I love SOPFC!! I play multiple nights a week and the environment and culture they have created is phenomenal. I couldn’t imagine what I’d do without the SOPFC family!!

SOP FC is one of the most fun leagues I've ever played in. It's as competitive or friendly as you'd like it to be. Promotion and relegation formats make sense, management is helpful with issues and friendly, games are well organized, and I had the opportunity to even appear on a documentary that was shot on one of the games. Their pickup games are also very well run and worth the money. They also do a lot of social activities to meet people (can't wait for the Christmas party). Could not recommend this league more to anyone else.

the women's + non-binary league on wednesday nights is a super fun, inclusive, competitive environment. by far the best experience i have had as a woman in the adult soccer league world, and SOP does a great job of cultivating community. cannot recommend it enough, whether you are just learning to play or have played all your life.

I could not speak more highly of Chris Wedge, the various site managers, the coordinators, all of the SOPFC team. We pay for a weekly private pick-up game and they go out of their way to accommodate us. Overall, SOPFC is a super professional organization that understands and supports those of us for whom soccer brings so much camaraderie, healthy competition, and pure joy. Nothing but gratitude for SOPFC, thank you!

Great organization that has well-run and well-officiated leagues, and hosts pickup sessions almost every night.

Amazing, fun and a great way to bring the community together through the best sport. Always happy to go out there and get your mind off the everyday routine. Definitely recommend the league! Friendly and helpful staff as well! Keep up the great work!

Used to be a good league- now, with popularity, it's has taken a huge nosedive into mediocrity. I've played with this league for 6-ish years now (~24 "seasons" or however they call it), so I've gone through all the patches, but this is my last season, and I won't be back.In the beginning, refs were mainly decent to good. Everyone makes mistakes (myself included), but they owned up to it, and tried their best to be fair and objective. In recent years, it's evident they make no effort to train and/or motivate their refs, and their quality has been significantly tarnished. There are maybe 1 or 2 good refs left in the league now- most don't understand basic rules, but worse than just getting calls wrongs (because, again, who doesn't make mistakes), they make things personal, are conceited, and are completely unprofessional. They not only add fuel to the flame in a hotly contested match, but they also make it much more dangerous for the players, as they are actively engaged in the drama, rather than working to move the game along and control the game. Threats from players are ignored, and zero criticism is allowed, constructive or otherwise. Moreover, many of them are just straight up lazy. They stand in the middle of the pitch, often just directly in the flow of play, and make no effort whatsoever to get out of the way. They have a "reporting system" where you are allowed to review the refs following a match, but it's pretty obvious they are a waste of time, since there isn't/hasn't been any change for the better over all these years, and the same horrid refs continue to get the same game time.Honestly, all of this is pretty sad, because some of the admin staff are good folks, and I have met plenty of nice people throughout my years with the league. Unfortunately, you need good (or at least decent) officials to run a good soccer league. This league no longer has even that level of quality.

Absolutely, without a doubt, the worst adult league I have ever been a part of. The league is disorganized and the refs are absolutely awful. The show extreme bias and are uneducated. These kind of refs trying to officiate the game are going to cause people to get hurt. Either they need to educate their referees better, or they need to get better ones.

Amazing group of people who run the pick up games. Cool players too. Brought my teenage son for the first time and the guys running the games were encouraging and helped him feel included. The location is fantastic as well.

I've been playing with Sons of Pitches for several years now - great staff, easy to use website, tons of playing options. I've met some good friends here, and it's kept me in shape while having tons of fun. Highly recommended for anyone interested in playing soccer.

bad refs , tough players , aggressive people even without the ball ,trash talk during every single game , and nobody tries to stop it ,this is not soccer .moreover , the ball is not a standard soccer ball.Am talking about the leagues, don't know if its same for the pickups

First things first. Shout out to Shelby for sticking around after 4 hours after closing to make sure I was able to leave safely after dealing with car troubles.Thank you for also affirming my belief system and my perception of the climate of the sociological environment built to the leagues standards on how to treat individuals. The quality of play is very nice for an "Adult League"SOPFC is a safe place for POC, internationals, and LGBT community to play.SOPFC has been nothing but absolutely warm and inviting. Being a male athlete within the queer community has not been easy. I turn 29 next month. I have played Goalkeeper in 5 nations (at some of the highest levels on earth) and many states and I haven't felt welcome as a human in a lot of places. This is a long rooted pain in my life that dates back 20+ years. It's 2022 and queer athletes are not welcome everywhere but for once in a long time. I feel a space safe to step on the field and just play.I am also extremely pleased with the quality of field. The neutrality and quality of Officiating. Until I finally move into Atlanta I am commuting 4 hours round trip for this leagues.Serious super job on building a genuinely nice community I hope the rest of the south can follow your guidance..
