i love this planet fitness! i’m a truck driver & i prefer to shower at gyms than truck stops more safer & more comfortable for me they have always treated me with respect always greeted me i mean always this is my favorite one i will go out of my way just to come to this one trust me the employees does an outstanding job no bad days! i love the management if anything were to change i wouldn’t come ! especially the female worker with the curtly hair (don’t know her name) is the best she is always doing her job will stop anything she’s doing to greet you always make sure the woman’s locker is clean& always have a smile i give i guys credit for hiring her she outstanding!!!! omg thank youuuu

I came tonight for the first time in probably a year or more to use the treadmill. I kid you not - I had to try more than 10 treadmills before I found one that worked properly. Who is the owner of this location? I tried to tell the staff member, but understandably she spoke no English. This is unacceptable for all the users of this gym. Fix your equipment. I’ll be cancelling my membership unless it improves. This used to be a great location.

I have been trying to cancel membership for 2 months. I have traveled on multiple occasions for more than 45 minutes and they always tell me that the "manager is not in the gym". Furthermore, they never want to give me the name of that manager or at least tell me what times they will be there.
The worst customer service I have ever seen.

Several cable machines do not have attachment, so that makes it impossible to use them. Both seated row, adjustable cable, triceps pressdown, etc. This has been ongoing since I joined in December 2023. I go early in the morning to avoid the crowd, but if the machines are out of service, it does me no good. There is also a recumbent bike and more than one treadmill that have been down for months. Very poor maintenance of equipment.

This Planet Fitness is conveniently located and the front desk staff is friendly. Overall, the staff works hard to keep the place clean and are responsive to requests. The patrons on an average day are polite and respectful to each other. Since I started coming here 4 months ago I have seen multiple maintenance issues that aren’t being addressed. I am an early morning gym goer so I haven’t met the facility manager. I have sent an email detailing the issues. It all seems like simple stuff to fix - it’s as simple as actually doing it. Examples : The cable pull station is missing 6 carabiners so all the stations can’t be used properly. There is a bench in the locker room missing bolts on one side so it is unstable. 2 of the 4 shower stalls have clogged drains and the shower handles are loose. There is a leg extension machine that is broken but no sign and nothing fixed in over a month. Overall the staff is great. The facility needs some maintenance and attention paid to upkeep to keep people safe.
**Update : this gym seems to be getting worse before it is getting better. The weight machines were fixed, but there seems to be a stop missing on the leg extension machine. The carabiners are missing from the cable pull stations again. (Staff should use the cameras to see who is taking them.) The handicap toilet in the men’s room has been out of order for 2 weeks. The water fountain has been out of order for a week. The men’s locker room showers have handles that are falling off, slow drains, and seem to always have water outside the showers making the floors slick. I am only coming to this gym because it’s convenient to my work, but definitely looking for a better maintained option.

Revised Review. I frequent the gym and haven’t found anything to complain about, such as the manager, assistant manager, Ken, or the 3rd shift staff. I have seen that the best time is at night when the immature, problematic staff is not working. The 3rd shift is chill and relaxing. They’re mature and professional, too. I originally wrote a 5-star review because I respect the manager. He is excellent and sincere, ensuring customers have a great experience. My conscience would not permit me to say all the staff is fantastic. I dread going now except if I have no choice and I’m in the area.
I originally had an issue with a staff member for no reason; he was rude. The manager resolved the problem, and everything was back on track. Shortly after, I had other issues which caught me by surprise. I use the massage chair when I use the gym, and if no one is waiting, I ask to use it again. Quickly, this particular staff member started giving me the attitude like “ use it once and that’s all- go” type of attitude. One day the massage chair was not being used and the gym was fairly empty; but as soon as I could get out the chair to ask again he told me he was resetting the chairs/ beds. In all the time I’ve attended the gym it was never reset while I was there. I asked him if there is a certain time they reset the chairs because I knew he was lying. He told me no, but It will take 30 mins to reset. I left the gym but returned back without going to my car. The chairs were no longer being reset so I asked him if it was done? He told me “no” and reset the chairs again. I decided to wait hoping he would realize he was being petty and poverty minded. After, over 30 mins. I just left. I knew I had to speak with the manager the next time I saw him. I asked the manager do they reset chairs/ bed while in use or during the day and was told “No” I have nothing but respect for the manager. on another occasion the same guy ask someone if he can help them and all he was doing is plugging in a headphone to charge for the customer, I knew he was going to drag it out because I was waiting for the chair. So, I had to walk around to get someone else to do it who was leaving and he had to tell the other person who was starting the shift to do it. All the while the idiot is still playing around asking like it he can’t plug in the headphones. The customer had to them come around to plug it up. All of this is a stall tactic. Its the tall light skin guy who looks like he is disengaged and don’t want to be there with his arms folded. I will say when I go to the gym I experience discomfort seeing these staff members. It’s no longer a relaxing feel. You know when they been talking among themselves about situations. They project the same attitude. It’s more relaxing for me to just so to go to another location for a better experience. If I ask to use chair 9, they just put me on 8. So I have to go back and ask again, then they will say “I set chair number 8 for you-I will have to explainchair #9 feel better for my back. I have to see they make a face like I’m annoying. Who in the hell have time for this. Customers do not want to engage with them. It’s simply not the reason we signed up for membership. I will use this gym as a last resort. The experience is what led to the finally decision is 80% the resetting and lying amount it. I’ve also saw where he talk to other customers nasty and that’s why I changed/moved my home gym location. The other 20% is because of the other staff members (other than the professional staff members I previously noted).
Again, The manager is friendly, professional and has excellent leadership skills.

Trying to find a WORKING treadmill in here that isn’t gross (either with gum, or crusty, or missing a cup holder) is like trying to find water in the desert. All these memberships and y’all still haven’t updated this gym? Y’all ain’t right. Thankfully this isn’t my home gym. But I feel bad for the patrons.
