This rating is strictly for summer camp.
The daycare center is beautiful, it’s very clean, and for the most part friendly staff.
However- $375 a week for summer camp and literally my child comes home complaining about how boring it is. After waiting a couple weeks, and observing, I’m deciding to leave a review. It’s summer, allow the children to have some more fun. There are no trips, only indoor trips which several children aren’t too happy about. It’s like normal daycare. After looking at “tadpoles” daily, I’m noticing it’s writing, coloring, snack, a movie- essentially you’re just paying for a sitter I assume. I’m assuming this is how the new age summer camps go, but in this economy if I am paying almost $400 a week, I’d at least like my kid to come home with something to rave about. It’s a lovely school, summer camp is just boring!! Whoever is in charge of the summer program can we spunk this up some?!

My niece attends The Goddard School of Sandy Springs and loves it! Her parents and she have been so happy since starting. Everyone is sleeping better with the care she’s receiving. The daily report cards are my favorite to be able to keep the whole family up to date on Scottie’s progress.

I knew when I was searching for a daycare for my little one I wanted someplace where she would feel nurtured and cared for while also helping with social, cognitive and skill development. I found that at Goddard School and more. It is so nice when you walk in the door and everyone from the front desk to the administration and teachers greet her with a smile. The teachers collaborate with parents to provide the best care. One thing in particular went above and beyond my expectations. Unfortunately, my little one was hospitalized at a local hospital for about a week. Every day someone from the school called me and checked in on her and myself. They even offered to drop off food. In such a difficult time for a momma and kiddo, it is that type of care and personal touch that I knew I made the right decision to have her attend Goddard.

As a new mom, I searched high and low for childcare for my toddler. I was really nervous about him starting school. I’m so thankful we found this Goddard school.
We had a great tour with Diana. She was very nice and knowledgeable. The kids seemed happy and engaged. These were all good signs. What convinced me was the head of operations Thonja and director Noemi. Our first meeting, they answered all my questions thoughtfully and thoroughly. They made me feel very at ease and comfortable with enrolling my son. Fast forward and these ladies are still incredibly helpful. They’ve played a major role in our positive experience with this school. If I have any questions, they are quick to address and act. They are very supportive of parent involvement and welcome any suggestions. They are gems! But not the only ones. The teachers are fantastic too. My son loves his teachers and is greeted daily with hugs. He runs to school so I know he’s enjoying it. As parents we’re enjoying witnessing the new things he’s learning and knowing he’s safe and happy.
Other things to mention: The facility is well kept and clean. Safety protocols are followed. The daily reports are timely and helpful. There are even fun events for the whole family. The trunk or treat is awesome!

So most parents have trouble looking for child. So as I’ve been needing childcare for the longest, I have realized the difference . I’m a single mother and I have had my children and DAYCARE, LEARNING ACADEMY, and Now SCHOOL. But not just any school .GODDARD SCHOOL. So you see here, you have to go by the name of the Childcare, because I’ll tell you one thing Day care and Academy yes they are not so well. I’m and love with this childcare center here. Where they do care about your children and they do teach your children. I can see it an my children Body language when I drop her off and pick her up That she loved it too. I love the fact how they get their food catered to them. PLUS ITS a nut free school.I never really experienced that before, but it’s still awesome and, It’s amazing. And my five year-old daughter she just can’t stop talking about her teacher, and the things she learn in class. They be teaching them Spanish and they teach them other cultures too like Indian technician. The most part of their all that I love about the school is very safe. Only the parents can enter the building. Like even my mom, will have to wait until , they will have to call to get the kids to come downstairs and bring her to my mom. And they don’t allow tailgating they make you wait at the door. For like the new person. so if you’re looking for a place to put your children, don’t look no more this is the place to be.

We absolutely love Goddard School of Sandy Springs! Returning to work after maternity leave is really hard, and our baby has been so loved and cared for in the infant class and by the entire Goddard staff. We cannot say enough about how positive our experience has been.

Both of our children went to The Goddard School of Sandy Springs (Hammond Drive) from newborn status through Kindergarten. We can't say enough positive things and the teachers and staff feel like extended family at this point. The owner and management are top notch, and the quality of teachers is second-to-none. If you truly want the best for your kids in metro-Atlanta, then Goddard is the place to be!

This is my 3rd kid in daycare, but my first at Goddard. I wish I had found it sooner! My kid is happy and looks forward to seeing her teachers and friends everyday. The teachers also seem happy and valued by leadership. I love that many of them speak Spanish - so great for the kids’ growing brains to be exposed to multiple languages.
