My friend recommended Scott Richards to me after I mentioned I was looking for a color stylist who was good. I have brown hair and it had been a while since I had highlights. I was thinking I wanted balayage, but wasn't sure what technique - just wanted to overall brighten my look. I was encouraged after reading such positive reviews and I must say, Scott Richards does not disappoint. Scott used a technique of foil, hair teasing and darkened the prior color treatment that was still on my ends. He really took time to get it perfect. I can see now why everyone loves him! I love the results! He also is affordable, the salon has a great atmosphere and the rest of the staff is so friendly. He even brought me french fries from the next-door deli when he went to buy his lunch! I would give more than Five Stars if I had the option! So happy I found Scott!

This review is long overdue! I lived in L.A. for many years so I had my pick of swanky overpriced hairstylists. I found Scott a year ago when I moved here and stuck with him ever since because let me tell you, he's the best hair stylist I've ever had! I get routine full and partial highlights and haircuts with Scott every couple months. Even when I want to dial down the blonde slightly for fall, or lighten it up for the summer, Scott is flawless at making minor to major changes. And he always makes sure I leave completely happy. He has some great unique tricks up his sleeve for color and cuts. He's great with texture and making my hair feels it's healthiest. Can't recommend him enough.
