Trying to contact via phone or email is horrible. An order placed in December with a fulfilled status has not been delivered to my nephew. No one answers the phone and they have not responded to my email inquiries about the order. Not happy with my alma mater's bookstore - at all! Morehouse '96

This review isn’t for my experience in the store, which was fine. It is for the fact that now that I’ve flown back home across the country, I can’t find a good phone number for the store to discuss how I can return/exchange the item (a gift that is too ).How can a business have a bad phone number on their receipt?Why would a business have a bad number on Yelp and Google?A week has passed. Why hasn’t the bookstore responded to my email, sent using their website messaging service for customer support?Inquiring minds want to know?!So what have we learned from reviews? Only purchase in person, not online. And if you live out of state, don’t decide to buy any clothing at last minute if you aren’t absolutely sure of the size. You will not have anyway to contact anyone about it.

The manager at the bookstore went above and beyond to make sure my order was processed same day to ensure my son got his shirt for HBCU day at his elementary school. Not only did he expedite the order I placed, he even suggested meeting me locally for pickup since I was over an hour away from the campus and may have not gotten there in time. This is the type of service/care you get when you choose an HBCU! Thanks Cedrick for making my little guy’s day! Be blessed.

As an alum, I am ashamed at that absolutely abysmal customer service of this bookstore. I placed an order, but apparently one of the sweatshirts was coming directly from the vendor. No email from them, no call, nothing. When I called I was told "yeah, emails probably went to your spam folder." Uh, maybe that is something you want to change?!!? Also was told the manager would call to explain. Still no ETA on the sweatshirt. Still have not heard from them.HBCUs stay begging for money but can't get the basics right.
