Staff were very nice at the beginning, but became very unfriendly when I told them I’m not loving my dress (that was never touched or altered and that was kept in the store). Unfortunately, I had to purchase a wedding dress that I don’t love because they weren’t willing to let me purchase other items with the money I had put down.

Skip everywhere else and TAKE YOUR DRESS HERE! I had my dress at another bridal alteration company for 6 weeks - when I picked the dress up a week prior to my wedding, it was still too big. I called around in a panic trying to find someone to help. TK bridal immediately let me come in and they fixed my dress in just a few days. They were calm, welcoming and so so sweet!! They can also press your dress for a small fee prior to your wedding. Save yourself the stress and time of other places and take your dress here They also sell beautiful dresses in the store if youre looking for one :)

My experience with TK Bridal was absolutely wonderful! They really helped me out because I had ordered a dress from another shop and it was sent with a mistake, so I was in a rush to find a new dress so I went shopping alone. Luckily the staff at TK Bridal made a stressful situation not only manageable, but actually enjoyable. They were so kind, encouraging, helpful, and they knew how to help me find the dress of my dreams! I am so grateful to TK Bridal for making the experience so perfect for me and helping me find my perfect dress!

Did my sisters final dress fitting today. The work is beautiful but the customer service needs a lot of work. Happy moment for the brides and they shouldn’t feel like a burden to the people they are PAYING 1k for alteration services. Sometimes it’s not what you say but how you say it. My first time in this shop and it was very unwelcoming. Again, nothing against the work, but I’m all about experiences and how I felt in that moment. If your attitude takes away from my experience, I don’t won’t the services. Smile more, you chose this occupation.I understand a bad day but everyone can’t be rude and unwelcoming.

TK Designs has the best wedding gowns, alterations and staff. Everyone there is lovely and does fabulous work. They all know all the gowns that are available. I have been a customer for many years and have always been happy with anything they do.My own children have also been happy with all that has been done there. I highly recommend them to everyone.

My daughter‘a appointment was 2:00. They didn’t get to her until 2:30. No apologies or anything. Once she started trying on the dresses we were enjoying ourselves . The owner came over and told us to be quiet which messed up the moment. Yet other people were making noise. And she said nothing. We are spending to much money to have to deal with nasty attitude. Everyone is telling me not to say anything to my daughter but I don’t believe in supporting anyone rather black or white with an attitude especially when we are spending $4000.00 for a dress. Messed up when you try to support your own.

My dress had a lot of layers and details, and I was so nervous about getting it altered. TK Bridal did a phenomenal job with the alterations! They were even able to help me figure out what was keeping me from loving my dress, and they made the changes easily. I was so happy with the finished product! Their prices were also much more reasonable than other places that I looked at.

BEWARE:I wanted to share my experience at this bridal shop back in Jan 2024. I filled out their required form online and provided a budget. I visited the shop on a Saturday morning with my mother. I was assisted by Norma. It started off well and she was nice. We chose some dresses together and she assisted me In trying them all on and I had settled on a dress I really liked. None of the dresses had price tags on them (which I understand is some what normal but a shady practice ). It was then time to discuss the price, since there was no price tag and bc I provided her with a “budget”, she decided to charge me a price that was on the higher end of my budget. I felt I needed more time to think about it at this point and wasn’t ready to quite commit . Norma began to be very pushy with her selling , telling us a whole bunch of Bs. Once she saw we were not budging, her whole Demeanor changed, she decided to leave our conversation with her. We said our goodbyes and kept it moving . Our interaction with her really left such a sour taste in our mouth that afternoon. Just because a bride provides you all with a budget does not mean they always want to spend upwards on their budget. Their total budget May consist of the dress, alterations and a few extras. I feel that this store increases the prices on certain clients based on what the sales associates perception is of the client which is not fair business at all. Although I had really liked the dress, I TRULY did not want to give this store any of my business and hard earned money because of how I was treated. So I took my business elsewhere where I was treated much more fairly and with more understanding. Please beware of the shady practices this shop employs and save yourself the trouble. A TERRIBLE ”bridal” SHOP! DO NOT SHOP HERE. To think this a black owned bridal shop which I was very excited about! I should not have expected much honestly and instead got exactly what I know to be true about a lot of black owned shops- poor customer service!

Words cannot begin to express how impressed I am by TK Bridal! First of all, their bridal dress selection is AMAZING! I consider myself someone pretty picky and my advisor, Norma, was PHENOMENAL! She was super adapt to all of my requirements and feedback; it truly felt like she had known me for years and knew what I liked. She is insanely knowledgeable and was giving me advise all throughout (advice on dress styles for my body type and size that in fact made me feel empowered and beautiful). She gave me pointers to consider for my bridal dress search and never made me feel pressured in any way. I truly had so much fun and I believe whole heartedly it was because of the beautiful dress selection, the environment of the staff of TK Bridal, and (most importantly) the beautiful and extraordinary Norma.

Norma, Norma,Norma! She is amazing! I got to my appointment early to look around the store and I saw so many beautiful dresses. I also looked on the website before my visit and we were able to try on a few of the dresses I chose. Norma was very personable and patient. I came by myself and she took all of my photos. The store has so many options I will be back for round two!

I would not recommend going here for wedding dress alterations. I asked ahead of time if they could add sleeves to my wedding dress and they were adamant they could, but the whole process was a nightmare. When I picked up the dress they were trying to rush me through my final fitting so I didn’t notice a huge hole in one of the sleeves that I had to fix myself. And overall the sleeves just did not look good. One kept sliding down all day and it’s clear in photos. It also took way longer than anticipated to complete alterations- they had my dress for THREE MONTHS and they tried to give me a completion date mere days before my wedding. Another thing- they left multiple thread knots through all the layers of the bottom of my dress, so when it was bustled it had these weird fold-over pieces that looked terrible. Luckily we noticed the day before and were able to cut them out, but we had to spend over an hour making our own adjustments to the dress. The bustle also kept coming undone so my MOH was constantly re-buttoning it. They did a bad job with the hem; some areas were longer than others and I kept trying to have them fix it during all my appointments. I was truly devastated and if my dress wasn’t so stunning overall it would’ve ruined my whole day. Photos to show the loose sleeve and bustle.
