Planet Fitness is an okay gym option if you’re looking for something affordable and no-frills. The facilities are generally clean, and the equipment is decent for basic workouts. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is non-intimidating, which is great if you’re just starting out with fitness.
However, the equipment variety is pretty limited, especially if you’re into weightlifting, and it can get quite crowded during peak hours. Also, the “lunk alarm” policy may not appeal to everyone, as it restricts certain exercises or louder workout styles.
Overall, it’s a solid, budget-friendly choice, but if you’re looking for a more comprehensive gym experience, you might find yourself wanting more.

Teneshia the manager made me feel so uncomfortable I’ve been coming here for over 5 months for my mental health to get a goood workout, tan, and hydromassage in. She was very rude when I couldn’t immediately find my eyewear to show her and said I couldn’t have my purse beside me where I worked out even though the lockers in the locker room don’t lock. It has ruined my experience at planet fitness which used to be my mental health safety zone.

This place constantly smelled like weed in the locker rooms. I went to cancel my membership IN PERSON like they advised, and they said that it was canceled. However, I got a charge 1 month later. After calling and asking about it- they said it was never canceled and I would have to come in AGAIN and cancel. I had already moved away from that location, and they said there was not another option.

Angel B was incredible! So professional and beyond patient with all of my questions! She was very knowledgeable and didn’t hover over me, I genuinely felt so comfortable and it felt great receiving great customer service!
The facility was also so clean! 10/10 would recommend!!!

Using this PF as we are visiting friends. This place is huge! Tons of new machines and different ones than our normal gym has. The staff is friendly. Nice big fans in cardio area but the back rooms get crazy hot.

My current PF is closed due to renovations, so I've been going to different PF's around Atlanta for the fun of it.
This location is by far one of the best. It's big, with plenty of equipment. Of the two times I went, I didn't see any broken machines, which is normally a problem with PF (as machines can normally be down for weeks at a time at other locations).
My experience is sans employee interaction, but they seem nice.
It's definitely worth the extra 12 minute drive, more than double my normal commute. I'll be returning to this location occasionally even after my normal PF reopens.

If you have a classic membership, you can only go to the club where you bought it. Today I came to a club in another area and was denied entry. I was horrified - then there is no point in taking this network - for the same money you can take LA fitness and there you have a pool, spa, sauna, etc.
In general, I really don’t recommend PF.
