Deli team needs a class on customer service and should probably take the time to train their staff on their menu items. There's no reason that I should have to explain a menu item to the team. And if the team doesn't know their own menu then at the very least they should have a teachable spirit and impeccable customer service. But that is not the case at this particular Publix I came to order a sub the sandwich maker didn't know what the menu item was and then proceeded to argue with me over every ingredient I attempted to add. In the end I left with no sandwich and disgusting taste in my mouth from the experience. Drive a little down the road and just go to the Brookhaven Publix.

+1 star because they typically have my prescriptions; +1 star because they are humans that are alive and working behind the desk; -3 because they’re quite clearly miserable, and I’m rarely met with kindness.

Extremely slow. They do not fill prescriptions in a timely manner. I dropped off a written prescription for basic medications and was told it would be an hour to be completed. This was at 12pm. I have gotten no updates since so I called at 2:30pm and they’re closed for lunch until 3. Go anywhere but here. So disappointed.

Not sure why the rating is so low, but I've been picking up prescriptions here for years and always found them very helpful. And nice. just got a flu shot . keep up the great work.

Taray is the best! He works in the deli and is always so pleasant and personable when I get a sub. His personality is so great! This Publix is always clean and always has great customer service. Never have issues here.

This pharmacy is extremely incompetent and rude. I came up here twice got the same prescription they SAID was filled. Second time I came, I was given the wrong medication then it took rocket science to correct it. The actual pharmacist is so rude and barely helps people. Do yourself a favor & go somewhere else.

So I'm writing this review after just leaving Publix. I haven't even put the groceries up yet. This store is designed differently so it can take some time getting used to, but after your 3rd or 4th trip it becomes routine. The purpose of this review are the customers who frequent this store. The store is stocked, clean, has many product offerings, and I love the prepared food section, but the energy in the store has very strong, VERY STRONG undertones of racism. Some will read this and say, WTF, why is everything about race, and I will say to them, "You don't understand it". I'm more of a Kroger guy, and since I moved in, I frequent this store because I can get to it quickly with back roads. EVERYTIME I visit this store I feel like eyes are lurking on me. The residents who I assume live in the area as well have asked me 3x's since I moved in the area If I have put out of place items in an area.... I get stares, rolled eyes. I am not joking! Today a very small situation happened where I stopped to simply talk to a friend that called my name and a mother with her cart walked by us and gave the most disgusted look because she had to go around, as if we were causing trouble! I felt so nervous, starting sweating and hurried up and got out the damn store. I don't want to go to deep or off track, but this is why I cannot support this movement of Buckhead City. I'm 100% sure it comes from a very bad place! A piece of me feels it's unfair to leave a 1 star review due to customers, as that's out of their control, however this is for any minority, specifically black people that move in the area to be advised about this store, and to see this review. I know Buckhead is going through a rough time crime wise but I can assure you it's not every black person you see!

Pros: convenient location on Peachtree near other shopping and strip mall food places. Big parking lot but it somehow can get full! Some of the staff I see regularly are very nice and want to help. Store is clean and has a decent selection of a brand stuff. There is also a small pharmacy inside. Cons: homeless outside the store and sometimes in the store. I don't blame them for being there because it is a city problem! Busy area, all day every day. Prices are kind of high. Maybe it is bc it is Buckhead. I don't feel I am getting a deal unless the food is about to expire.
