Lance is the owner of the shop. I’ve known him for more than two years. He is friendly, easygoing guy and most of all he is very professional, reliable and always thinking on the customer side to get a better result. I really appreciate he and the team taking care of my car and I will strongly recommend this auto repair shop with very accessible location, excellent service and much affordable price to my friends or anyone who may need help with their cars. Lance truly went above and beyond to help repair my car / perform an oil change. I cannot speak highly enough of him. I am absolutely thrilled with the outcome of using Professional Auto Repair- which is an extremely unusual experience when picking up your car from the shop. Because of Lance and his kindness, I will be a customer for life. I would highly recommend using Professional Auto Repair to anyone and everyone.

I would be mindful of the up charge here
I had my car towed to them. When I talked to them on the phone, they said they would check with me before doing anything and if my car was unable to be fixed they charge me $60 for the estimate.
When the price of $700 to get my sparks fixed seemed very high, I requested to get my car towed as my dad wanted a second opinion.
When I informed them of this, it was now $120 for me to get it off their property. When asked why, the man got upset and explained they had done work checking everything, even though I originally was informed this would be $60.
It seemed like a bitter petty move charging me that because I wanted to go somewhere else. Would not recommend.
Also the man on the phone was extremely condescending and mixed me up with his other customers cars and their car issues.
EDIT: I see the company’s response which I understand. However, the issue is the principal of telling someone an amount and then all of sudden changing it. This company should be honest about the amount they will charge in the future, then telling a customer an amount and then changing it without approval, when that customer chooses to go somewhere else.

At least stick to your business hours so I don’t waste my time getting a ride here to pick up my car to find out you’re now closed early on a normal business day. Now I have to go without my car the whole weekend?Edit: I was able to reach Lance after business hours and he agreed to meet me at the shop so I can get my car back for the weekend. That was helpful but I still wasted money on Uber/Lyft to and from the shop which frustrates me.

Took me awhile to find a mechanic in Atlanta; tried 3 or 4 places and got the run around.I like Lance at P.A.R. He shoots it straight and doesn’t try to oversell me on BS repairs. Always takes care of me.

I recently took my Nissan Altima here after my car was driving funny the day before. I like read reviews to find a reliable and honest place. I originally just wanted a diagnosis and then I was going to fix it myself. They came back to tell me that the noise was my wheel hub and that it needed replaced. He said the part was $240, labor was $300 and $98 for brakes. I told him I did not need my brakes done and he told me that I had 10% left because my wheel hub was grinding it down, that did not make any sense to me cause it would not affect it in that way. I did not get the brakes changed. I still paid $588 to get my hub fixed. I chose to have them fix it cause it was most convenient, even though I thought it was too much. Afterwards I found the part myself for so much cheaper and I had the tools to do it. When I went back to pay the guy told me my brakes actually ended up looking good, like I assumed. I feel as if I was lied to and scammed and now my wheel is still making noise. Make sure you do your research and trust your gut.

My car needed new spark plugs on a tight timeline due to upcoming travel I had planned. After calling a few shops that weren’t so accommodating, I tried Professional Automotive Repair and I’m so glad I did. Lance got my car in and diagnosed same day and it was ready for pickup early the next morning so that I could get on the road. The communication was great, price was fair, and my car is running like new. I’m so thankful for these guys and definitely recommend this shop!

We were leaving Atlanta to go home to Raleigh when we started having transmission problems. We were lucky enough to exit right at Professional Automotive. They could have easilt taken advantage of our situation and tell us we needed an expensive transmission repair, and we wouldn't have known the difference. They told us we had a small transmission leak, and if we would keep it filled, we would make it home ok. To make a long story short, these guys are really honest and if you live in Atlanta, you're very lucky to have them available if you need honest mechanics.Service: Transmission

Lance and his team are fantastic. I've had them work on my 2013 car and my 1980 truck, and they've done great work every time, no matter the problem.
