Was flying through Atlanta today to visit with my family for the first time in 6 months. It's been incredibly difficult, I caught my wife cheating with a bartender from our hometown bar. She told me she did it because after seeing my Denver Donkeys be emasculated by the Raiders for the 8th straight game I could not serve as a man anymore. I left to go back to Denver to spend time with my fellow Donkey Superfans and some close friends that are big whiner fans. They have all experienced some similar situations, especially the whiner ones. Well I am going to change all of this thanks to this Popeyes. I ordered a 6 piece spicy chicken tender box combo with a Coke Zeroand 3 blackened ranches. I was initially discouraged because the line was long, people wanted their Pops before watching the SNF game. I was worried I wouldn't be able to enjoy some delicious tendies before having to leave Atlanta. However I was amazed with the speed at which I was served. Perhaps the same speed I should've exhibited to save my marriage. I explained my situation to the young gentlemen at the register. Although I held up the line for 20 minutes he listened to me (even with his AirPods in) and made me feel like a person. I then got a platter of delicious hot and spicy Popeyes tendies, fries, and a biscuit. The tenders were soft and supple like my Mother-in-law's breasts. The fries were crispy and cooked to a golden brown. But all paled in comparison to the true star of this show... the blackened ranch. I chose this sauce because when my wife told me she was meeting other men she mentioned she got a new job with a website. I believe it was Blacked.com or perhaps Blackened.com I wanted to get this sauce to sample some of their fine product so I had something to talk to her about to break the ice. This sauce is so perfectly tangy yet spicy and a perfect compliment to not only the spicy tendies but also the fries. Nothing like finishing it off with the biscuit! Thank you Popeyes Atlanta Airport Staff and Cooks, y'all have changed my life. I look forward to getting my wife back!

I love it when there's a tasty meal option when you arrive in the ATL. Although it's in the B Terminal, best bet would be to have a long enough layover to get it and be on your way to your final destination. I remembered that there was a Popeyes at the Hartsfield-Jackson international airport on my most recent trip and had a layover here. I flew into Terminal B and walked on over to grab me a helpin' of Popeyes before having to walk over to Terminal A for my flight home. With that in mind, it was nice of me to remember and the simplicity of it all was good. The line wasn't too long and I got to spend about 10 minutes or so from ordering to pick up. I don't know if they did family meals here, but I ended up getting a 4 piece meal spicy and it was fun and good. The lady at the front of the line asked me for my order and then, I proceeded to pay for my meal and pick up my order and drink cup. After all that, I filled up my drink cup from their fountain drink dispense system and I was on my way. It is nice to have this location in the heart of the airport for travelers who want that southern comfort during their time here in Atlanta, including myself, and not have to venture outside of the airport to get some. The only thing was that it was just standing room only, without tables and chairs for people to sit. The overall experience here at this Popeyes location in the Hartsfield-Jackson international airport (ATL) was as simple as it can be. Get in, order, pick up, fill drink, and leave. Doesn't get more simpler than that. The service could have been a little bit more improved, but I guess when you're trying to get the line moving at a slow but comfortable pace, you got to prod the line accordingly. The fried chicken is good, of course, but I preferred the sides. I actually had the cajun rice, which was heavenly, and also the cajun fries. Also good and delicious. The difference between many other fried chicken places and Popeyes, is that it just isn't fried chicken, but it's flavored fried chicken - especially the spicy version. The ideal time for spicy chicken is fresh off the rack, which is what I did after getting to my gate in terminal A. It was nice to be able to sit down at the gate and eat in a busy terminal. I had unsweetened ice tea as my drink. For the most part though, knowing that Popeyes is here in the airport solves a lot of guessing in the food department, especially when you arrive at the same terminal as the restaurant location is. And so, if you crave Popeyes, know that there is a location in the ATL airport. Whether you're coming in or leaving, there's a spot here in Terminal B to get your fried chicken fix satisfied. This Popeyes location is located in Terminal B in the Hartsfield-Jackson international airport. The only way you can get access to this location is if you're a member of the traveling public or someone who works for any merchant, civil, or governmental entity in the airport. They accept major credit cards, which is a good thing as well as cash. As far as parking goes, ATL has plenty of paid parking lots to meet your needs. Whether your arriving to ATL or leaving ATL, having a parking garage for your ride is good. There's always Uber and Lyft to suit your needs. I don't think I have ever taken public transportation to and from ATL airport, but if you do, consider the route(s) that are preferrable for your situation. The enjoyment of the sides are usually more important to me than the fried chicken itself. I do enjoy the cajun rice, which they discontinued in Hawaii locations. Which is why I probably need to travel to get some. The mac & cheese is good too. The cajun fries is good and the mash potatoes is spot on. While not the healthiest by far, it's one of the places you can get once in a while. 4.0 stars for the overall experience. 5.0 stars for the location if you are laying over in ATL. 3.0 stars for the service and prices. Support local! B

Lady with hair braided up in a ponytail very rude. Should be holding a mop and not working a register. The airport is the wrong place for you

I WILL NEVER GO BACK The sign says they open at 6am, they were behind the counter at 7am, but didn't open until they were "ready" at 7:30am. You are greeted at the "hostess" stand by a depressed woman asking what you'd like to eat, then she hands you a number and tells you to wait in the next line. At the checkout counter, the cashier again asks what you'd like to eat...not sure why this first person was needed at all and her demeanor made me never want to go back. I ordered a combo meal with a coffee and received my food after a few minutes, but was told the coffee would be another 5 minutes, which I didn't have. How did they have an extra hour and a half to prepare, but couldn't have coffee? I WILL NEVER GO BACK

My experience at this location was rather disappointing. I ordered 2 wings only (not the combo) and was shocked to receive only two tiny wings, which certainly didn’t justify the price. The portion was disappointingly small, leaving me unsatisfied! The overall service level left much to be desired as well.

This is a restaurant in the busiest airport in the world. Adjust your expectations accordingly. The food is standard Popeyes fare, which is good. I got the spicy blackened chicken sandwich, red beans and rice, and biscuit. The bad is that there are no tables for eating your meal. Carry your meal to a gate area and eat there. Eating at a restaurant in the center of the concourse would alleviate this awkward inconvenience. The service was fine for what it is. At least they don’t ask for a tip for take out like some places.Overall, this is a reasonable option for airport food. There is a Popeyes in Concourses B & D off to one side. You will have to search to find them.

There was a very rude worker taking orders, when I asked if they had Polynesian sauce she said "This ain't chick-fila". After that rude interaction I decided to go to to Asian Chow right across from Popeyes, and the customer service was amazing there, and the food was great! Try the burbon chicken and definitely avoid that rude girl over there

While waiting for my flight, I stopped at this restaurant; the queue was long, but the service was excellent. Employees were swift, patient, and creative in collecting orders in line such that when you arrived to the counter, your meal was ready. They may make mistakes since things might get chaotic, but they do assist. I got the 5 piece spicy tender combo with fries, a biscuit, and a drink (strawberry fanta), as well as an apple pie. My food was excellent for an airport location; my tenders were well-fried, my portion of crispy fries was filling, my biscuit was soft and went well with the honey and jelly given, and my apple was hot, sweet, and generously dusted with cinnamon sugar. The separate drink station and the opportunity to obtain a water cup were also excellent.

I fly through Atlanta about 3 or 4 times a year. This was BY FAR the quickest I have ever ordered and gotten my food from any other place I've eaten here. I don't know if I got lucky, but it was less than 5 minutes from my order to having it in my hand.

This Popeyes slaps so hard. Juiciest tenders I've ever had. Airport Popeyes is the superior

Long wait in the morning & not an actual chicken biscuit but rather a (very sad, small) biscuit with 2 chicken tenders inside. Not spicy even though that was what I ordered. Chicken slightly undercooked since they were in a rush. Honey & grape jelly were pretty runny - overall would get breakfast from somewhere else when in the airport

We ate here on 8/8/23 during our layover. Let me just say, the service was AWFUL. The employees are rude and obviously do not want to be there. The woman working the drink counter was especially rude. After paying, the cashier told us to go to the drink counter for our two drinks that we ordered. The cashier had already made the other employee aware of what we needed. When we got to the counter, the worker looked at us like we were stupid and proceeded to throw her arms up in the air as if she didn't know why we were even standing there. I was definitely shocked by her behavior and attitude towards us.The setup of the restaurant is also a little weird. There's a line for ordering, and then you have to get into another line to pay and get your food. The woman taking orders was also pretty insufferable. The food itself was fine, but I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody because of the service (or lack thereof). There are plenty of other options in the airport to take your business to.

Terrible customer service

Absolutely disgusted at the service. There was a lady demanding we order outside of the restaurant. If we didn’t know what to order, she found customers that knew their order and put them in front of us. We could not even see the menu. When we told her this, in a sarcastic tone she barked chicken and chicken tenders. Such poor customer service. I am appalled at their behavior. They spoke with such venom to their customers. Corporate needs to investigate because they are losing business. We’ll never be back.
