My fiancé and I were pretty much just sleeping here due to festivities but it was nice, no complaints on that part.At 4am when I awakened I had a fraud alert for 279.44 that the hotel attempted to draft. At check in 284.50 was deducted from my account. Staff advised I pay the 35.00 upgrade upfront to avoid any additional incidental fees., I did that. Total stay was roughly 317.00 (316 +some cents)At checkout I discussed the issue with manager James and got nowhere. Only charge he proclaims went completely through was the 35.00 fee. He stated the 284.50 was an authorization hold and I owe the remaining 279.44 they attempted to draft that caused the fraud alert. (once again 284.50 was deducted per my transactions and the banker I was speaking with while trying to checkout. NO 35.00 charge is showing in my transactions). Due to using valet parking I had no choice but to pay the additional 279.44 in order to have my car released. I did that. After thinking things over I called my bank again to discuss my account. Per the banker I had charges of $1, $283.50, and $279.44 deducted from The Westin totaling $564.94. Thats for a 1 night stay. However my stay was only 317.00(roughly) per the manager James. With that being said where is the remaining balance that this hotel owes me ???And no incidental fees were taken or withheld at checkin to my knowledge. I asked the nice lady Shanice what was my total she advised 317.00 (roughly due to cents added to the 316.00) I WAS NOT ADVISED OF A 200.00 incidental fee so I’m very confused of how and why it was an additional 200.00+ charge that had to be paid at checkout.Due to the holiday I will allow time for processing before I proceed with further actions. I’ll be back with an updateNearby activities: NBA gameWalkability: State arena. Restaurants

I was charged for an extra day and they would not refund. Terrible customer service, expensive, and the hotel isn’t even nice. Definitely would stay somewhere else.

Seems like my room hadn't been touched in a while had some dust and some areas and the clock was not plugged in which made me feel like you know the room was clean just not retouched back upFood & drinks: The hard Rock Cafe and Hooters was less than a mile. There were other venues but not sure of what they were my visit was strictly business

The staff throughout the hotel were always is a bad mood and rude, especially the valet people. They need to learn manners and polite communication skills. Also had an unfortunate valet experience where they did not have space but I know one thing they did have bad attitude. Horrible

I've tried for over a month to be refunded for a room i booked for Monday, February 19th. My fiance and I used the room to get ready for an event we had at 7 pm that night. We get to the hotel at 4 pm to check in, and the room is not ready. Since we had to be at our event by 7, we had to get another room at a different hotel so we could get ready. The room at the Westin wasn't ready until 630pm, we never stayed in the room and tried to cancel the room in order to get refunded. The hotel refused to refund the money and even said we stayed in the room when we did not. Needless to say, don't stay at the Westin Peachtree in Atlanta. Customer service is horrible, very rude and they'll lie to make a buck.

What a terrible experience. Initially before booking the room, we called and asked for information on the rooms and the amenities. We specifically inquired if they had a bathtub since on their website it showed a bathtub in the photos. They told us that all rooms are THE SAME and that the difference between a basic room and premium was the floor level. So we booked it and when we get here we are surprised to see a shower. So we call the desk because now we are confused and they tell us “okay we will switch your room to one with a bathtub”. So we go down swap our keys, go into the new room… and still a shower but now a lower floor and worse view… we call again even more confused because… why were we switched if there was no bathtub in the new room. They then tell us that only the 2 queen bedrooms have bathtubs and that none were available. So why were we even switched? It seems that no one here knows what information is correct and just go on spreading misinformation confusing customers. Additionally, they weren’t apologetic about the major inconvenience they caused us. They didn’t show any understanding for our concerns and time. If anything, the staff seemed annoyed and didn’t care. For our time a measly $100 credit. Never again.Rooms: Wrong information about room details from staffNoteworthy details: sad experience

Hotel is right downtown. Easily walkable. For the price and being a member coming to this hotel was extremely disappointing. The rooms are okay, bathroom is extremely tiny, view was of a building. All in all not worth the money. Not sure why they are charging 270$ for a room with no bathroom and no view. It was clean enough but still not what I expected. The lobby, staff, and Starbucks was nice.Rooms: Not worth the price. Extremely Small bathrooms.

The service here is absolutely garbage. The staff do literally nothing. The Westin hates their guests! We stay at this hotel for the famous elevators and ONLY for that. Atlanta has 4 hotels that are famous for their elevators. They are the Hilton, Hyatt Regency, Marriott Marquis and this one, the Westin Peachtree Plaza. This is the only one that staying at causes lots of problems. This is the only one that has these stupid keycard readers in the elevators that only unlock the floor with your room. All the other hotels are either unlocked or your room key opens up all the floors. We are staying here RIGHT NOW and first of all they put us on the lowest floor so that means the SHORTEST elevator ride. Asked for a key to be able to ride the elevators up higher and they won't do it because of "security reasons" what a dumb lame excuse!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What do they think we will do?????This hotel is more like a prision that you pay for (and pay A LOT for) The horrible service continues though. There are also glass elevators that are express to the sundial restaurant and view. They make you pay to ride them yes even if you are a "valued" guest and if you pay it is only 1 ride so you can't get a good video. If you try to take more rides on the glass elevator the lady in the desk will get really mad and yell at you. WOW SHAME ON YOU WESTIN DO BETTER FOR YOUR GUESTS. The staff here are money lovers, you have to pay extra for everything even though the room costs so much money. And of course they don't do anything for their guests. I also need to mention how horrible the keycard readers are in the elevators. It is a big pain to even get to your floor because the keycard readers don't work half the time, you have to slam your keys and hold them on them for over 5 seconds to get them to work. If multiple people get in an elevator, everyone has to go through the pain of fighting the keycard reader to unlock. The rooms are nice though, but these snobs don't deserve money. I hope someone better buys this hotel and provides true good service. We come to Atlanta all the time and would always stay hear, but since the staff here are so dumb and horrible we will NOT come back!!! Westin Peachtree Plaza, Sundial Restaurant staff, GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shout out to Dale Shaw and Jailin Wiggins at the Front Desk who helped find my daughter's plushie / squishmallow teddy toy. Her heroes hahaTia at the front desk is very nice and helpful!! There was another woman who started to help me in the beginning and she did not get a chance to continue helping me but I could tell she would have been nice as well. Harry at the bellstand is very informative and courteous!!

The location is perfect and you can walk to the main attractions. The hotel is a three-minute walk from the subway station. It is very convenient for eating and shopping. The restaurant on the top floor overlooks the entire city. They pay great attention to customer needs and are able to solve customer problems in a timely manner.

It’s a fun building with gorgeous views from every room. The rain shower head was also a highlight. The pillows were all too large though and no free breakfast was a bummer. Also valet parking was the only option.

I was very hesitant to stay here because of the bad reviews. But my conference was at this hotel and I didn't want to have the hassle of a commute, so I did. The bad reviews are wrong. I'm really glad I chose this hotel and would go back again. It was not perfect, but the minor imperfections were far outweighed by the view from my 61st floor room! It was quiet on my floor with a fast express elevator to get there. The valet parking was a great service with attentive and kind employees. The tower did not sway in the wind like I had read online. It was a wonderful place to stay!

I stayed here on a business trip last week for the Hinman Dental meeting which I have stayed here a couple times before, it’s aways nice and crowded. When we arrived this year our rooms were not ready and the doctor booked our rooms back in January for March. We didn’t have to wait long about 15 minutes also we had valet parking which is always a plus. The gentleman at the front desk Jeremiah was very friendly and nice. We did receive a voucher for Starbucks which is located inside the Westin. The only downside was that the Sundial restaurant wasn’t open because of work being done that is suppose to be finished in April 2024 sometime and we only had one bottle of complementary water in the room when we clearly had two people. We called front desk and they brought up two more bottles free of charge. All in all it was a great stay as always.
