This isn’t a one-off complaint. I work with a company that has rented from Penske every month for 20 years. You can imagine how much money has been spent with them. The only reason the company works with Penske is because there aren’t that many rental truck companies.The Penske team is not competent at all. They never have my insurance on file despite renting from them every month. They regularly get truck rentals mixed up.The Penske team is not well-equipped to work with customers. Whenever they encounter a frustrating situation or challenge, they hangs up.If you are fortunate to have any other rental options, please work with those companies.

Worst location with inexperienced workers that takes money out of your account the next day! I will never rent from this location again beware. Titiana Denn claimed to be a supervisor when I called the company they said no supervisor works at that location which is a Home Depot. She took $151.49 another $144.25 plus $61.50 out of my account saying it was a mistake.

So my displeasure with this company is more so in the pricing than the customer service I received.The customer service was great. Everyone knew what was going on and got us out of there fast. When I needed to add a day to my reservation, I was able to do it late at night while I was out to dinner with zero fuss and it took only a few minutes.My complaint is how this company hides the fees involved with renting a truck. When I found the prices, they sounded too good to be true. So I reached out to the company via their online chat for clarity.The online chat only told me about the $150 deposit. Cool. I'm sure that would scare people away but it's not a problem for me.So imagine my surprise when I'm told upon arriving to pick up the truck that there is an ADDITIONAL fee for mileage. It turns out that you have to pay for the miles as well. That ended up being another 65 bucks that I didn't expect to pay before picking up the truck.The cost is not the biggest but it's the frustration of asking for all the details, getting those details, and realizing that there is more to the story.PENSKE! PLEASE STOP DOING THIS!If it wasn't so last minute, we would have gone elsewhere and I think y'all know that.Do better.

Received 3 extremely pushy sales calls within 16 hours of looking into their truck rental services. 3 calls in just over half a day's time?! After I repeatedly told them I needed more time to do my research and decide - they kept calling. Not a great way to do business...bullying your customers into making a reservation.

Unbelievably slow service. Sat in line for over 40 minutes behind one other person (who was also waiting). We came to pick up our truck as early as we possibly could—8:00—and we still ended up waiting an hour while the one service attendant did busy work. Makes no sense. Hire more people, have more working, whatever gets the job done.
