“I have been using Catherine's for 10+ years for my Chevy. They do great work at a reasonable price, and everything is always clearly explained by Geornette. I know enough about cars to know that Geornette knows way more than I do, and she has a great way of explaining everything in plain English so I understand the work that needs to be done, the steps they want to take, and the expected cost. I find them to be quite conservative in recommending work as well. The technician produces a great report each time, but unless something really needs repairs, it's not flagged as an issue (unlike other places I've been where every little thing becomes a recommended repair, which inflates the bill).
I recently added a car to my fleet and tried to take it to a Mercedes specialist - big mistake. The repair estimate was over $1k for work that had already been done (that other garage wanted to redo it just in case it was done wrong the first time - seriously). I called Geornette and she got me in right away, listened to my concerns, and their team started diagnostics where the seller's garage had left off. They found a wiring issue that was much easier and less expensive to replace than the repairs suggested by the other shop. They are my heroes! Now I have two cars that I'll be taking here.”

Once, when I was about to take my old van on a long out of state trip on short notice, they were very concerned about a structural issue with the under-carriage, and prioritized performng that repair so I could make my deadline.i really appreciate having mechanics like them in our neighborhood.”

“Easily the best oil change experience I have had in Atlanta. I do not see myself going anywhere else for oil changes moving forward. Key & Brad were extremely prompt, friendly, helpful, and QUICK. My oil change took all of 6 minutes. They were extremely patient with me as I was having issues with my Apple Watch for payment. I also was very scatterbrained dealing with a personal matter at the time of my oil change and they were extremely patient with me and did not rush me at all, and did not become impatient or disgruntled with me at any point. This is one of the best experiences I have had with an auto shop and I will definitely be returning! Take 5 > All other drive thru shops. The prices are unbelievable. I no longer have to show up to Walmart at 6AM and hope to be first.”

Additionally, Richard and the team managed to replace metal valve caps on the Chevy Malibu, which two other shops in Chicago could not do. This level of service, backed by the team's expertise, made us feel secure and confident in our choice of Buckhead Tire & Auto Repair.
