This was the WORST experience I’ve ever had in storing my furniture. Roaches, customer services, ghetto people, trash all over the parking lot, you can ONLY come during business hours I mean the list goes on!!! I will NEVER use HOOD public storage ever again. I’d rather pay a higher rate then deal with this!

No one ever answers the phone!!! Or returns your call when it is imperative. Also times I’ve been up there, there wasn’t an employee on properly during office hours.

The people are great however I can't get access to my storage unit although paid; the public storage app is a failure for automatic gate pass through, two days in a row, somebody fell asleep.

I've had a unit at this location for 3 years .The staff is super helpful. The location is convenient. It's easily accessible if you're moving large items. 10/10 overall experience

I needed to store some of expensive electronics. I contacted public storage to inquire about availability and hours. I was advised there was availability at the Northside Drive location and the latest I would be able to access the facility is 9:00 pm. I rented the storage unit and began moving the equipment into the unit. I arrived at the unit for my second trip at 7:20. I was unable to gain access. I contacted the customer service number and spoke with a customer service representative. I was advised the actual access hours were from 6 am to 6 pm. I informed the customer service representative I had been advised the access hours were from 6 am until 9 pm and that not being able to access the storage unit was most unfortunate, because I had no place else to place the second load of electronics. The customer service representative became extremely rude and short and advised me I had received and email indicating the hours were from 6 am to 6 pm. I asked to speak with a supervisor. A supervisor came on the line. She said her name was Kandice. She was even ruder than the original customer service supervisor. She also told me I had been sent an email reflecting the 6-6 hours , eventually, after I asked for the name of her supervisor, she rudely hung up on me. I have been a public storage customer for less than 5 hours and won’t be a long term customer. The call center apparently sees the customers as not worth taking the time to speak with and this company does not stand by the representations they make. Get your free month and clear out, it’s not worth the disrespect demonstrated by Kandice in escalations or the equally rude original customer service representative.

I've had this storage for months and they increased my rent without notice more than $60 when I called them ask why they only dropped it by a few dollars still way too much.

When staff answer phone they basically tell you that as long as you get here before my lunch you can come to get the items you won in auction smh ??♀️ it’s just the way you talk to people like common courtesy goes a long way I’m just saying. And it’s in the after noon you tell a person long as you here before 6 because we close at that time if we calling in the afternoon to see if it’s okay to come now it was no need to mention nothing about 6pm I’m just saying

I did my reservation online, which made the process so much more easier. When I arrived at the unit, I was pleasantly surprised to find it indoors, clean, AND air conditioned! My only con was when opening the unit, the door wouldn't stay up but just rolled and slammed back down on its on. so I either have to have someone hold it or prop it open with something. Other then that customer service were helpful, nice, and I appreciate each one of them! Thanks!!

I've been at this storage place for about a year now and have no problems with them plus the location is great with easy access 7 days a week
