I helped my daughter and her fiancé move to Atlanta and visited this place. Wonderful staff. Highly recommended to anyone searching for a great place to get a pedicure

This place had a lot of good reviews so I was excited to come in. Everybody was very friendly when I entered. I hadn't gotten A fill-in in a while, but I don't remember them costing the same price as a full set... What's the point in filling them in instead of just replacing the whole thing if it's the same price? Other than wear and tear on the nail of course... Regardless, I didn't have many complaints other than Price, but now that I have left and am 24 hours out from getting my fresh fill in, my nails are already starting to come off. She didn't file them down at all which seems silly considering they weren't this long when I got them the first time... And now I feel like they are so long that they are all pulling off from my nail.
Lame because 60 bucks is hard to spare these days, especially to treat yourself to something nice.... And now it looks like I'm going to have to try and find another 60 bucks just to get these fixed. :/

I made an appt because I live in the Village of East Atl. But the last two appts I have booked someone called and requested that I come in earlier. Their mani/pedi are average to below. They do not last long and they rush through the job. But still I have been giving them a chance, selecting different nail specialists. Today when I was asked to come earlier they acted like it was an inconvenience and seemed to suggest I had not requested the right service. And I did not include a note about Gel nails, and I had see attached. After releasing that call I called back to cancel. I explained that while the location is convenient the service has not been good. There was no apology for the inconvenience, it was the general sense of entitled arrogance I have felt before. So after I explain these issues and I was canceling the response was, "ok COOL!!!". I love supporting businesses in my village and most all the business owners appreciate a valued customer. Nail Shack EAV obviously does NOT! I intend to share this experience in my neighborhood group too. Customers should be valued for their loyalty and their time should be respected. This is NOT a service provider that values customer perception.

Cute. Building fits the name. Seem like they would have an easier way of removing acrylic nails, although I loved my gel manicure.

Been going here for eight years. The techs are all amazing. Never a bad experience. Good color selection. It is appointment based so you don’t ever have to wait.

I went to get my eyebrows done, and they did a terrible job for $12 plus a tip. My eyebrows hairs were not cut, and they are not even whatsoever. I had work, so I had no time to argue. Don’t go here for eyebrows

Went to the shack for a pedicure today. The nail tech was great, very skilled and professional, she did an amazing job and the place had a very decent selection of different polish brands and colors. The pedi chairs look very worn down, mine was all torn up, and none of the functions worked so I was stuck in a somewhat uncomfortable position. It’s a real bummer because of how great the staff is. I don’t know if I’ll be coming back

Horrible experience. First they kept changing people. My nail paint looked like a toodler painted it and instead of just giving me what I asked for I had to retract and just ask for a manicure because of the horrible job being done. I try to use local places but I’ll guess I’ll be driving again to find a new place. Worst experience ever. These photos are takes minutes after my appointment. Please don’t waste your money and time

Update review -2022: quality of staff has decreased significantly since new management. I no longer feel excited to go or be here and the hospitality and cheerfulness that the old staff and management brought is gone ! The space feels depressing and disconnected.
I stopped going and explored other places in 2022 because I was disgusted by the environment-a male tech smelled of cigarettes and had to ask him to wash his hands. Ugh.
I’ve come here for 7 years and never had a tech cut me while she did my nails- in my attempt to try again in Sept 2022, She was not empathetic enough for me and put drops on and kept moving. I had to ask about it before i left and it was treated so insignificantly.
While I have gone back once since then, I’ll never use that tech again.
Tiffany was there surprisingly on 11/21/22 and i was so elated - she greeted me by name and with a smile and it was a relief to see her. While she didn’t do my nails …. Her presence changed everything.
Jade did my nails and did a pretty good job. Her energy was focused and kind and I appreciate it.

Literally the worst experience I ever had and I’ve been getting my nails done for a year now. If you don’t care about your natural nails at all - go here. They will destroy them for you. I cried and left.
