Horrible customer service experience. Woman yelled at me for opening a baby jewelry music box- literally freaked out like I had committed murder. We immediately put back all of the items we WERE going to buy and said we would appreciate a more kind, appropriate delivery. We were told by the owner our opinion of her delivery did not matter as she had been an employee a long time and “they would sell the jewelry box regardless”. We will definitely never be back.

I came here to buy a gift for my son 4th birthday. Im so glad I did too. I brought a wooden train, a school but and a friction train. He absolutely loves them. He takes them everywhere even when we're riding Marta. I will definitely return again they have this train set table and you can add train cars to it. I'm definitely coming back to buy it. There is definitely something for all the kids. They is stuff for adults too. But my focus was on kids items.

I’ll echo the terrible customer service. Myself, and on another occasion, a family member, had terrible experiences. Mismarked prices, broken items refusing to be returned during a return period, and general poor behavior. I’ve built, ran, and sold businesses. The way they do business can work… but it will alienate some customers. Good location helps dampen the CS issues I assume. I wouldn’t say don’t shop here, just equate it to going to a tourist trap somewhere and knowing you’re going to put up with a little worse of everything due to location.

My item was $4.93 and they refused to accept my credit card because they had a self imposed $5.00 credit card minimum. It’s their choice to be small minded and stingy. Just like it’s my choice to not return to their store. When you’re making your choice where to shop, I hope you’ll keep this in mind.Update: I did stay to hear your employee’s explanation. The issue at hand is the stinginess and stubbornness of you, the owner. (Which as I said earlier, is your choice to make). For potential customers, I would use this as another example to stay away. If you scroll through the reviews, this owner constantly tries to undermine every customer with a bad experience. Not once do they say “we are sorry” without then providing an excuse on why you were right. Potential future customers be warned. This is not a store. This is the owners sick personal pet project to feel powerful in their most likely otherwise sad life.

Great toy and crafts store. Fun to just go look, but be fully prepared to buy something. There is something that will spark nostalgia, or new interests that you will have to buy.

Found this whimsical little store in Midtown, Atlanta and I felt like I was home. Yes, I am a giant weird child at heart. This store has something for everyone and the prices are within a range that worked for me. I purchased skull shot glasses and they went perfectly with my eclectic style. The staff was friendly enough and were all busy working unlike most places these days where employees are just on their phones or ignoring the customers. I will definitely be a regular here because I want to feed my inner child. Good Times!!

really enjoy Richards generally speaking, although to be quite honest I feel like I'm on a bad-acid trip when I walk the aisles, lol. great selection for last-minute gifts and gag stuff. one of the folks behind the counter got a bit frosty with me when I asked about the return policy, but it might have been just a bad day. glad it's there, and the selection is crazy-good.

One of the dopest stores I’ve been to in Atlanta. It’s actually a time capsule fulllll of stuff from my childhood. Made me definitely miss the 80’s. Check it out…we’ll worth the visit.

Overheard the employees talking badly about a mother and her kids after they left just because her kid was having a meltdown and she was trying her best! As a parent, it was very upsetting to hear them trash talk her. Won’t be back.

Will no longer be shopping here. The lack of customer service is disappointing.I enjoyed shopping here because of the wide variety of things they carry. I also want to support local businesses. Unfortunately, my experience, today has changed my mind. I went in to do a return today, and their policy is 7 days.....I purchased the items 11 days ago. They don't have any "wiggle room" in their policy, even with a receipt. Very disappointing.

I can't imagine a more interesting store! The variety is no joke. Around every corner is a whole new section! I went in for a puzzle, but had to walk through every aisle!
