“For this place to be so small, they have quite a vast selection. They don't carry most of the wine brands only because they aren't popular in the area but they took my information so they can order it for me on the next shipment. Their prices are comparable to those in the area”

“Great time. Great host and waitress. No wait time. The wings were yummy we had Asian spicy and Buffalo I believe.. and the biscuits and gravy s/ chicken tenders added… we’ve never had one so delicious!!! The bread was perfect the gravy was flavorful, the chicken was perfectly cooked.”

“I’ve been here a couple times but recently I went to a wine tasting with a group of friends. The Somm had just gotten sick, but she was such a trooper and FaceTime in with us. Lindsay, at the shop, poured all the wines for us, and she was so knowledgeable! This group of friends definitely left with a couple wine purchases, So many fun facts about tasting wines, and the confidence to order wine at any restaurant. The selection at the store is wonderful and if you have no idea what you were doing, there’s always somebody there to help you.”
“I don’t have much experience at liquor stores but there was a presence of employees that I have never felt at other liquor stores I have been to. Almost felt outnumbered and they are watching your every move. I mean I understand the reason for theft deterrent but it was a little too much”

“Best mini-burger/slider I’ve had in years. Got the double sliders order with fries and a side of coleslaw. Burger cooked perfectly and flavorful, nice melted cheese and some caramelized onion, mustard, and perfect bun. Fries nice and “soggy” or soft, perfect to go with the style of burger, and the coleslaw was pretty solid (I’m a slaw snob and added a little salt, could probably have more acid too, but very tasty).Nice staff, very very cool and eclectic building/environment - will be back!!”

“The selections they have here is ample, the store itself is well organized, and we found Yogurt soju here! If you like soju, you know it's rare to find that in areas not in doraville or duluth. On top of that, the guy working the cashier when I went there was the nicest, most welcoming person. I can only imagine the types of people who come into a liquor store during weekends, but he had a huge smile on his face. Kudos to him! He is the reason I'm giving this place a 5 star.”

“We came here looking for a certain tequila & didn’t find it but Arpan was super helpful and very knowledgeable and gave us a recommendation that piqued our interest! Other liquor stores are very distasteful in the way they treat their customers. What I can appreciate at this place of business was that instead of obnoxiously pushing the latest celebrity product release, we were recommended something that wasn’t popular but in the ballpark of what we were looking for in regards to taste & price range. Obviously, the family that runs this business is passionate about what they do & it shows.”

“John Package Store is my favorite place to go for drinks in the area. I pass multiple Wine and Spirit locations because I like the way they treat me when I shop there. There is a large selection of drinks, stellar customer service, and the owners want to help you find what you are looking for. It’s become a staple location for all my wine and spirits. If it’s not there, and they can’t get it, then I don’t need it. Thank You”
