Had high hopes for this place after finding it on eater Atlanta.. tacos were over cooked and dry. Paid $45 or 13 tacos so they’re not cheap either

The place offers Mexican food cooked by actual Mexicans. Unfortunately the food could be a little bit better. The place seems to be more focused towards being a supermarket than an actual restaurant.

I ordered some cjilaquiles, I like spicy, the lady told me they are a little spicy, I told her it's okay, when I tried them my tongue was numb because of how strong they were, they gave me some tacos and the truth is that the tortillas broke because they were so badly heated anyway. I will never return

definitely one of the best taco shops here. It’s also a grocery store with a whole bunch of stuff that you can’t find at Kroger.

The meat and tacos were old and when we got to eat they took a long time to ask us what we wanted, they just stared at us.

Mercado Acapulco never disappoints. One of the best places for tacos in Atlanta. There aren't many authentic Mexican spots in the city

I love this place. Authentic but sparse - it's just like dining in any neighborhood place in Mexico that caters to those men and women who work. I enjoy going there and I recommend it. Be aware that it may be more authentic that you want.

I have been there before shopping, but this was the first time I've ever been upstairs in the back to have my hair cut. Gloria has been there for 9 years and I have finally found another stylist that knows exactly how to cut my hair. The Studio is spotless and done very tasteful in a simple black and white color scheme.I do know that I will be back, especially with her great prices

The food is cooked in back of a convenience store. The establishment is clean for the most part. The food was nice, and fresh. The service was decent. The flavor of the tacos was okay. The red sauce is actually very hot lol. The tortillas were a little too dry for me.

MY FAVORITE! Of all of the taquerias I have tried lately this one was above and beyond amazing! You may pull up and be hesitant to go inside based on the outside but just go in. I promise it is delicious and worth it. Also love that it's in a little super market, if you are looking for any imported goods and Mexican snacks, you'll find them here! ***LOCATION*** Definition of hole in the wall haha only a couple of parking spots but I don't think it gets crowded. The taqueria is in the back of the convenience store. ***ATMOSPHERE*** You walk in and there's a lot going on. There's some kind of phone company or tax service or something on the right. I can't remember but it was a little counter. On the left there is the cash register for the super market. If you walk straight to the back there is the restaurant. They do have a couple tables, and some people were eating there with normal dishes. I think most orders are taken to-go. There are stairs in the back that lead to a hair salon. They for real have it all in one place haha. I feel like the taqueria is truly a hidden gem! I enjoyed looking around and the sweets and things they had at the market. They even have a full meat/seafood butcher section. ***FOOD*** The real reason you are reading. The tacos were phenomenal. I LOVE that they had veggie tacos because most places don't, which is normal, I feel like that is not so much a thing but I love that they had the option. My sister was with me and she is vegetarian and I am mainly vegetarian but will eat chicken if there aren't other options. So we were glad to have these! We loved that they were stuffed as well! It wasn't just onion and cilantro, they filled them with cascade and lettuce and pico. We were also surprised but the side of rice and beans was huge! We ordered that to share and it was so much! And it was like half the price of what we were expecting based on the menu. We originally thought we'd have to get each side separately but I think she made it some kind of combo. The salsa was good and spicy and we love that! ***STAFF*** Super nice! They mainly spoke Spanish but we were able to order. She was super friendly in the back and the younger girl in the front was as well! You do have to pay in the front with your ticket then come back to the back to pick up the food. It was out fast and she had everything packed up including both salsas for us. We took It to go and pics are at my place. There isn't outdoor seating at the restaurant. ***CONCLUSION*** Really recommend their tacos! Very cheap and so far my favorite ones I have tried in the area :)
