Patrick is the best - he helped me find what the gift I needed for a friend, and all the accessories I needed. He's clearly very knowledgeable about their products [holy plants! so many] and is so happy to explain everything in a way that makes sense to someone without a green thumb.

These people are so rude . I gave them a chance to prove themselves but I was wrong a year later it’s the same thing. They are short with you and very sarcastic.
I’m not sure if it’s a racist thing or what, after all it is the south however, it’s as a mixed city and a blue state to say the least. I will not recommend this place and my client who is a very important person in the political world. I will shop around for better customer service.

Even though this location is closer to my house, I typically shop at the Pike’s Nursery in Druid Hills as my experience with staff at this location is consistently hit or miss. I almost left after a female staff member was dismissive and unknowledgeable when I asked her for recommendations for vegetable plants for my garden. She told me to just Google vegetables that could be planted in the fall because she couldn’t think of any off the top of her head. However, Marlene was friendly, approachable and highly knowledgeable. She took the time to walk me through the nursery and identify plants that were appropriate for my garden. Marlene deserved to be recognized for her excellent customer service.

Amazing selection of plants, everyone is very helpful plus shrubs and trees come with a lifetime warranty. This is the only place I buy plants.

Overall, my experience with this store has been mediocre. The staff is friendly and somewhat helpful. Unfortunately, some of the plants don't have the name of the plant on the label, especially the "decorative foliage" in 2-inch pots, which doesn't make sense. I would have loved to get a tiny lemon button fern for my terrarium, but it's hard to tell them apart from a regular Boston fern when they're small.
My main concern is the succulents, though. I've gotten succulents here two times, six months apart, and both times I found mealy bug pests on them. Luckily, I know how to get rid of them, but it's a lot of unnecessary time, effort, and money spent on pesticides that I shouldn't have to put in. Also, the staff people I talked to were not very knowledgeable about succulents in general. The plants often seem to be starved for light, over watered, and mis-labeled. I've gotten other plants here and never had a problem with pests or unhealthy plants, so I feel like it's just the succulents that aren't being cared for properly.

Love this location! They had the gorgeous dwarf peach I’ve been hunting for ages. The employees are so friendly, and made shopping with a wild toddler a beautiful experience. Robby in particular stole my kid’s heart. He let him play in the water, and gave him two tiny trucks to keep this hands busy so mom could shop. Thank you Robby, and to the other kind employees who make this Pike’s a trip worth taking!
