The bed was extremely uncomfortable, the shower water was not even hot it was warm even on the highest setting, the room had no microwave & the lock on the door didn’t not work! The breakfast was pricey and the WiFi wasn’t even free for the price I paid for the room I am dissatisfied and I would not recommend staying here!!

Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are large and equipped with a coffee machine, mini fridge and save as well as TV and USB ports. The bathroom is also great, with a large shower and, as is often the case, you can hardly turn around.Valet parking (48 dollars per night) is also very reasonable since, as in all cities, parking options are very limited. Breakfast is offered in the hotel restaurant and check out at 12:00 is also quite convenient. We would definitely recommend it to everyone.

Very friendly. Bathroom lighting is really poor. Blackout blinds were great! Couldn't hear noise from the hallway (win). Food was great.

They let me check into a room with a malfunctioning shower head. After a long cross country flight, the least I wanted to do was freshen up before a professional conference. The shower doesn't run water at all. After calling the front desk, they nonchalantly told me their engineers are gone for the day and they can't help me and just hung up. No use being a Marriott Bonvoy member here, this place is awful.

We loved our stay at the Renaissance! Friendly and welcoming team, beautiful room, in a great location. We especially loved the valet staff and appreciated Michael’s kindness and positive energy.

Most of the staff at this hotel are friendly and helpful. But the establishment has deteriorated a lot since my previous visit in 2021. The shower pressure was abysmal, the amenities in the room are creaky, room service didn’t pick up multiple calls, and overall for the skyhigh prices they charge the service and facilities are simply not worth it. Go somewhere else

Beautifully decorated rooms, very clean, comfortable bed and pillows. Great location with many restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Will definitely stay again.

Love every time I stay in Midtown for work. Their service is the best.

Guest services and restaurant employees at Rowdy Tiger were nothing but professional.Beware they only accept credit card as payment, and you cannot pay for your reservation in advance - my supervisor was supposed to pay for my stay, for a work conference, but when I arrived I was asked to pay! What if I hadn't had the money on my credit card at that time? I would have been totally screwed. There was no indication on the website when I made my reservation that by entering my supervisor's credit card, that it was not actually the payment for the room. Put this on your website! Make it clear! Thank goodness I happened to have enough money in my credit account or else I'd have had to find somewhere else to sleep!Got up to our room and the room STANK like pee. Like, the smell hit us in the face as soon as we opened the door. It was awful. That and the humidity in the room was a horrible combination, the smell was so awful. We went to the market down the street to buy Lysol spray because the smell of urine was unbearable and made me sick to my stomach. I sprayed the Lysol everywhere and the smell went away - proving my point that there literally was pee on the floor somewhere that was never properly cleaned. What do they mop with, just water? Whatever they use, if they mop at all, it didn't work because my Lysol sure did.The water in the tub/shower never got hot. More like, lukewarm, or body temperature at best. It was barely warm, not your typical warm bath or warm shower either. The tub itself wasn't correctly renovated - I saw what looked like the piece below the tub faucet not properly screwed on, so I went to screw it properly, and it turned out that the silver piece wasn't even attached at ALL to that pipe opening and there was nothing to thread/screw onto. What the h3ll! They didn't even put some silicone caulk on it to stick it on there - it was just sitting there, completely detached. Poor renovating. There was no fan in the bathroom. We tried both light switches and there was never an air vent fan in there. That seems like a bare minimum for bathrooms, because of the moisture in the air from showering and obviously for smells. There are a couple vents in the bathroom but no fan motor running, so...I'm guessing the fans were not wired up with the light switches to turn on.The windows also didn't open (didn't have the ability to open at all) which would have really helped with air circulation since there was no bathroom ventilation. All night long after it rained, there was water dripping onto the window sill on the outside of the window. It kept both of us up ALL night. Drip. Drip-drip... Drip. Drip-drip-drip... Drip. Drip...drip-drip... all night long. It was loud too, not like something you would have to listen for, to notice it. Pretty sure that water dripping is a recognized form of TORTURE by the CIA, right? Well, we were tortured because we hardly slept due to that sound. The people were nice and the Rowdy Tiger restaurant was great! But we would NOT stay here or recommend this hotel because of the poor renovation job, lack of truly warm water in the shower, no air ventilation and circulation for the rooms, poor housekeeping because it reeked of urine when we arrived, and the water from up higher dripping onto the window sill with no way to open the window and put a washcloth out there to stop it from hitting the cement and being so loud. It wasn't even raining btw so that was just water runoff from the roof and higher floors.Food & drinks: Highly recommend the Rowdy Tiger restaurant. Prices were reasonable for the midtown area compared with other restaurants. The food was really good! The service was professional and friendly.

I liked the location. It felt pretty safe. They are very quick to maintainance requests!! If you enjoy city view, then you'll enjoy staying there! The associates at the front desk are very kind and helpful to visitors!! Overall, I would recommend this place.

No concierge lounge, with abysmal points offering as substitute. Breakfast service, food sub-par. Long wait time for car valet for early morning flight. Overall a disappointment, particularly for a Renaissance property. Room was the bright spot, with restaurant options nearby.
