I’ve been living here for around two years now and I’ve loved every second of it. Amazing office staff and responsive maintenance team.

Absolutely love this community! The property's location is unbeatable, offering easy access to local shops, dining, and transportation. Plus, the management team was incredibly welcoming and responsive to any needs or questions. Highly recommend!

Do not recommend. 1st impressions are most important. Upon entering this community, we called in on the call box to be let into the gate. Someone answered and we informed them that we were coming to speak with a leasing agent. The response was "How can we help you?". At this point we already knew what we were walking into. As we get to the desk, we were immediately told "We are done touring for the day". They clearly wanted to leave early even though the office hours indicated they were still going to be open for another 45 minutes. We've had other properties display exceptional service by touring us 5 minutes before closing given that not everyone can get there before 5 due to work schedules. To make things worse, A couple walked in while we were getting information and they were given keys to go look at an apartment. When asked if self tours are an option, the response was "They live here". Well this experience was just enough reason to NOT to want to live here. This apartment complex might want to reevaluate their customer service.

Kiara was most definitely a pleasure to work with, very patient. The walk through convinced me this was the place! The entire property is well managed, clean, pool clear in color, no smell of trash, exceptional upkeep of grounds. The actual units are modern & sleek. Open floorplans, high ceilings & NO popcorn ceilings!Kiara thank for your professionalism, making the experience warm & welcoming!10 stars! :)BML

My move to The Bricks was one of the easiest I have ever made! The staff were helpful with making sure everything was ready for me before I arrived! And the movers had a very easy time getting my furniture etc to my apartment! I couldn't be happier!

The community is great, maintenance staff is awesome, and the office staff does the best that they can. But, property management does not care.Reached out to property management when pipes froze and the apartments flooded. They took their time responding and I reached out multiple times to ask for updates on unit repairs or accommodations that never happened. They could’ve cared less.

Bricks at Perimeter sucks. Office staff is good. But the company is the worst. Please don’t sign here and lock yourself. They gave me trouble by adding unnecessary charges even though their so called rental app is not working. No matter what the situation is, they will charge you extra. They will also charge you common electricity fees which is not mentioned in the lease.

Read this before you sign a lease at this place.I lived at this place for a year and a bit, before deciding to break my lease.Only thing good about this building is their Maintenance Team.Issues:1. Floors peeling2. Washer leaking and flooding my apartment.3. B.S. common area electricity fees that does not show.up as a charge on your lease agreement.5. Trash everywhere. Residents have no common sense on how to dispose of their trash. They will pile it up next to the trash bins in the parking garage or just outright dispose of wrappers, empty bottles, or bags in the parking garage.6. People speed in the parking garage like a bat out of a hill. One guy almost hit my car.7. People do not pick up after their dogs in the dog walk area.8. People smoke weed and it it comes in your apartment constantly.Despite the issues I listed, and informed magement of them, nothing was done. Now, I received a move out bill of $375 dollars. I have videos of when I moved and moved out and the way I left the place.Do not be fooled by the appearance of the apartment or the amenities. Absolutely not worth your hard earned money.

I went on a tour at this place. The apartment was nice, and I was consider to rent it. But once I got inside the unit, their apartment unit smells disgusting as well as their washer and dryer were dirty and nasty. You wouldn’t want to put your clothes in their and wash.If you ever tour a unit, make sure to open the washer and dryer and look at them. The double stack washer is super tiny that you barely can put anything in it. Even you buy new double stack washer and dryer to replace it, it has to be tiny because the space that the washer and dryer are in is tiny.I have toured so many apartments, but by far their unit and appliance by far is the most disgusting. If you are going to rent an apartment, make sure you actually get to see the unit as well as check out their appliance.

The people that live here as neighbors are great!! The maintenance staff is awesome!! The office staff does the best that they can. But the true property management and the company itself could care less about you.We live in one of the “penthouse” apartments as they call it. But have went 2 months with a dishwasher that doesn’t dry (despite supposedly having upgraded appliances) and an AC unit with only 1 return air vent for a 1600 square foot 3 bedroom apartment!!! They will try to tell you that Isra “blowing 40 degrees out of the vent”, but without proper return air vents it doesn’t pull the actual hot air out. And the air blowing out comes at a trickle. Our power bills for the summer range from $300-$400. We reached out to the prior tenant since some of their mail still comes here and they stated they had the same issue and reported it as well. The community is great, but If you want this particular unit… I’d ask lots of questions and get them to address these issues BEFORE you move in!!!

I think I'm eligible to write a detailed review having stayed here for several years. I could easily give 5 starts provided they solve below problems first and good things at the end of the review.Needs improvement:1) The worst policy you will encounter when you try to move out. I was informed that the vacation notice clock starts from the 1st of next month and not from the day you gave. So, if you notify them that you are vacating on 2nd of July, the 90 day or 60 days notice period actually starts from 1st August instead of 2nd July. It's just looting policy. When you are taking in people, are you not taking in from any day of the month? Are you not charging prorated when you move-in? Why the hell this policy when moving out other than taking advantage of people leaving?2) Cold staff - except Jackie, I hardly felt welcome or no smile at all when interacting with staff. I felt only comfortable talking to Jackie for all issues. They definitely need some training.3) Poor email communications - they never respond you to your email. Even if you need a response, you have to call or visit office. How hard is it for them to reply, "we received", "we processed", "we acted on it", say something responding to emails.4) Delayed charges - you setup auto pay to process on the portal and it works fine as long as everything is on track. One fine month, they decide to post some charges late so auto pay would not know because it already executed. They silently charge for not paying as late fee. Whose fault is it? You will never get email on late charges not even late fee. I suggest all renters to keep checking their system online every month. One good thing is, when I went to office, they reverted the charges. But once I was warned that this is the last time they will reverse. Come on, is it my mistake that I got warning for?5) Need improvement for common area cleanliness, beware they started adding additional charges for common area lighting and cleaning, luckily I moved out before it started.6) No play area for kids, it's purely concrete :)7) Renewal bonus - A couple of years they offered freebies like cash discount, free Nest. But it's not automatic, you have to follow up for many months to get what you are promised. First year, they never gave me the cash discount. For nest, I followed up for 6 months to get it for the second year. They give free carpet cleaning but I was not told I need to utilize within 30 days. so, could not use it for the first time. Second time, I used but that cleaning also useless, they just dumped plenty of water on carpet and left. It took 3 days to dry up!8) Referral bonus - same issue, I had to follow up 6 months to get this referral bonus. They need to make these things automatic.9) Charges for loading zone - come on, we are paying several charges, but why do you need money for move in and out also? You can allow them to load and unload for free. You can still have booking system so nobody abuses the place but charging for that also is simply ridiculous after huge rental and other charges are being paid.Good things:1) Location Location Location - hot and prime location, accessible to eateries, shopping and entertainment.2) Service requests - always handled in a few hours or a day.3) Overall maintenance - it's not the best but better than nearby communities, garage regularly washed.4) Gym - I think it's decent, not many communities provide it and it needs kudos here.5) Swimming pools - there are two swimming pools, I never used them but it's nice to have them for those interested6) Having Jackie :)7) Move out charges - Depending on the length of stay, you need to start looking at charges whether it's reasonable to apply. I say it's still better than nearby communities but still there's room for improvement.

On 7/15/2023 I visited The Bricks Apts to inquire about a two bedroom apartment, and was immediately discriminated against. The leasing consultant who's name is Jackie who sits in front of the door saw two black people walk in and automatically assumed we couldn't afford to live there ,and were not qualified to go through the process. The Manager took my DL and quickly scanned it without letting the potential resident know what she was doing. The Property Manager made excuses for her leasing consultant poor attitude, and behavior towards us. We had a horrible experience at the Brick apts and the customer service did not align with the OVER PRICED RENT that they were charging. Please treat everyone equally, and don't assume they are not qualified simply because of skin color.

I have lived at this property for almost 3-years. From the outside it looked nice but please look deeper. This complex hasn’t been updated since I moved in 3-years ago. The door to the parking garages have been broken off the hinges since I moved in. My back door to my porch wouldn’t locked an I put in a request when I first moved in. They didn’t fix it until my dad spoke to the property manager. They have raised the rent for this property atleast $300 over the last few years. Not only do they charge you for trash for they are now charging their residents for a common area trash and electricity.. since when do I have to pay for your amenities? I was told over email it wasn’t a new charge an it’s been included in my lease information for the last 2-years. Then after I said it was a new expense they back peddled and admitted to me it was WITHOUT NOTIFICATION TO THEIR RESIDENTS. They have now updated their online portal to where you can’t do partial payments an will charge you out the tail for late fees. When I went to the office to confront the office about the second late fee that shouldn’t be on my account because it’s not my fault the portal wouldn’t process it. I was told the extra fees were sent out in a letter to residents. NEWS FLASH - no one got the letter. Not only are they charging for common area expenses but charging 2-service fees for debit and credit cards. But they will only take a cashiers check if you drop it off.The last time I signed my lease I called the office to get a round about estimate for rent the girl on the phone, Kira or Kisha, said she had no clue an that I needed to call back. I called back and Jackie answered pretty much telling me to move out an that she would personally write the letter for me. So that was how they decided to treat their residents during high inflation. When sometimes this price was the only thing some people can afford. This management company is very disappointing and I couldn’t be more upset by how rude and disrespectful the staff is much less the lack of communication. They absolutely will nickel and dime you an lie to your face. Please reconsider before moving in.

Moved in less than a week ago. Whole process, from viewing available units to applying to moving in were handled professionally. Special thanks to Tori, who was my main contact, and also to new manager Kisha, who is a friendly and helpful professional, but all the staff have been great. So far, very happy with everything. The Bricks is conveniently located to shopping, huge upscale mall, and Walmart, plus I can walk to restaurants and shopping. Marta and the airport are a breeze to get to. Highly recommend!
