Reached out for tax services, met with John in person at his office, great meeting, but absolutely no follow up. After numerous times of reaching out, found another tax service. Would not recommend

I tried using Mr. John Charles Roe, CPA for his help and recommendations for my tax return. In the early part of 2018, I called him to see if he could help me on a refund of $5,033.00 that I was supposed to get back in 2015. I explained my situation to John Charles Roe and he sounded very pleasant and confident that he could handle my problem. He charged me 100 dollars plus a service charge for his work which I understood. He filed an amended return for me and told me to wait

He told me to wait 3 to 4 months which I did, but I get a letter in September 2018 stating that my claim, that he helped me with, was denied because it was expired. So everything is good up to this point. I am disappointed and frustrated with John Charles Roe because he would not pick up my phone calls about why my claim/amendment was denied. In other words, he took my money and then when I had a problem, he left me hanging. In conclusion, I went to a different tax preparer and I did get the refund that I was trying to get on April 30, 2019. DO NOT USE John Charles Roe, CPA. Thank you.

Hated it... my husband used Roe he advertises so many places we assumed a real practice but so inefficient. I prefer Delerme CPA!

Met with and was promised that I would be prioritized. I explicitly explained that I would not be working with other CPA's if he could commit and gave him the chance to tell me that he was too busy. After multiple followups (5+ emails & 4+ calls) was again told that he would take care of my taxes. I offered to come in again, do whatever it takes and now 4 days before Tax Day and complete dead air.

I had a meeting with John Roe, who was very helpful. After the meeting he told me he would get me proposal. I never received any word from John, and after numerous emails, I am still yet to hear back from him.

Over the last number of years I have depended on John Charles not only for my family taxes which are a challenge which he and his team handles with no issues, but he has helped with the in's and out's of setting up my LLC.
