The corporate office needs to hold The Salvation Army of Wake County accountable for its poor leadership. They obviously condone retaliation against victims of sexual harassment. They are not concerned for the human race nor the poor population. They do not abide by the written policies on sexual harassment. Instead they punish victims who speak out.

The Salvation Army stores in Dallas,TX area are having major problems due to employee theft, starting with the Warehouse manager at distribution. The regional manager is also in on it setting aside and purchasing the most expensive items at penny's on a dollar, while price gouging for customers continues at all locations. Donated sofas are a whopping $599.99 to $ 699.99. That's ridiculous for a donated item that's suppose to help low income or needy families. Used non tested non working stereos are sold for hundreds of dollars with a buy as is policy. It's no wonder why Salvation Army is steady closing stores while the goodwill is steady opening new ones. It's called greed by thieves and ignorance by upper ranking mgt. Bottom line is, Salvation Army has gone ridiculous profit, and they need to be paying taxes like every other dept store.

The sole man - Will between the Donation Truck & Bin extends kind & helpful assistance. Even in 40 degrees weather he didn't mind helping offload my donations. He even changed his gloves before & after helping me. When the Donation Center is closed, you can scan the App Barcode to set up appointments for Drop-Offs & or Pick-Ups...also to receive a receipt. As I was driving off, I saw how he takes pride in keeping the area neat. Always a good vibe to be able to donate.

Scheduled a large donation online in August of 2020 for September 17, 2020 pickup. Called two days before to confirm pickup and to add additional donation items. Person at SA gave me a local phone number to call after 8:00 on the day of pickup to get an approximate three hour window for the truck to arrive. Called at 8:03 am on the 17th and was told we were not even on the docket for that day and the soonest they could schedule would be in October!! Even called the Southern Territory HQ and the ladies had no idea how to solve this problem and save a customer!! Sorry SA but my garage is full of items that need a new home. As much as I love your work, faith and programs it looks like management needs to ride shotgun on some of these problems and get them fixed. Probably one to to thousand dollars in potential lost revenue for the SA. I'll just have to go elsewhere this time and next. Sorry.

One of the worst experiences donating. These guys took two months to come out. They canceled the initial pick up the day of the appointment. We were trying to donate a perfectly fine sectional sofa. The sofa specifically did not have any stains or tears like the website had asked for. When they finally rescheduled and arrived two weeks after the initial month long wait I was told that they would not be able to take the sofa due to the fact that it had a layer of dust on it having have sat in the garage for two months while waiting for them to pick it up. Specifically there were no stains or tears on the sofa and after discussing that we have been waiting for them to pick up for so long that a layer of dust was reasonable I was told that they would not be able to sell the sofa being dusty and that if we had it cleaned then they would come back.I was then told by the truck driver that they had a warehouse full of donated furniture and that they did not need anymore.Very unprofessional. We have donated to the Salvation Army many times in the past and will no longer be donating in the future. The same sofa has now been sold without any issues.

This is my first night here at the Salvation army and I am highly disgusted and feel completely violated. I checked into the Salvation army with the help of my sponsor because apparently there were no ''free'' beds available and just one "paid" bed available. I complete my intake and documents around midday on 7/18 secure my bed and leave items in the closet provided for me only to come in from work at 11:30pm on 7/18 to discover that my belongings had been tampered through, 3 shirts stolen, and everything else in my locker trashed inside the garbage can that's stored inside our ''trans/lgbt" dorm. I checked in with the receptionist and asked about the policy on a refund and he told me that the business office opens up at 8am. I proceed on the room to take a shower & there is shower sponge brushes left from I'm assuming the other guests who work overnight, hairs in the shower and on the commode(just plain out filthy). I press on anyway and shower prepare to myself in getting dressed for bed and now aim hungry. Just so happens I had a cup of ramen noodles and the guy at the desks allows for me to warm them but does not have any type of utensil to give to me in order to eat the noodles. I wash the broken spoon that was left in the floor of my room and eat with that. The room was filthy upon entering and I am not satisfied AT ALL. Someone also in the room next to me has a horrible cronic cough and I'm having trouble sleeping due to all of the mishaps from today. Lord knows I'm in a situation but I expected more from the Salvation army especially if MY SPONSOR HAS PAID FOR MY STAY. IM DISGUSTED AND WOULDNT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.

I live in 30341. I have called Salvation Army to pick up my donations twice and twice they are not coming. I made a reservation online to pick up. I never got a call the day of so I called. I spoke to a guy that told me I had to call day of and verity pickup and that when you reserve online it doesn't tell you this. Now my sister uses Salvation Army and she has never heard of this. Anyway we rescheduled so I call the day of to verify and low and behold there is no reservation! I guess salvation army doesn't want or need the donations.

I've been working for Salvation Army for few years. I've never seen so much favoritism like this year. How is it that one gay man can work everyday. And workers that been with the corps for years can't. And this gay man tells the Capitan his own schedule. I think Headquarters need to investigate. It's been verbal fights in Jonesboro Corp.too.This is the Rudist Captain they ever sent. This is truly not right. Is Capitan Gay??
