Hours: The Children’s Garden is designed as a sensory-rich environment for young children to discover what awaits in the world and to grow all their capacities. We are a nature based, Waldorf-inspired preschool, with an emphasis on relationship-based care. We serve children in a half-day program from ages 2 - 5 years. Our classes are small, with two trained teachers in each classroom who revere cherishing childhood and providing a natural, homelike setting. Parents and teachers enjoy a partnership and work together, supporting and nourishing the young child's development as a whole - head, heart and hands. Ours is a mostly outdoor living arts curriculum. Children experience a balance of play (freedom) and structure (form) to the daily rhythms.
