Absolutely love this school! The teachers and staff are wonderful and really go out of their way to make you comfortable about leaving your little ones in their care. Lots of opportunities for family involvement and some pretty fun community events each year as well.

We love the school! their teachers and staff are very loving and caring. The small class size is a bonus it allows the kids and parents engage at a more personal level. There is also sense of community that they build through their events with the families. I would highly recommend MDO.

Morningside Day Out (MDO) is an independent not-for-profit school. We've been providing high quality early education programs for 40 years. Our half-day classes welcome students from 6-months through Pre-K. Located at the corner of Lavista and Briarcliff, MDO is convenient to all of Atlanta's Intown neighborhoods. We believe that children are naturally curious and that they learn best through play. All of our classes are half-day programs, running from 9am-1pm. During this time, students alternate between structured teacher-led activities and free play. They sing and dance, do art projects and science experiments, read books, engage in sensory play, practice age-appropriate early literacy and math skills, and spend time outside.
