Wow! All I needed today was a can of touch up paint, so I did not expect that I would come home and feel compelled to write a Yelp Review about the paint store. The two gentlemen who run this store display kindness and customer service from a bygone era! As soon as I opened the door, they greeted me as if they had been waiting all day for me to stop by for my can of paint! As someone who just fully renovated my house and is still suffering PTSD from all of the hassle of THAT experience, I cannot recommend this paint store highly enough! What a treasure of a store with excellent customer service!

Very rare to find a business with all 5-star reviews, but this business truly understands customer service. I have been a customer for years and have relied on Thomas Jr and Thomas Sr painting expertise. They truly understand their business and go above and beyond in the customer service departrment from giving great paint color ideas to insisting on delivering paint to your vehicle. Do yourself a favor and take a trip to Southwest Paint for your next painting project - you will not be disappointed and will likely find yourself leaving a well deserved 5-star review.

Excellent customer service - no VOC paint This is my first paint job using Benjamin Moore. SW recently discontinued their Harmony No VOC paint and and their rep sent me to Benjamin Moore since they have several No VOC paints to choose from at various price points. When I drove up at 2:30pm on a Monday the place looked closed. But as I walked up Tom Jr open the door for me and I quickly understood why they have such a high rating. This place is like the Cheers of Paint stores. They know their customers and they want to make sure you get what you need. I am very indecisive when it comes to paint and Tom Jr answered ALL my questions, gave me some things to think about and provided recommendations without any pressure to buy. The next day I called ahead to place my order, paid and everything was loaded into my trunk. Wow! This place is a whole vibe, if you need paint get it from here.

Absolute top notch service and products. If you're looking to buy paint ITP, on the westside, in the west end, or in the metro- then this is your place. My husband and I, naively, embarked on a westside home rehab/renovation journey. Every wall and ceiling of the interior needed to be painted, and the exterior needed paint too. And I'm super picky about paint colors, finish, and quality. So I had lots of selections to make. I made LOTS of trips to Benjamin Moore Paint/Southwest Paint, and on every visit I was treated with friendliness and helpfulness. The service is top notch! They were eager to give their advice AND they would escort me and my many samples to my car, after I made my purchases. This is an absolute gem to have in the area. West End, is truly the best end.

I had the most amazing experience at Southwest Paint. The advice given for my project was priceless. Thomas Sr & Jr were patient and made me feel confident that I could achieve my desired results. My fireplace is beautiful and my visitors are impressed. Now I’m ready to tackle some more projects with their professional guidance of course. Thank you so much for your help! I’ll be back soon!

Mr. Thomas Jr and Mr. Thomas Sr go above and beyond to make sure that you get exactly what you need from their Benjamin Moore paint selection. We would normally never use anything other than Sherwin Williams paints; however, with a materials shortage due to COVID-19 and other issues, Sherwin Williams stores were unable to do paint samples for us, so we checked in with Southwest Paint & Decorating. SO GLAD WE DID!!! These gentleman provide over-the-top customer service, have been VERY PATIENT with us, and offer WAY more knowledge than our questions require, which helped us make best-informed color decisions for our project. It's been a long-run with our favorite big-box brand. However, it's time to give credit where it's due, and we will purchase all our paints from Thomas Jr and Sr at Southwest Paint & Decorating, moving forward.

I'm still in awe of what Tom did for us yesterday. We bought a gallon of a paint color that ended up not being what we wanted. I called the store to see if they would mix a few samples so we didn't waste any more money. When we finally settled on the color we wanted, Tom told me bring back the unused paint. I still don't know what magic he used, but Tom was able to match my 5/6ths of a used can EXACTLY to the the sample we liked - and for no additional charge. I can speak to 3 years as a customer here, with not one visit that was less than exceptional customer service. But yesterday...the visit yesterday exemplifies what these guys are about. I wouldn't shop anywhere else.
