Ate at cafe nextdoor. Cashier left her purse on a chair at a table and when I went to sit I picked up the bag looking for the owner and when I went to hand it too her she gave me an attitude and told me to put it back. This lazy b wanted to take up a cafe chair for her purse while she worked the bookstore.

I was at the register trying to purchase a book and there was not an employee to be found because they was standing in the back or the store and sitting down

We had a long layover in ATL and got to sample all of the major booksellers. Simply Books is simply the best. They have the largest selection with extensive fiction and nonfiction as well as gifts. Note: This pin is dropped over Concourse B. They have a smaller location in Concourse B, but their largest location is in Concourse A near the center.

This cute bookstore is what bookstores of the 60s and 70s used to be. A place where you can find children's books, cooking books, travel books, fiction or non fiction, magazines, etc....The setting (even though being inside an airport) is very small and cozy, with a cafe right next to it, so you can enjoy reading your purchase with a beverage. Besides books, I saw a section selling records, snacks, souvenirs, toys, etc...a nice place to grab something for anyone you love back home on your way home.

My daughter stopped here before her flight to support this local business. She picked out a couple of books and paid with the rest of the cash she had and tried to put the rest on her Greenlight card. The person working the register claimed her card was declined. Loudly. It in fact, was not declined and charged her not only once, but twice. This was on 6/11. So now my daughter was embarrassed, had to put her books back, and we are out $22.44.

The books were thoughtfully selected, especially the HBR business books. Great for management / leadership.

Tried to make two purchases. Employed seemed bothered to have to get out of her seat to ring me up. Then continued to be rude to the point we left and did not purchase.

I like to be able to bring back small gifts for my kids when I go out of town. This book store was perfect... they had the next book in the series that my oldest likes... he usually reads them in two days... and they had a book for my youngest by Dan Brown. Yep that's right, the same guy, the one who wrote the Da Vinci Code. It is a great book for my youngest and we have already read it 3 times! It is just nice to have somewhere to stop in and find something meaningful for my boy. Something that is not just another overpriced piece of cheap touristy fodder. This place is not really on the main path. But it is just off the square and easy to find if you are looking for it.

Lot of famous books and work from famous authors are lacking, they mostly have current bestsellers and the staff doesn't know about many famous books if you ask them. Lot of other better places are there with a wide variety of options and books for every kind of reader

Me: "Would it be possible to look and see if you have a specific book in stock?" Clerk's response: "Naaw." Not good if your looking for something common but specific. An acceptable solution for the desperate reader satisfied by random pulp.

Visited there today. Marshel was rude to customer as we were walking in- he and his family turned around and left ! When I made my purchase, she acted like she did not want to ring me up, she ask “ are you ready?, “ then ask,” do you want a bag?”, as she was playing on her phone. Never acknowledged me as customer and certainly never said thank you for my purchase. There were 2 other employees sitting at tables, eating. I will never go there and will not recommend anyone else going... Pitiful !!!
