Very disappointed in the staff we encountered at this location. After getting out of outpatient surgery late my husband and I headed to the closest open pharmacy to get his rx filled. It was 10 minutes before closing and the two employees said they could not help us. One person closed the security gate in my face. They said we could go to a 24 hour pharmacy and I asked where that was. They were mistaken and there were not 24 hour pharmacies but stores that open 24 hours and the pharmacy closes earlier. We ended up going to the ER to get proper meds- which was unnecessary. I understand that this Publix pharmacy is a retail place but they are in the business of helping people. The lack of care is concerning.

Had to let the pharmacy go. They can’t seem to keep anything in stock anymore. Nice people, but I need my meds.

More than one star for the pharmacist who actually helps customers, which is likely Erica. Just got off the phone with the Pharmacy manager. Medication has been back-ordered for over a month. I’ve switched my medication twice due to difficulty filling prescriptions since I started to bring my prescription to this location. I stopped by last weekend and the group I ran into was not very helpful when I attempted to be proactive given the difficulty I had last month getting my full prescription filled. They told me my medication is still back-ordered.I called the pharmacist tonight because my doctor was willing to help me get my prescription filled prior to my trip out of town next week. I have a 2-day window to fill this prescription before I go out of town to CT (Friday and Saturday) given the fact I am out of town currently. I explained everything to the pharmacist and how I’ve already discussed the circumstances with my doctor. The pharmacy manager said it’s their discretion and they will not fill my prescription a day early, knowing I forfeited 5 days of medication given the difficulty filling earlier this month. I would be fine without taking that 5 day cut.“Pharmacist’s discretion” is the reason cited as to why the pharmacist would not accommodate my reasonable request after I told her my doctor could send a digital prescription tomorrow, which would solve all my worries about running out of medication by next Tuesday, 29 days after filling my prescription for 25 days rather than 30. Not “it’s illegal,” as it most certainly is not. “Pharmacist’s discretion” while being fully aware of the difficulty I’ve had. So even if they have the capacity to fill the prescription tomorrow, they won’t. Even though I wouldn’t be able to actually pick the prescription up until Friday.I can walk into any other pharmacy and fill my prescription without any questions. If I filled my previous prescription with another pharmacy outside of Publix, I would be able to fill my prescription tomorrow. But because this pharmacy manager likes to act like a doctor and has no regard for customer loyalty, I cannot. Despite my doctor approving this and my insurance covering this. This pharmacy manager makes up rules arbitrarily. I’m a black male with a controlled substance prescription. They treat me like a criminal, and have done it on multiple occasions. Limited patience. Limited accommodations. No empathy. And any pushback on arbitrary rules is met with scorn.Using discretion is fine. But under these circumstances, I cannot fathom why this pharmacist was almost giddy about telling me no/we won’t/pharmacist discretion, throwing it in my face when I tried to explain, and prolonging my worry and suffering related to the prospect of running out of medication on a work trip—this shouldn’t happen. My suggestion to this pharmacy manager is that if she wants to treat patients there is a school for that. If she wants to use her discretion relative to patient care there is a school for that. But stay out of the way until then. I’m not asking her to break the law, I’m simply asking her to fill my prescription and take my money. I don’t get it.

Thanks for not preparing my online order again! I ordered a sandwich for pickup at 7:40, I come to the store at 8:00, and it wasn't prepared. Gary I come back at 8:40 and it still was not prepared. Do not offer an online option for ordering sandwiches if you're going to ignore the tickets!

By far the best Publix. I go here multiple times a week and they are very consistent. The manager Jamie is the best I. The business. The staff handling the meats has never let me down and customizes my meat with no issues if asked. The cashiers are amazing and God bless the hot meal staff. The staff handling sandwiches is slammed and they move the crowd quickly as they can. I see a lot of people come in with attitudes which means they are not able to be pleased no matter what. Quite a few reviews by this type. No there is no 7pm time that the parking lot turns into a weed smoking area. There is armed police security in the front door. Lastly, don't forget the movie theater attendees float down there afterwards and can congregate near there. If you've ever worked in grocery store, you'll realize what they have to put up with. Lots of high schoolers who, allow me to say, have a lot of maturity to put up with the insane requests and comments they field daily. This is a very clean and organized store. It takes 2 hours every night for the staff to bring it back to order daily after people scatter everything a day long.

I want to start by saying I love Publix. It is my favorite place to shop by far. I once went at 7am and it was like the happiest place on earth! It is the main reason this isn't a 1-star review. That being said, the deli at the Madison Yards Publix is making me want to start shopping at the just-a-bit-futher-down Kroger. I am now required to order a lunch sub an hour before I plan to eat as it's never ready in the 30-35 minutes they tell you. Even then, my experience is usually that it's not out waiting for me to pick up and go, sometimes it's still not ready, and occasionally completely the wrong sandwich. Sometimes I'll want to pick up a Rotisserie chicken and that's a gamble unto itself. There is apparently a 3-hour window you can pick one up (between 2-5 seems to be the sweet spot). When you do have to talk to an employee behind the counter for something, when they're not gossiping with other employees in the store, it is like watching paint dry. I won't go too much into that, but let's just say, they definitely do not care about making the line move. I don't complain and when I do leave reviews, I like to do so when they're positive (I have never given anything but 5 star reviews for Uber drivers) so the fact that I'm doing this tells you something.

There is always a very long line at the deli, and usually one or two people who are working slow. Management needs to do something about this. It's very frustrating for everybody in line. Get the employees who are fast to work in this department!

Calvin in the deli deserves 5+ stars! He made seven subs in the same time his coworker made one ( literally). It took another worker 15-20 minutes to make one sub. On the other hand, Calvin handled the online orders and the line; helping cut it down.I'm giving the store three stars due to the fact that I had to wait an extra hour for my online ordered sub to be made. Despite Calvin working hard to fulfill orders, I still wish it was ready at my chosen time.

Bye far the slowest sandwich line in history... the staff wasn't working with no sense of urgency. I got the feeling that they were hoping ppl would just hop out the line. I was thinking Ashton Kutcher was gonna jump out and tell me I was being PUNK'D

Ordering sandwich online is almost always 45 mins after pickup time, they should be able to model the pickup time better so people don't waste their time

Very friendly and efficient pharmacy. I've never had a single issue while juggling many prescriptions here. There are many pharmacies on the way to this one but I choose them because they're a treat. Thank you!

This was a great addition to the area when it first opened. However now it has simply turned into a hangout to smoke pot in the parking lot. Go anytime after 7p and it's simply cars parked smoking pot. The store is clean and well stocked, but doesn't really make up for the parking lot.
