Rooms are small, clean, and quiet - makes for a very cozy stay. The place is quite nice as well, perhaps a bit dated but very well maintained. Staff was friendly & helpful for check in/out. The indoor pool is great, very clean and well kept - temperature is nice & the chlorine isn't too strong. Nice view from the room too, even though we didn't go for one of the nice ones.They do charge extra for things like parking and breakfast, so if you are looking for those things check the charges before you book. But if you're just in town to explore the area and need a place to stay, it's a great spot!

Arrived at 3 and was told check in is 4pm. I could check in early if I paid $30! WTF? I've encountered this in the past. It was in Vegas and the front desk was slammed with people coming and going. There was NO ONE around and the room was ready? With this and attitude of the staff, I'm never staying here or other Sonesta hotels.

I wish I could give you more than 5 stars. I am the Concierge at the Cobb Galleria Centre and wanted to commend both your exceptional front desk staff and your shuttle driver for really going above and beyond in assisting our guests for the Brawhalla Event at our facility. Your customer service is outstanding and our guests were beyond pleased with their stay at your hotel, which I will definitely be recommending to prospective guests.

Good location, horrible stay. The room smelled like cat pee. Found hairs on bed, and a big red stain on the sofa bed - very disgusting. There was a party apparently, two out of the four nights we were there and they kept running on the floor above us.

No fridge or microwave barely any cable. But quiet and clean has a gym and indoor pool which was nice to use.Safety: I did feel safe at the sonesta it's quiet and pretty comfortable.

No microwave, no free breakfast, everything a person would normally receive at no extra cost at even a mediocre hotel is not only charged for, but charged exorbitantly for at this hotel! Do yourself a favor.....stay somewhere else.$4.00 for a muffin!......seriously?Noteworthy details: Overpriced, charges for everything including parking. Left feeling fleeced

It was a nice hotel, offered me what I needed, which was just a place to sleep and a shower. Close to the ballpark. Friendly staff. My only issue is pulling into check in. It's a very confusing corner the hotel is situated on. Could use a big sign saying pull in here to check in. Between my GPS and the intersection, I pulled in the wrong spot and had to turn around. But all in all, I would stay here again.

This is my second time posting the review of this specific location of hotel. I find it strange that my previous review was removed. I stayed at this hotel and found hairs on the bathtub wall on the check-out day. My hair color is organge, and the hairs on the wall was long blond and a short black. I attached the pictures I took right before checking out after having been grossed out. If I have known there were hairs stuck on the wall, I would have never stayed at this hotel. At least I would have mentioned it immediately, but unfortunately I am not someone who checked the bathtub and its wall that were covered by a shower curtain unless I need to use the bathtub, and I did not need to use it until the next morning, and there those were! I checked out immediately and contacted the online vendor first where I booked a room and made a payment since the front desk person and the Sonesta Corporate agent told me that was what I should do. The online vendor was going to process refund, but they re-contacted me 2 days later stating the hotel manager refused refund. According to the online vendor, the manager, Ty, said they would not refund because I already stayed there and did not bring it up to the front desk for them to do something about it. I contacted the hotel, and the accounting office person told me she would not process refund because I already stayed there overnight. NOBODY INCLUDING ME would have stayed there if known there were hairs covered and hidden by a shower curtain. She asked me to send her an email with pictures and maybe would process partial refund, so I sent her an email. I also contacted the Sonesta Corporate again, and they emailed me back saying they let the hotel manager know. After over a week later after no response, I finally heard back from the hotel manager stating no refund. I contacted the Sonesta Corporate again, and the agent immediately told me to contact the online vendor I used. So I explained him the situation, and he took a note and informed me he would send it to the hotel manager. I told him the previous agent already did, and the hotel manager refused. The agent said the hotel manager has the final say in all refunds, and the Sonesta Corporate would not do anything about it. He said maybe the manager would change his mind so he would still go ahead and resubmit it. One day later, an agent from the Sonesta Coporate responded stating the hotel manager declied the refund request. I feel so disgusted knowing that I stayed at this filthy hotel wondering since there were hairs on the battub, if the bedding sheets and other things were even cleaned. The floor carpet was damp, and I feel so disgusted about everything. I highly question the cleaness of this hotel and will never used this hotel or any Sonesta and its affiliated hotels.Rooms: Filthy, dirty and questionable property cleaness. Floor carpet was damp, beverage area was dusty, and mixed colored hairs were stuck on the bathtub wall where they were invisible due to a shower curtain.

The hotel did not clean the bathtub because I found hairs on the bathtub wall in the check-out morning when I was about to take a shower. I would have never stayed at the hotel or at least said something about it immediately if I have known there were someone else's hairs, but I did not know until the next morning because I am not someone who checks the bathtub unelss I need to use it. I checked out immediately and contacted the third online vendor where I booked a room to address the issue and request refund (Sonesta Coporate agent and the front desk said I should contact them for payment since I used them to book and make a payment). The online vendor was going to process refund, however, they re-contacted me 2 days later saying the hotel manager refused refund since I stayed at the hotel already and since I did not bring it up to the front desk at check out. I contacted the hotel and they refused. I contacted Sonesta Coporate again, and the corporate agent himself said I should contact the online vendor, which I have already did, so he took my notes and resubmitted to the hotel. The coporate agent also said the hotel manager has the final saying, and the Sonesta Corporate will not do anything about it. And the hotel refused refund again. I question their cleaness and will never stay at this hotel or any Sonesta affiliated hotels.Rooms: Dirty. Don't clean. Hairs in the bathtub wall.

You have to pay $12 a day for parking which is ridiculous. The room was a descent size but the beds are small and I don’t think they properly wash their sheets. My eye got infected the first night sleeping on their tiny pillows. The TV is the size of a desktop computer. The lobby is unwelcoming and their breakfast is completely overpriced. The entire stay was overpriced and the front desk lied and said the $50 per day deposit was nonrefundable. No microwave in the room and no free coffee. The indoor pool was mid and the ladders were about to break. The tub was stained and the towels had hair in them. The water pressure from the shower sucked. They are pet friendly with a $75 pet fee and give complimentary bed&bowl&ball but the dog bowl was dirty.Walkability: Cumberland mall is walking distance

My room was terrible. I had hair on my towels. I had old food in the corner on floor of room. The first room was mildew smell. The moved me to another room and it was very musty and that when we seen the hair the dirt on the bathroom floor and the food in the corner. I asked to be compensated. But yet no one has yet called me from the hotel. The staff was very pleasant. The young man was very accommodating, left messages for the GM several times as well as the other front desk staff, but no calls to me. The sad part is she received the money for my room for two nights and never took the time to reach out to me after she received several complaints about my room. Great customer service, Sonesta!Trent & Rachel was super sweet .As well as the other front desk clerk.Sonesta CUMBERLAND needs renovation seriously! That was offfall! The suite.. was a closet? To allow your guest to stay in a room that's dirty and musty is unacceptable and not even call or compensate them for their demise, it's not good business.Although, I totally enjoyed my 60th bday party! So when we arrived the lady at the front desk was very nice and courteous took care of everything went to get luggage and dogs out of car was met with some man that started saying we had to do something else for the dogs wow and in front of other customers he starts to tell us how much it's going to cost for us to bring the dogs in after paperwork had done been signed then the room that we got had a slide glass door that would not open the so-called breakfast was ridiculously overpriced and nothing but a microwave sandwich that I know of I've never been more poorly treated and disrespected at a hotel

Lovely lot, entryway, and a wafting scent as you walk In. Greeted warmly immediately! The hotel is nice to situated near mall and obviously not far from downtown Atlanta. Interior and a half ago. Hotel is showing a little bit of wear but it's still very nice. They offer a Starbucks coffee in the morning for about two hours but you have to pay for it , the room is clean for the most part. There are some areas that I don't think that the housekeeping touches. I'm always thinking of conehead and hoping that most surface areas are clean at least if not sanitized. I deleted the photo, but the alarm clock was very dusty. I will give them credit for leaving a sanitizing wipes in the room to wipe down areas. That was a nice touch. Keep in mind that you will be charged for parking underneath for $12. All in all, it was a nice stay. Hopefully when time permits the company will do some aesthetic housekeeping like the inside of the elevators. I will definitely stay here again if I had two and recommended to a friend.

Great overall experience. The dude checking me in was a little rude, though. Parking is an extra $12 per night. The location is excellent.
