I went here 07/24 to send off a piece of equipment for repair. Once I returned home I realize my error and the equipment no longer needed to be sent out for repair. (Saving me 200.00). I immediately returned to the post office and explained my situation. Crystal G the clerk informed me I would not be able to retrieve the equipment without the manager signing off. She said I needed to come in the next morning. I returned the following morning 07/25. I was informed the equipment has been shipped off despite the agreement and conversation the previous day. I asked to speak with the manager. I was sternly greeted by Yolanda W. There was an instant tension on her behalf. I explained my situation to her. Ms. Williams said well it’s nothing I can do it’s gone now. I asked her as management are you sure there is nothing you can do… Ms. Williams became belligerent, creating a negative atmosphere. I explained to Ms. Williams, I am an educator and with today being our first day back, I asked to come in late. Mrs. Williams replied don’t tell me what you do and where you work. I asked Mrs. Williams for her name as well as the name of her employee so I could make a complaint. Mr. Williams ( the manager) completely turned her back and walked away without any acknowledgement of my question.

The absolute WORSE, even the manager is ghetto. Close the location down and start over fresh. They do NOT want to work useless.

Why is it closed during business hours so often? I came at 4:30 and the doors are locked and no one is in there. There’s no note on the door to say that it’s closed or giving an explanation and I’ve seen quite a few people come behind me only to discover that they can’t take care of their business either.

I wish I could give 0 stars Only 1 because I walked in & walked straight to the counter Only to find the 2 young ladies on their phones on social media...the younger female looking like she just woke up with a head scarf & jogging pants. The Post office should be ashmed of themselves letting this type of ghetto unprofessional behavior serve in a historic neighborhood. This young lady pictured below has to be 1 of the nastiest, rudest, most unprofessional person I have ever encountered. Had I read the reviews before coming I definitely wouldnt have stopped In. USPS you really need to fire & hire more respectable, knowledgeable workers. Pay the people & get this ghetto heffa out our Post Office!

Worst service ever. This clerk often berates customers, is not helpful, will be abrasive and refuse service when asked for simple request. Refuses to put mail on hold and shows a nasty attitude to everyone in the community. Ms. Hayes in the pink shirt refused to be helpful nor indicate why mail couldn’t be held. It’s a federal disruption and unfair to the citizens of west end.

I cannot believe I am writing this, but I've been on line for 27 minutes waiting to find out why a package with a pre-paid return lable is STILL not scanned into the system for delivery back to the seller. I dropped it at the post office Monday. Today is Friday. I'm concerned because it's jewelry and I've already had packages stolen from this office: two jade bangles--the tracking showed they were out for delivery, but they never arrived; a sweater that was supposedly "delivered" on Dec. 24 last year--it was a gift that never arrived; and a replacement debit card that was stolen and used by a post office employee. The woman was such an IDIOT, she paid for the items using my card and HER name--she purchaed the items online. I wrote up the incident, made copies, and met with the manager because I suspected it was an employee and I was told the woman DID work there but NOTHING WAS DONE ABOUT IT!!! I was told I could press charges. I'm ready.

Something seriously needs to happen to this location. Who’s over this location & who’s allowing these rude people to work in the front? Because they need to be fired also. You definitely got to have tough skin coming in this location & it shouldn’t even be like that. What happen to customer service? Oh I forgot, we are in the hood. Which shouldn’t be an excuse but that’s the way society is today. Now normally, I’d make a person want to quit they job, being rude to me but today, I just laughed it off, because I got stuff to lose. The lady at the front desk is rude. Always saying “is it 5 o‘clock yet” as if she didn’t sign up for this job. Always complaining. Y’all better do something about this location before somebody else does it. Kindness is free, don’t ever forget it! If I could post without giving them a star, I would, because they absolutely deserve NUN!

I've been a PO box owner at this location for almost an entire year. This has been the ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE.Every single employee at this location has a stank attitude mind you your old enough to be my grandmother. I didn't force you to take this job... The only employee that has been a great help was the light skinned female post master. Besides that ONE positive experience I've had to report this post office on more than one occasion.I've encountered shouting matches, employees talking down to the public, making old people feel like a burden, trying to check me as a customer. But last time I checked your a FEDERAL EMPLOYEE DO YOUR JOB?!!!!Another thing you choose to close this location MID DAY for no reason no sign no nothing. Since when can you close the post office before the advertised hours? This isn't a once in a blue situation you close this location CONSTANTLY!!!!!Needless to say ILL NEVER USE THIS POST OFFICE AGAIN AND OR PAY FOR A PO BOX FROM USPS.I'm calling to report this office again and take my business to UPS.Today was insane you had older people in our community lost and confused as to why the post office is CLOSED AGAIN MID DAY.YOU WOULD NEVER ACT LIKE THIS IN A MORE AFFLUENT COMMUNITY. SHAME ON YOU FOR TREATING THE HISTORIC WEST END LIKE THIS!!!!

This post office CANNOT be trusted with delivering mail. I'm finding my mail already opened before I even open it! Seriously, this is the WORST post office I've ever had touch my mail. Never have I had this type of issue until I met the West End post office! This post office needs to be turned upside down and shook to get the rats out... An investigation needs to be in order at this location pronto!!!

Tried to resolve mail delivery issues. The Manager indicated that the person handling the delivery is the problem. She called and then advised me to make a change of address and submit to the post Office. Therefore, she is indicating that I should change delivery for a change that doesn't exist! The mailbox is still there! This location needs to be investigated ?

Deserves absolutely no stars. The location is populated with ghetto hoodrat individuals exhibiting unsatisfactory behavior, particularly one named ASHLEY. You call to ask a question and they holler at you or hang up the phone because you inquire about a a package their office failed to deliver.The postal man feigns an inability to deliver packages and opts for unnecessary redelivery scheduling instead of utilizing available mailboxes or parcel lockers. Subsequent attempts to reschedule are met with claims of nonexistent redelivery confirmation, despite the evident connection to the USPS system. Astonishingly, ASHLEY asserted that a service request initiated through USPS is unrelated to the West End office, displaying not only rudeness but also a lack of understanding. She's clearly an imbecile so not sure how she is the manager she claimed to be. A thorough overhaul in staffing at this post office seems imperative.
