The UPS store is in the Hotel and not in the abandoned mall.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. This is NOT a real UPS store - it is a locked UPS Access Point within the Renaissance Hotel. You have to pay to park (minimum of $10 for even a few minutes) - total ripoff if you are trying to run in and out. Disgraceful in every way.

STORE NOT OPENED AS ADVERTISED ONLINE OR STOREFRONT DOOR!!
YOU MUST PAY TO PICK UP PACKAGE! This is a UPS “Access Point” Store not managed or owned by UPS.
UPS cannot help with packages delivered to this store in any way.
I’m a guest at The Renaissance Atlanta Waverly Hotel and had a team shirt delivered to this location for a game. Store was not opened the hours as advertised online 8:30-4pm or as shown on their storefront door 9-3pm. Missed wearing matching FIFA shirt with my family.
I read someone else complained 2 months ago about hours advertised not matching their actual store hours. Owners responded that they would fix the issue but obviously nothing has been corrected.
I was very lucky the ladies at the hotel front desk were so helpful in retrieving my package since my flight was first thing in morning.

We needed a few services whilst attending The Atlanta Shoe Market and the team here at UPS has been incredibly helpful, prompt and resourceful.

Today I visited the UPS Store located inside the Renaissance Atlanta Waverly Hotel & Convention Center, and I couldn’t be more impressed! This was the second UPS Store in the area I have visited, and it’s clear that this location will be my go-to spot from now on.
I went there for notary services, and Shanell provided exceptional service. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and assisted me promptly. Despite the store being on the smaller side, it was spotless, welcoming, and well-organized, even with other customers present.
One of the standout features of this UPS Store is that both employees on staff are licensed notaries. This means that notary services are available anytime during operating hours, which is incredibly convenient and a major advantage over other UPS Stores in the area that only offer these services during specific, unspecified hours.
It’s worth noting that any negative reviews you might come across are outdated and do not reflect the current quality of this store. The staff here are fantastic—friendly, efficient, and genuinely helpful. This location deserves SO more attention, as it’s somewhat hidden inside the hotel, but it is definitely worth seeking out.
I highly recommend this UPS Store for all of your shipping needs and notary services. It’s now the only UPS location I’ll be using. A solid 10 out of 10!

So thankful that this store was in my hotel. There were a number of hiccups with my packages and they were unbelievably helpful and patient. All new staff but they were very knowledgeable and made me feel like a valued customer.

I was at the Jewelry show at the convention center. I had 2 crates to be shipped on Monday. I spoke to the gentleman at the UPS store Monday morning and he assured me they were open until 6 pm that evening. Those are also the posted hours. At 5.10 pm the store was locked and closed. This forced me to stay at the Waverly one more night at a cost of $180. I did not have time or a vehicle to go to a different store. The next morning I went to the store, the door was open but there was no employee. I eventually found her chatting with a security guard some distance away, I dropped the 2 crates off with prepaid shipping labels and was charged $240. as a drop off fee? This is a disgusting way to run a business. I had no option but to play by there rules and pay there excessive fees. This very poorly run business cost me an unexpected $420 plus a great deal of inconvenience. I would love to honestly talk to the owner but looking at the reviews here I expect a canned answer.

I left items at the hotel, completely my fault. The Loss Prevention took my items to the UPS Store for delivery back to me. I have called this place 13 times in the last 3 days. No answer and their voice mail is full. How do you operate a business by not answering phones or by having your VM full? Beyond frustrating...

$10 handling fee, in addition to sending your item, rude as hell counter person explains “at this location we gotta make a living.” And apparently that living is by ripping people off. So that all you need to know,
