It was a really nice experience. There was someone preforming on his guitar and it added a very nice ambiance. There was someone spelled baked goods from a training kitchen who gave skills to refugees. There was also someone selling chicken meat. There was a guy selling a bunch of different types of vegetables, fruit, and squashes, his potatoes looked amazing. There was also someone selling textiles and fabrics. There were other vendors there, but those ones stood out to me. It was really dog friendly. And almost everyone i bought from had a card reader.

It is nice to have local fruits and vegetables and the Strawberries were especially good this spring. I would like to try the baked goods present but there is always quite a line of bread enthusiasts (not the merchants fault and they do have a actual shop nearby). It is a charming (by local standard),shaded location with easy parking.

Love this market! Local, organic meats, vegetables, fruit and more. Beautiful, spacious setting under trees with multiple entrances and exits.

Easy to park and access, all outdoor shopping makes me feel safe plus it's the oldest farmers market in Atlanta and the *only* all Organic market! My favorite vendor is Farmer Chris at Sparta Gardens who has specialty mushrooms and produce.

Not sure I could've picked a more ideal time to visit a new-to-me farmers market for the first time: the dead of winter during a global health crisis. I guess I always associate farmers markets with summer, cool to know they exist in winter too! It's only though ordering some goods from Root Baking to pick up that I discovered this organic weekly market. Morningside Farmers Market was set up in the parking lot of a tiny strip mall home to a running store. Parking in the neighborhood wasn't difficult at all. There were to my count, about eight vendor tents set up and two of them were produce-focused. At the risk of sounding like a Portlandia character, I snagged some absolutely gorgeous radicchio from Diamond Hill and striking purple sweet potatoes from Sparta Gardens. The radicchio had leaves the hue of iceberg lettuce but they were speckled with magenta dots. Beautiful! And the sweet potatoes were deep purple both outside and inside! You can place orders with Root a few days ahead of time to pick up. They also have some extra treats to choose from. The multigrain and sesame semolina breads were delightful and made excellent slices for sandwiches. For sweet stuff, their chocolate croissants can't be beat. Seriously. Besides bread and veggies, other tents were hawking eggs, meats, honey, chocolate, and grains. Since the market wasn't too crowded, shoppers kept their distances, and everyone was wearing masks. The market is open from 8-11:30 AM Saturdays though some things were sold out already before I arrived. I'm glad I got to explore this cozy farmers market and definitely plan to return, hopefully on a warmer morning! ***NOTE: This market has moved to a new location. As of today, it's now at Morningside Presbyterian Church, 1411 North Morningside Drive.

This little market is a gem. We absolutely love coming here as a family. Being able to shop locally grown and ORGANIC produce is a privilege that must be carefully preserved. Saturday morning walks up here with the family are fantastic, especially now that the weather is cooling off. Crystal Organic Farm now offers an online purchase option which you pickup without having to stand in line.
