I lived here for about 2 years, & I will say my experience in the beginning was great actually wonderful! Leasing Agent Kelvin helped me through everything and made the move in process as soon as possible, I want to emphasize that he was such a great help and remained such help as time went on… I have no idea was happened in the past couple months that made me just disgusted with the community and the office staff. Everyone besides kelvin was so unprofessional and just truly unresponsive to any of my issues once I spoke about it. Once I noticed there was suspicions of rat activity nothing was done until I found holes in my apartment and absolutely nothing was done for weeks until they just shut the holes with “foam”. I had a leak for almost 3 weeks. The community is honestly ran by roaches and rats- I’m so glad I moved when I did because upon me moving my things in the uhaul a neighbor came out asking if I’m moving due to rats ABSOLUTELY! Stating they just caught TWO LIVE RATS & were walking up to the office to let them know. They do not treat maintenance issues as anything serious. Even upon attempting to reach corporate office nothing was done. I will never reside at Whitney nor will I be residing under an Venterra Management properties due to the way The Whitney carried themselves as a company and community. You are better off finding somewhere where they don’t hide the fact that the community is rat and roach infested.

Toured this complex with Kelvin today and I was blown away with how knowledgeable and helpful he has been with the leasing process. I talked to him earlier this week and he immediately remembered me just from my name! He knew so much about the history of the units and went above and beyond to make sure I picked one I really loved. Anytime I’ve had to call or email, someone always gets back to me the same day. I was torn between several complexes but the customer service I received from Kelvin and the staff at the Whitney really sold it for me.

This was a great experience with Luis. He so very helpful and caring! He was very on top of everything and made the process very quick and easy! He has an amazing attitude and a very genuine person! This is a great apartment and get prices!

Do not waste your time. Too good to be true. They do not pick up. Liz is a bot that does the leasing agents job. If you have a black name go elsewhere. They will not pick up the phone for you. UPDATE: Years later…. “Sorry you obviously live somewhere else but call us….” Lol save a get a house

If I could give this complex 0 or negative stars, I would. This has been the worst apartment I’ve ever lived in. Management is not as responsive as they should be, request for having your apartment sprayed for roaches/bugs is go unattended. They will say they sprayed but there are no entry or exit notifications when they said they came. The appearance of the outside of the facility needs to be cleaned and has not been clean since we have lived here the entire time, which has been over 2 years now. The foundation of the apartments are cracking, the vinyl floors they put down peels so easily. The paint in the tubs are peeling at every chance they get. The steps to the dog park are rotting and instead of replacing all the wood, they only repair the ones that are broken but only after the step has broken. This experience has not been the greatest but it is what it is.

I’ve been residing at Whitney for the last going on 3 yrs. The space you get for an apartment is the major selling point. Cons.. cheap repairs, the walls, hard to clean fake wood floors, old cabinets, old buildings, no “Available” Courtesy officer when actually needed. Pros..the space, the pool, location, the staff. The staff here is so accommodating. They have made my experience here @ Whitney and new to this state manageable. More specifically Mary or Maria management , Keneasha leasing agent and Johnny maintenance. They have always been super super helpful, informative and friendly. Now Johnny, I don’t know where or how they found him but thank Goodness! Since he has come along , anything he touches for repairs etc has not had to be touched again. He gets the job done, correct, the first time! There was a huge turnover over maintenance guys before him and they were sorry to say useless. We just stop complaining and started screwing things ourselves, even my kids. SMH. A screw here or there that was the extent. We had repeat issues with closet door alignments, room doors coming off hinges, missing screws, cabinet doors falling off and Mildew!!! Since Johnny, no exaggeration ALL GONE. Finally, want to add the management office does little things like holiday photo shoots, pool party barbecues, Christmas hot cocoa themes etc through out the year, being new to it I thought it was cheesy at first, but it honestly has become something my kids and I look forward too. Makes the place more homey and family driven.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Please do not believe the five star reviews THEY ARE FAKE. This apartment complex is just terrible where do I begin:1. Roaches so many roaches it’s disgusting and who knows where they come from because we are not dirty people and never had a roach problem2. Terrible maintenance, they do not care just want your money, the bathtub began cracking and caving in, it took them 3 days to come fix it. Someone could’ve fallen and gotten hurt which could’ve been a lawsuit for them but again they do not care.3. The other night on 2/18/2023 around approximately 1:32 am there was a shootout between two individuals in building V, I’m telling you there was so much gunfire that it woke me and my children up out of our sleep. This was so scary and I couldn’t believe I actually moved here one of my children could have been shot in their sleep and these people in the leasing office or apartment management so nothing to secure our safety and we pay A LOT of rent here. I can’t wait to leave here this has been the scariest filthiest place I’ve lived in. Trash everywhere rude maintenance it’s terrible. Please don’t move here whatever you pay the extra money to be safe, there is a gated community just down the road move there don’t move here

As a current resident, I want to express my appreciation for Kelvin, our leasing agent here at the Whitney. I began my application process for this complex in June 2022 and, thus far, I have been honestly pleased with my experience not only with the current maintenance team, but also with Kelvin as our leasing staff member. He is sociable, knowledgeable, honest, & provides integrity with his customer service. He understands what it's like to be a renter and is not going to up-sell you on a bad apartment. It's his sincerity that helped be a deciding factor for me to choose this apartment complex. I met him with kindness and respect and he met me equally. That's what I look for when I am searching for a company that will do right by me as a client. Feel free to check out the Whitney for yourself and come speak with Kelvin.

I'm so disappointed, I tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt and the experience has been trash. the dishwasher does not work, the shower pick and chooses when it wants to work.. I don't understand why rent is as much as it is, when you can't even use the shower, dishwasher, and things constantly need to be fixed . The dog park has p*** everywhere , no one picks up after their dogs . Management is hard to get in contact with . What are we paying for???actually I feel the only thing you might be paying for here is the floors and the washer and dryer ... maybe the kitchen cabinets

Kevin’s customer service is excellent. He’s such a gentleman, he’s super respectful and his advice on moving in general is top tier. I love the apartment by itself, but knowing you have people that care like that at the front desk definitely makes you consider moving here even more.

The bugs are in charge pest control is only able to come bi weekly or monthly and even after bombing my unit alone the bugs still come in the unit. If you plan to move here the process is simple the unit looks visually appealing however I cannot state it enough be prepared for the bugs to live there too.
