I had an exceptional experience at The Flats at Atlantic Station. Danielle and her entire staff were extremely accommodating and patient with me throughout the entire process. The building is excellent, with top-notch amenities and a prime location. Highly recommend!

Even after many years since moving out of The Flats Apartments in Atlanta, I am still haunted by the horror story of my experience. This place robbed me of approximately $2,000 in 2014, and the leasing office's dishonesty continues to sting to this day.
The leasing office staff are incredibly dishonest, prioritizing the company's benefit or their acquaintances over the well-being of residents. As an international student, I was taken advantage of and left feeling helpless. They took my entire deposit, citing a hidden clause in the contract that stated if I moved out early, I would forfeit my deposit.
The worst part was when they coerced me into handing over my keys to an acquaintance of the leasing office staff, who was going to take over my lease. They made me panic, telling me that if I didn't give her the keys immediately, she might not sign the lease. When I contacted her, she seemed surprised and told me that she had already signed the lease but accepted the keys anyway. This acquaintance moved into my room, despite me having paid for the entire month of June 2014. Essentially, my rent for that month was used to provide free housing for their friend.
I am writing this review now, ten years later, because recounting this story to a friend today still brings up intense emotional pain. The Flats Apartments took advantage of me, exploited my situation, and left me feeling violated and betrayed. Avoid this place at all costs.

My son has a unit here. He pays via debit card through the leasing website. The payment company takes the money out of his account at the beginning of the month faithfully and it references The Flats. But then the leasing office says they don’t have a record of it. They told me I need to talk to my bank. The manager is not helpful and doesn’t have a clue what’s going on and a lack of concern for a resolution. They are always under staffed and as soon as you sign the lease they don’t take your calls anymore. Good luck.

I talked on the phone with David about a weird situation in signing a lease. He broke it down and made it very simple and explained everything extremely clearly. He was happy to answer all my questions, and quickly too. Prompt in giving me a call back and was respectful throughout my whole interaction with him. Great staff and super helpful!

Lived here for the past two years and never really had a good experience when reaching out to maintenance or the front office. They have an emergency hotline to call in times of emergency and still can’t get through to anyone. They have no sense of urgency I do not recommend living here.

I lived here for a year and I had no complaints. The flats is good, maintenance requests get resolved fairly quickly, there is always help even after hours, and they are providing good service. I would continue living here if it was not student housing because I have graduated. Do not think twice about getting an apartment here. It is worth it.

I'm trying to complete the leasing process for my daughter and no ever answers phone calls or returns them. I hope this is not indicative of what's to come but certainly aligns with what other are saying in reviews.

I have lived in the apartment for three years.Managers, maintenence and night staff was helpful and fantastic although the staffs in the office seems a bit unhelpful and uninteresting the residents concerns. Some of them still are still texting ( not even look away from the phone screens or smile) while the residents come to the office for packages or questions.
