I recently hosted my family reunion at this hotel and I must say it was an EXCELLENT experience! Not one complaint. My family really enjoyed the breakfast (thank you for offering TURKEY breakfast meat!!), the lake view is beautiful, of course the retail and lounge options surrounding the hotel, and all at a great price. Michele (Sales Director) was amazing. Thank you for a great experience!

The desk clerk made a simple shuttle schedule mistake. No worries. He apologized and all was good. However, the SHUTTLE driver had extreme attitude, thrusting the bus schedule into my face with attitude "Do you see it?!", and generally behaving unprofessionally, and disrespecting me. I took an Uber to avoid his nasty attitude. Look, if you don't like your job, it is best to leave instead of infecting others. Would I stay there again? No. That "man"'s behavior cannot be fixed.

I highly you DO NoT go to this hotel. The area is next to a nice shopping center, in the middle of disparity.
Indigency is extremely sad, especially in this heat or in snow. If I could afford to house all the ones living on the sides & out front, I would.
IHG website indicates there's this beautiful building set on a lake with a walkabout that doesn't exist, & a super deck that's an overlarge empty lot, no chairs tables, nada. But if you brave the place, lake facing exposes more disparities as the evening graces.
I thought I was in NY when I entered the elevators (yeah, that part) & "bam" the doors open to large carpet numbers, smack in your face, from the floor to the ceiling, maybe 3 feet from the elevator door, in the tackiest colors of retro blue, teal & lime. Why are hotels still choosing tacky over clean lines? The smell drove me back downstairs & ready to leave, but my guest said give it a try & they were sleepy.
The rooms are old, the moisture cut as we walked in, leaving us feeling sticky. The rooms are seemingly hard to clean, as there are black stains all over the floors (in the era of oxidized & pink sprays), with brown goo & hair up the walls.
As a longtime mbr i know HI's are the worse these days, & HIE's are even worse. But, I had to be near the city without being in the heart of it for a reason. And I have found a few unexpected gems in my time, so I periodically try.
Sadly, The footprint is huge. The tell, when the room is clean, is to leave lights and TV running / on in the room.
All the staff is engaging, polite, & welcoming. Their uniforms unfortunately match the Carpet almost to a T, and they still smile. That's a huge plus, so adding an extra star for them
The food service was maintained by sitting down w/ engaging conversations vs visibly verifying low to empty tray warmers, & suffocating pancake bag still try'n to push out polyps.. vs the normal medallion size. Yes very small. The 1st eggs looked dried, but were actually acceptable, 2nd batch were still frozen ? tables were not cared for, so back to the room to bathe the sticky off again & get out fast.
Off to next hotel.
How would I describe this hotel? The word is not listed. Do I say ghastly, no . . Maybe tactless or unreasonably sad.

The hotel is not bad for one night, but I feel that the carpets as well as the bathroom needed a little cleaning. The breakfast was very good!

Very nice rooms and great service. The nice little chef there in the morning cooking breakfast was so nice! The cleaning staff was impeccable, and the front desk was so warm in their greeting. Great place to stay.

We stayed here over Memorial Day weekend and it was a pleasant experience. The hotel room was clean and stocked with toiletries. Complimentary breakfast was served. It was good, they served gravy biscuits, omelets, sausage, cereal, and more! Location was also great, it’s on a lake and many shops like Publix, Target, and Dollar Tree are close by. We’ll def stay here again!!

They need to train employees better for the front desk. I got 3 different explanations from 3 different employees. Make sure to get a receipt so you can check it yourself.

Location is good with free shuttle to/from airport. Shuttle driver was friendly. The lady working the breakfast area was one of the nicest southern ladies ever. Rooms could use some upgrading. the carpet and bathroom tiles needed replacing.

One room I reserved had dirty carpet. It was embarrassing. I told the manager. Housekeeping at this location is not good. I hope they correct the dirty carpet.
Breakfast service was excellent.
Rooms: Rooms were ok, but could be better with more professional housekeeping. Dirty carpet is unacceptable!

The hotel was nice and clean. The staff was very friendly. The hot breakfast was a nice bonus, making my stay even better. I misplaced an item in my room and they called me to come back and get it. Honesty is the best policy, so I'd definitely return when visiting Atlanta again
