The Victorian Atlanta is such a cool plant shop! It was a very warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment I walked in. The staff was super knowledgeable and helpful with all my questions. They have a variety of plants that you cannot find just anywhere. I loved that they have different price points for their plants and pots. I purchased a plant and a cute white pot to go with it. I am terrible with plants but the owners, Libby & Cary, as well as their staff have given me so much knowledge and confidence that I can keep my plant alive and thriving! I can’t wait to go back and start adding to my plant collection!

The store is always so clean and presentable for a plan shop. It has always been pleasant to stop in and grab a plant or two but yesterday 11/5 a friend and I walked upstairs to just observe the decor and the newest extension to the store and as we walked back downstairs, one of your rude male employees told us we weren’t allowed to walk upstairs and gave us attitude and a nasty look. The two girls that stood upfront saw us going upstairs and did not say anything to stop us from seeing upstairs nor were there any signs or indication to show costumers we’re not allowed upstairs. Costumer service is key, especially in this economy, the approach and attitude your employee had in response to us being upstairs was unnecessary, unacceptable and absolutely rude.

Lovely store, great new location and stellar customer service. Unfortunately, just about every one of the plants I purchased has powdery mildew - a LOT - so much so that it looks like a billow of clouds on the top of the soil. (More than I've seen purchasing from BBS.) Upon closer inspection, the two Cebu Blue plants have leaf fungus to the point where they both went in the trash. At this point of the five purchased, only one remains. We'll see if she stays or ends up in the trash like the others.

This is a beautiful plant shop and the have a lot of great selections however the vibe is off. The owner is cool but you can tell some of the employees there are not use to interacting with black people they make it awkward. It sucks being a native from the very area they set up shop…being met with that type of energy. Otherwise a cool place to check out if you are a plant enthusiast

Beautiful plant store. I came in on a Sunday and the bar was closed, which was disappointing, because that's why we chose to visit this location. The associate helping me was new and didn't seem to have received much training about plants. This is no fault of her own, but it would helpful if their staff could share tips on general plant care so beginners can have an idea of how to keep their new plants alive.

Can’t wait to be back! We visited Atlanta from Pensacola for the weekend and I bought my very first Albo Variegated Monstera Deliciosa, after wanting it for sooo long.Unfortunately I’ve forgotten the name of the lady who helped me, but she was so patient and knowledgeable! She took the time to teach me in detail about the care my plant needs and then repotted, placed the coir pole for support and watered my plant.I’ve already told my friend’s they must come in and visit this wonderful plant shop.

This is my go to plant shop! The customer service is always top tier. They have such a great supply of plants, books, pots, soil. The fact that I can grab a new plant, get great advice on any questions I may have and grab a latte at the same time is always a win-win for me. They have a few outside seating options as well. This location has decent parking behind the building. Highly recommend if you are in need of a plant shop.

I had an incredible checkout experience with Darianne two days in a row. They recognized me coming back the very next day for another plant fix. Gave me wonderful care instructions off the top of their head. Knew the name of the plants I brought to the counter even though I only bought them because they were pretty. So knowledgeable. So kind. Thank you! Affordable plants too! Including a sale section.

I thought I killed my fiancés snake plants by over loving on it. Seems like I did the total opposite. Cary waited at the location for me to arrive to survey my plants. He assured me they just needed more water, especially since I left them outside to get more sun. He even repotted the plant for me! The level of service and knowledge given here was outstanding and the shop is beautiful. I can’t wait to visit the new location. Thank you Cary!!

After 5 years, I finally made it to the famous East Atlanta plant and coffee shop-in-one! I stopped by on my way back from a friend's place in South ATL. I ordered a coffee from Bellwood and bought a small succulent plant. Unfortunately, I am a bad plant parent and thus this plant died after a few weeks. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I felt like you could spend multiple hours here. There is also seating outside and at the coffee counter in the back. If you need a refresh from your daily life, The Victorian is the place to be!

The staff are generally always friendly and their selection of plants are usually great. Unfortunately I cannot bring myself to purchase anymore plants from here. I have purchased hated several cacti in particular from here and everytime I have lost them. The soil they use stunts the cacti root growth and suffocated the plants. I have brought many home that I have immediately had to replant because there were not even rooted. Several didn't even have roots. I thought they had revisited their soil issue after many wide complaints about it. However this most recent purchase the soil was almost like cement and the plant had no roots. I am so disappointed in a local plant shop and small business treating plants in such a way that I can get healthier plants from a big box store.I hope they learn to do better and change their soil again. It's sad because I truly love their selection but I cannot continue to loose plants that never stood a chance to begin with.

**Update** i did email their customer service email and have not received a reply. I went into the shop looking for a variegated heartleaf philodendron, and I noticed that the pot that had nicer variegation & overall looked healthier than the others was half a pot of philodendron Brasil. After asking the associate if it could be discounted as half the pot was not the variegated philo, I was advised the manager declined to offer any discount and the plant would remain $85! Half of this pot is full of a common, cheap plant & they are ok with still selling it for that expensive price! This is bad customer service & dishonest! People work hard for their money. There was no apology or attempt to remove this plant from the floor, and it will remain there for that price until someone unknowingly buys it. I feel like this is taking advantage of customers for their dollar.
