This used to be THE BEST kitchy place to shop. I would go religiously for stocking stuffers, unconventional approach gag gifts and unique finds. Then it changed owners. And got dusty, and eventually overtaken with kids stuff. Which is fine because I was in the area and needed a train themed kids present. While I was shopping I witnessed the person who I assume was the owner verbally abuse and belittle the female employee because she didn't log into a certain site. She just kept apologizing and saying it was her fault, but he kept at her. Then I went to the front to pay and she was unpacking some boxed items in front of one of the registers so she directed me to the other (steps away, no big deal). And again, in front of me, yells at her for doing this, so now I am trying to help her by saying "no, it's fine, whatever is easier" But he keeps at her and has that "just wait until the customer leaves" look on his face so I go back to the other register. She is now visibly shaken and flustered. But we get through it. I have no idea, other than she is so broken that she thinks SHE is the one at fault, why she stays working there. And by the way, check the prices, because I did and I paid 33% more for my 3 purchases, which totaled $100. I normally like to shop locally owned businesses, but if you shop here, you are supporting a nasty owner and getting ripped off. And if you think this place is still a 5 star place, check the dates on the good reviews. They are years old.

This is my favorite store to go to when I am in Midtown Atlanta. They have so many wonderful retro items I cannot stop myself from walking out without spending at least $200! They have toys that I grew up playing within the early 70's and some that I know my mother had in the 50's. They also have kitchenware, utensils, dishes, glassware, electronics, vintage candies, new candies, and just about anything else you can imagine. I can spend hours in there. I love this place!

This is a great store. It reminded me of the old type of drug stores we use to have when I was a kid. It has lots of toys and gifts. Check it out.

- needs to work on custom service with your Piedmont store.exchange/return policySeriously, who saves all their receipts! They would not exchange or return, it makes you feel like you stole it, then they ask who checked you out. Also - someone was smoking cigarettes inside the store - the store smelled like an ash trey - customers were complaining

AAHHHH! I LOVE this store! It’s my new favorite place! Every fun toy/gift you could ever imagine as well as helpful kitchen/household items and decor. They have affordable tapestries, books, journals, jewelry, gardening supplies, etc…I didn’t even finish looking before I had to leave. The staff are happy! Great for Christmas presents and stocking stuffers!

True variety in a store that has a wide variety of interesting merchandise as well as hardware reminiscent of old time 5 & 10s but with snd edge.

Wish I would have read the reviews before attempting to give my business. Like others have said the owner is definitely rude toparents and children, apparently you cannot open the door for your children to walk in because that's too long and per the owner "the ac will get out". Unbelievable is still in business.
