Another local shop refused to repair my shoes saying it couldn't be done. Took them here and not only did he take on the job but did it for a reasonable price and did a beautiful job.

Don't take your nice shoes to this place!! You'll be picking up ruined shoe!!! Completely incompetent, lousy work and irreparable damage.

The owner was very nice. Gave me an estimate on my repairs. I picked up my repaired item one week later. Would use them again.

Brought in a $750 pair of excellent condition mens Ferragamo loafers that needed a half soul and heel. Upon pick up, one of the half soles was not fully attached to the sole. He attempted to *********** after first saying he didnt know what I was talking about. He applied some glue and stain, and it looked even worse. They are unwearable. On the other shoe, I noticed the polishing wheel had damaged the leather on the sides. Sloppy work. He literally took that shoe back in spray painted due on it. It was still tacky to the touch when he gave it back to me. Refused to provide even a partial refund. Shoes are ruined.

Absolute gem! Old school shoe repair shop. Knowledgeable and prompt. Couldn't be any happier with the results of a much needed repair

I dropped my vintage Juicy Couture trunk off on a Monday requesting the wheel be repaired by Wednesday at 1p. He agreed and processed my $25 payment. I returned on Wednesday at 1:25p and he “claims” he was still working on the job and it would be ready in 1 hour. I do not live in the area and explained that I cannot come back in an hour. He then changed the ready time to 20 mins and when I pushed back he said 10 minutes. I do not recommend!Update: The “repair” done in 10 minutes consisted of him screwing 2 silver screws into the wheel and poorly spray painting them black. The spray paint was still wet when he gave me the trunk back

I wish I would have checked the reviews for this place before I took my items there. I assumed because of the location, the gentleman running the shop would be capable and qualified. This man ruined a $1,600 tote bag and then had the audacity to tell me it became damaged because it was not an authentic designer bag. I provided him a receipt from the store where it was purchased to authenticate it. He still refuses to acknowledge he damaged my bag. My only option now is to take him to small claims court. Which I will be.Do not go here if you want to get your items back in any kind of decent condition.

Very disappointed. I took my shoes to put another sole to protect the original one and end up ruining both of them cutting the straps and damaging the leather.

Ruined my shoes. Claimed it was Neiman Marcus fault?

I took my FAVORITE Salewa GTX hiking boots here for repair and paid in advanced. A week later I went back to pick up my boots and he absolutely destroyed my boots! He cut up a perfectly fine Vibram sole and attached a worn Cowboy boot heel to the bottom of my boots! He claimed I never paid and would not refund my money after destroying my shoes. Then tried to convince me this was a legitimate repair job. There are no words to describe my disappointment.

I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews. Especially the racist idiot who said he wished he "never took fire in their country rescuing their citizens". I assume the reviewer was in the Korean War. I've used them several times over the years. I've had shoes successfully re-soled. I blew out my favorite $140 Olukai flip flops. He charged me $14 to fix. I thought I'd have to bite the bullet and buy another pair. I didn't think there was a chance it could get fixed. He fixed it. They're honest, reliable, inexpensive and surprisingly fast.

He is rude and he didn't fix my shoe correctly. The pair is ruined.

I took a handmade leather envelope style bag to this man and asked him to stitch the corners (they needed about an inch of stitching on each of the top 2 corners). Simultaneously, I took a pair of leather shoes that needed A SINGLE STITCH on the top to secure the small leather bow tie. When I came back to pick them up, this man HAD GLUED my beautiful HANDMADE bag!!! AND WITH HIS SHODDY GLUE JOB, HE PERMANENTLY DAMAGED THE INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR OF MY BEAUTIFUL BAG. And with his SHODY. My bag that was totally hand sewn/handmade!!! His nasty glue is VERY visible all over the inside and outside of my handmade and fully hand stitched bag. In addition-- He did NOTHING to my shoes, and refused when I got there to make the single STITCH-- that the shoes needed on top--1 stitch into a slim leather tie-- that I had already paid for!! I PAID this MONSTER in advance-- to ruin my beautiful handmade handbag and TO NOT TAKE A SINGLE STITCH on my shoes! I assumed--wrongly--that with his location he was at least able to hand sew--as that is all that I needed. I paid him fully in advance--as he required. I am going to save my beautiful handmade bag that this monster ruined. I normally do not write negative reviews, but AFTER LOOKING THROUGH ALL HIS OTHER (negative) REVIEWS, I do see his incompetence/inability is THE NORM in his work. Please call me at 404-272-4462 and I will be happy to show you my handbag that he destroyed. I am an Atlanta native. And I HATE having liars, deceivers/imposters in our midst. In addition-- In reading ALL the NEGATIVE REVIEWS that this man has, I see he is identified as korean!!!! I did the airlifts out of korea!!! I actually had to spend time in his country-- under enemy fire!!! to get his people out. I am very upset that this UNGRATEFUL person is even IN MY COUNTRY--and that WE lost lives to have this deceitful person here. I totally believed at the time of the airlifts that I was helping good people. I am furious that he is allowed to conduct his deceitful 'bidness' in my country.

Quick, Good Quality, ExpensiveLooks like everyone here either gave a 1 star or 5 star review - no in between. So here's a more unbiased review. My backpack had both outer pocket zippers come off the "zipper track". So they were connected to only 1 side of the track and I couldn't zip up / close the outer pocket. The older gentlemen was able to fix it within 30 mins and as of now, the quality of repair seems great. The reason I give 4 stars is due to the price. He originally said $30 and I got it down to $25 but I find that really expensive for what I thought was a $10-$15 repair.
