Came here for supplies for a DIY project. The store associates were very helpful. However, the stock was limited and there was no variety amongst product selection. Ultimately they were more expensive than other places but still great for last minute supplies.

I will not recommend SAME DAY DELIVERY from this location. I placed my order a little before noon, I have been anticipating my order all day. My drop off location is less than 20 minutes from this store. At 4:15 I called to see where my order is and it still had not left the store. I requested to cancel the order and was told I will receive my refund within 3-5 business days. I am highly disappointed because I had given this store high expectations due to the location. Michaels really need to work on there "Same Day Delivery".

I signed up for a tie die class and was looking forward to it. I've been getting reminders even an hour before the class. When o showed up the cashier told us that the class is actually cancelled because the person who teaches classes quite her job a while back. Not sure why they were sending reminders. They should've been sending cancellation notifications

I dropped off a painting for framing a month and a half ago and still haven't heard anything. Went in the store and they couldn't locate my painting. It's two weeks later and I still haven't heard from a manager who was suppose to be calling me back. At this point I will be picking up my painting with no frame and getting a refund to take it some place else. A whole month wasted. Don't get things framed here. Definitely calling corporate.

I love Michael's but this one in the Lindbergh was pretty disappointing. I was in search of yarn and they were missing quite a few colors, the lighting was poor throughout, and the whole store felt cramped. Parking was easy and location was otherwise fine, but I don't know why this Michael's felt pretty rundown. highly recommend to management to consider fixing lighting, clearing some clutter to open up the aisles.

I've tried 8 calls today and no matter whether I press "3" for the next team member or "hold for an associate," the call disconnects 3 seconds later. I won't drive 20 min each way to find out my item is out of stock. Loss of this sale won't help them go out of business, but loss of all my business may help it happen.

Framing pictures isn't hard...I know because I did it myself when I worked at Michaels for a few years back in college. Somehow, this location has managed to screw it up, repeatedly. I brought in a diploma that was already framed. I told them I wanted a new, smaller frame. All they had to do was order a smaller frame in the proper dimensions (which I provided) then cut down the matte and glass and drop it into the new frame. Extremely easy. They told me they couldn't cut the matte because of a store policy. I said that's fine, I'll do it myself, just order me the frame and cut the glass down. About as easy as a job can be. A month+ later I went to pick it up and instead of handing me my old items and the new frame, they went ahead and cut the old matte, and apparently the math to do so was too difficult for them...the entire thing was noticeably off center, with an extra 3/4" on 2 sides. Instead of cutting off an even amount from all sides they chopped off 1/4" from two sides and 3/4" from the other two. It was visibly off. I told them I couldn't accept it and it needed to be fixed, so they took it back in and said they'd order a new matte. I then went an entire month without hearing anything from them. I called to find out what was going on and was told "We can't find a replacement for the matte that you brought in and we cut, it's discontinued." They had been sitting on it for a month, doing nothing to fix it. I told them I didn't care if it was the exact same matte, just pick one close in color. I was over it at this point. They then spent two more weeks delaying ordering a new matte to replace the one they screwed up (that I had originally brought in) but it finally got done after I was in direct contact with the manager. Fast forward another few weeks and I go to pick it up. They didn't cut the opening in the matte wide enough so a portion of the seal in the diploma is cut off, and there's also a big piece of debris stuck between the matte and glass right in a very prominent area. At that point I took it and left, since 2.5 months to complete this was already way too long. Take your artwork or valued documents somewhere reputable.

Drove from downtown to find buttons for a jacket. Their stock was so low they had almost none! I'm guessing it's from the Covid shortages going on. Staff was very pleasant and professional so adding one star for that. Traffic around the area is hideous but that's not the store's fault. Hopefully they'll get their stock back up, and not lose any of their great employees.

After my wonderful experience with Charles, I wouldn't care if my custom framing didn't come out just right. For the first 15 minutes, Charles took measurements, color schemes & layout specifications for my framing needs. I noted the timing as Charles gracefully took care of me while trying to reboot the computer system that kept being non-user-friendly. Charles remained cool, calm, collective, friendly & any other adverb that represents a positive aspect. Plus, I appreciated his creative insight for my special piece of artwork that has been in limbo for five years. Once Charles overpowered the computer - it happens - my order was finally accepted & I was good to go. Yet, not before I requested that Charles personally services my order. I look forward to returning next week for my completed masterpiece & hang out with Charles again...I'm sure the pickup process will be quick & easy. Everyone in the Custom Framing Department was welcoming, yet ask for Charles if you have framing needs, you'll definitely appreciate the "beyond" great customer service. I think Michael's has one of the best rewards programs, sales & coupons.

Unfortunately I have to give 2 stars 1 for friendliness. After receiving a fission updates from the curbside pick up order process I got to Michael's only to sit over 20 minutes waiting on delivery of my item. After waiting I called again and it seems clear to me that the person picking the orders for delivery forgot to send someone I was at curbside.
