I’m moved away from Atl 2 years ago and came into town for business and to see family. I debated a hotel or an Airbnb. I chose this hotel because of location and the fact I could come back to a clean room with my very busy schedule. Big mistake. Out of the four days I was here, the room was cleaned twice (no privacy notice was put on the door) AND The rooms are humid. I purposely left early today so that my child could come back to a clean room before we headed out. That didn’t happen. As I’m writing this, I’m sitting in an unclean room with no clean towels. It was uber disappointing. Airbnb for sure next time.Rooms: Rooms are clean but humid.

Rooms and common areas were nice and clean. Service was trash. Paid for the buffet and was shoved a to go box to sit in my room before i even sat down. My daughter had to stand and eat her fruit. Thanks tho.

Uncompetent staff at the front

My recent stay at Le Meridien was unfortunately marred by a series of disappointments that left me thoroughly dissatisfied with the level of service and management's response. From missing amenities to a complete lack of follow-up, my experience was far from what one would expect from a hotel of this caliber.Upon arrival, I was shocked to find that my room did not have an iron or ironing board. This is a basic amenity that should be standard in any hotel room, especially a well-known establishment like Le Meridien. After calling the front desk to request these items, I was informed that they would be brought up promptly. However, after waiting for over an hour with no sign of the iron or ironing board, I called again to inquire. The staff apologized and said they would send someone up immediately. Another 30 minutes passed before someone finally arrived with the missing items. To make matters worse, the second room I was switched to due to issues in the first room also did not have an iron or ironing board. It was bewildering that the same issue occurred again in a different room. This lack of attention to detail and disregard for basic guest needs was deeply frustrating. As if this wasn't enough, I made the unfortunate mistake of leaving a valuable item behind in the room upon checkout. Realizing my error, I contacted the hotel immediately and provided them with a prepaid shipping label to have the item mailed back to me. I was assured by the front desk that they would take care of it promptly. However, days turned into weeks, and despite multiple follow-up calls and emails, there was no update on the status of my missing item. Each time I called, I was met with vague responses and promises that it would be taken care of, yet nothing was done. It's incredibly disappointing to experience such poor service and a lack of responsibility from a hotel that prides itself on luxury and hospitality. Not only did Le Meridien fail to provide basic amenities, but they also failed to fulfill their promise of returning my lost item. This level of incompetence and disregard for guests' needs is simply unacceptable. In conclusion, I cannot recommend Le Meridien based on my recent experience. The management's lack of follow-through and the recurring issues with missing amenities have left a lasting negative impression. If you value quality service and attention to detail, I suggest looking elsewhere for your accommodations.Rooms: nice size but plaster from construction work on floor and bathroom drapes dirty.Noteworthy details: The place looks very nice but under the covers by far the worst hotel I've stayed at and this was luckily a business trip. I'm so happy this was not for a family trip.

I have not stayed at this hotel in probably 10 or 15 years. I recall it being a very nice and desirable hotel, which is why I decided to stay there a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, the hotel's rooms are in need of a noticeably needed update, in particular the furniture and bathrooms. The hotel lobby was very nice, plush, and inviting. However, the rooms did not match the quality of the lobby. Hotel staff were polite, kind, and professional: but in terms of the rooms, there are many other and better room options given the price.

Loved my stay at Le Méridien! Easily one of the best hotel stays I've had in Atlanta. The receptionist Bryan was particularly helpful.

I reserved a King Bed Suite and was give a 2 Queen Suite when I arrived. Basically our room was given away. The receptionist at the front desk did give us free breakfast and free parking for 2 days for the inconvenience, and we were ok with that. The lighting in the room was horrible, there is not enough and it was too dim. The bathroom was too small and there needs to be an upgrade with an walk IN shower only (THERE IS A SMALL TUB ALSO). There is a lot of chipped paint in the room and hallways. The refrigerator barely got cold. We requested room service and never received it for 2 days. On the website it states there is an electric car charging station,THERE IS NOT! This made it very inconvenient for us having to find a place daily. Would I recommend, no I would NOT!

This hotel was all that, but Julian, the manager, made my visit worthwhile. He was masterful with a situation, handled it, and made sure my experience was as Le Meriden preached. Beautiful and classy hotel. There's live music, a comfortable bed, a large working space, and great food from the restaurant. The outdoor sitting is a beauty.

I was here for about a week. Great friendly staff . Very nice rooms . A guy at the front desk was especially very welcoming upon check in . Even all the bartender ladies were very nice . The driver named Garfield was also very kind . I stay with Marriott pretty often and with me being an ambassador with Marriott, I definitely know great service and what it feels like to be welcomed nicely and this was definitely it . Thanks again for making my stay so comfortable, your guest , Carmalita CoxFood & drinks: Very nice buffet breakfast selection

Zero Star Awful dining. They advertise a restaurant named Portico that only serves breakfast. The typical $18 for two eggs toast and bacon hotel food. In reality the only food that you can have for lunch and dinner comes from the bar and it is awful. The only options are meaty greasy french fries fried calamari hamburger etc. there is nothing suitable for a vegetarian except for a salad that has literally lettuce and tomatoes. They are falsely advertising cuisine because there is none. Also there TVs won't let you watch patriot news channels like real America's voice or Newsmax via the Pluto app. You can only access things like CNN and other woke stuff

Experience overall was disappointing.Just want to point out that the supervisor, Jerald, was great. There was a leak in my room which is unfortunate, but the handling of the situation was disappointing. Rather than letting me know if the leak is resolved or not, I came back from a day at work to find tools (spanners etc) sitting in the bathtub. I went down to reception, asked if the issue was resolved, and the man working just shrugged his shoulder. Eventually after asking how we move forward, he suggested moving room.On one of the days, I requested twice for house keeping to be done to my room, because they were v delayed. When I asked one second staff member, she looked at me blankly as if I asked her for something unreasonable. Instead of checking if it was complete, she sent me to check myself. Not a great experience.Checkout at the hotel was 12 by default. Why did house keeping bang on my door at 10.30 whilst I'm in the shower and say time for Check out??? Jerald offered to extend it to 3 because I had a late flight which was great. Yet I still had house keeping come to my room at 1pm and 1.30pm to ask why I'm still in my room. No co-ordination here - frustrating. The rooms were ok, although no windows for fresh air and rooms are v dark.

I am a self acclaimed high class travel. I was skeptical because of some of the reviews. I want to explain, the hotel was spectacular with their services. Ms. Phyllis from the breakfast area was outstanding. She greeted my family with a friendly smile and excellent customer services each morning. The food from the bar was amazing. The prime burger was beyond good, almost perfect. We stayed in a two king bedroom suite. There were two televisions, separate sitting room, a huge work desk. Overall the room was very spacious. The hotel provides local live entertainment similar to jazz or soft contemporary music. The location is close to Alpharetta, Georgia and Buckhead are about 20 minutes away. The mall is across from the hotel and plenty of other shopping in the areaWe were very pleased. Whenever, the hotel decides to conduct a remodeling project, it will only magnify the hotel to a road of excellence. It was a WIN for my family.
