In all my years of living in Atlanta, I’ve never had an issue getting mail until I moved to this area, getting my mail delivered from this post office. My packages get delivered to the wrong mailbox & some mail doesn’t get delivered at all. & I have to hope and pray I find the neighbor that got it, & then that they’re honest about getting it & hand it over to me. I had to have the mailman meet me at my apt at least 3 times in the last year for him to find which mailbox he put a misdelivered package in, cause he didn’t put it mine. Then if/when I catch the mailman/lady to inquire about why something in my informed delivery that didn’t get delivered on the day it said it would, it’s always the same “lie” about it’s either a delay in the mail & to wait 7-10 days, or informed delivery shows what’s actually going to be delivered within 3-5 days. All these lies because they don’t want to say they misdelivered my mail. They’ve lost refund checks from businesses that they never delivered, had to search around the neighborhood for important PR packages, & sentimental mail from family several times in just the last year alone. It’s ridiculous - I just don’t understand it. Now I have to pay out extra money for a PO Box when I have a free mailbox. I don’t even want my PO Box here, I’d rather get it at the post office on Crown.

Been several days and still have not received my certified mail. No note is being left on my door or mailbox. When I go to the hapeville usps they have no answer as to what is going on. They took my name and number down and was supposed to call me to update me on the status/whereabout of my mail but never got back to me. Worst service I have ever experienced
Update: This was the worst service I have ever received. The post office lost my mail and have not been able to retrieve it. This was certified mail so it should not have been left anywhere or misplaced. Extremely disappointed in the USPS service. I would never recommend USPS to anyone!

I made an appointment for passport services a week in advance. I went to my appointment, no clear signs of what to do (it was my first time) so I made the line. There were 5 customers in line and one being assisted. Finally, I get my turn. I walk up and let her know that I'm there for passport services. She stated that that ALL appointments for passport services were cancelled. She hands me a piece of paper with the address of the closest USPS that has passport services. I read it and it is all the way in Atlanta. That's a 45-60 minute drive from where I was with traffic. I get to the location and have a 2 hour wait because I was considered a walk-in.

I just have to say that the lady with the red hair is so sweet. She's always happy and has a smile on her face. I came when she was locking up for lunch and she still made time to help me and did it with a big smile on her face. This post office is definitely blessed to have her as an employee.

Sent a very expensive item from California via priority mail that was supposed to be delivered on the 10th and it's now the 20th and it still has not been delivered and there are no updates. Tried calling but no answer this is ridiculous! I've sent thousands of items and this is the only place that has ever lost one but according to the other reviews this is a very often occurrence here

Helpful but unpleasant. It's obvious they're not enjoying what there doing. There should be training on how to greet your customers.Without us there would be no you!

Every time I have come here in the past few months, the same woman is working at the counter and she is so knowledgeable, helpful, expedient, and pleasant. I will drive out of my way to come to this post office over any other one in Atlanta.

Went there at 1230pm on a Wednesday. It was closed. Waited till 0100pm still closed. They are supposed to be open 9 to 5.

I was at the hapeville postal office on central avenue Saturday 30,2024 about 9:00.pm I took a money order my dad had in his house he pass away I call the 1800 number for postal office about it they told to take it to that office I got there to ask questions the worker with the long nail young lady was so rude she took the money order did not explain she refused to give me her name I ask to speak to her supervisor she was a rude too l ask the young lady her name againShe refuse and call the postal police tell me he would give me her name the officer was very helpful he got a number where I compassion could call about the money order it was for a 1000 dollars they did not take my name or number so I never know what happened to it no compassion

Great service today from the staff. I had an issue with my parcel locker being stuck. I went in person to see if I could get it resolved which they did in a timely manner. They actually made me feel like they wanted to help me as soon as I came inside. Thankful for Mr. Ed Johnson for bringing my package that was stuck in the locker to my doorstep personally after fixing the issue. Thank you!

A package was supposed to arrive within 1-2 days and has been sitting at this facility for a whole day and won’t be available for delivery for another two days. It’s all their fault because it should have come out for delivery today. The package is a custom made garment for a special ceremony and now I won’t be able to attend. Shame on you
