Thank you for being so awesome!”

“I feel grateful yet spoiled to have a Dollar Tree so close to my house. Very convenient to get beauty products, some food/snacks, school supplies, etc. While the store could be better run, I’m not sure it matters with these prices for at least decent quality items.”
“Always friendly service, but merchandising is bad. Store I'd messy and shelves are cluttered. Wife asked for help and male associate said he didn't know and went back to working without another thought. Older lady walked back with wife and was very helpful.”

“AWESOME!! This is, BY FAR, the cleanest, nicest, most well run, and well staffed Dollar Tree in all of northeast Georgia and lower SC. Cheryl and Jeremy at this location are SUPER friendly and helpful in a way you just don't come across many places that aren't named Chick-fil-a. They went out of their way to help me find some items my son and I were searching for, and I'm very thankful for their excellent customer service! I am in various dollar stores nearly every day, all over the NE Metro Atlanta area. TRUST ME; you will find none better than the Winder, GA Dollar Tree! I'll be back next Thursday for another visit! ?”
“Love getting snacks here parking is a little annoying but besides that never had an issue with this store and no it’s not “dirty” like outers have said and complaining about buy one get one at a $1 store come on”

“This was my first visit to a Dollar General store & I was pleasantly surprised?They are open late, until 10pm & stocked with so many items? I was impressed by the selection of food items, household goods, decor, clothing & personal care products! You could buy an entire outfit, from shoes to shirts & undergarments? They had everything you need to make a meal or last minute items that you don't want to run all the way to the grocery store to get, minus fresh fruit/veg. Customer service & prices were great too! They even have an app to download for extra savings??”
“Only one person working as per usual. However, the one employee was helpful and patiently assisted each customer. BUT DG needs to do better! Having worked in retail it's clear that the majority of the problems are directly related to arbitrary decisions made by upper management and executives.”
“In my haste, I accidentally hit "highly dissatisfied" on check out. Just wanted to mention the lady working the register just now at approximately 12:05 pm on Thurs May 30th was great. It was an accidental button push as she was AWESOME. I didn't want it to negatively affect her employee review or something , so I thought I would give her a shout out! If she is not a manager (she may be), she should be! Very kind and customer oriented.”

He was also friendly and asked if we found everything we were looking for, and although our coupons didn't scan the first time, he worked hard to make sure we got our discount. “Maci was amazing today. She welcomes with you her bright smile and happy spirit instantly cheers you up. I let her Manager Saxon who was also great. I am disabled and Maci offered to help me with my items. She went above beyond when I came back to buy more stuff. She to let sit and quickly charge my phone. And she was giving a happy smile sticker and encouraging to donate school supplies for the military if we could. I donated in her honor. Keep up the great work my dear!!! God Bless you!”

“I moved here almost 3 years ago and I'm technically in the boonies, but Dollar General has milk, bread, butter, snacks, sandwich, meat, then everything else you need, including toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies. There really a lifesaver for me keeping me from having to go into Winder or Braselton when I run out of one thing or just want some snacks.Staff here Works there, but off, keeping inventory is daunting they always have new stuff coming in, check out, is easy with self check out. I often come in and I'm out in less than two minutes. Again, the staff is always there to help and they have energy drinks and coffee right there by the front door in the fridge on the right along with ice cream and other snacks people wanna run into and get out quick. Right behind the BP always crowded... OK 4 to 5 cars... But they've always been there for me. Highly recommend.!!!”
