To sum it up: Lark and Sparrow is decent. I have received better results with Navy at Flair in Midtown and at Lavish on Peachtree.
Ambivalent feelings on this place. Overall, it’s better than the discount nail salons. Not entirely reliable- in the past few months, they’ve cancelled three of my appointments (which I set a month in advance). Because they are booked out, it’s impossible to reschedule with the same provider if they do cancel you (so don’t develop a preference). If your appointment is honored, the service will more than likely be good. I’ve only had one provider be hostile and give a bad pedi (Jenny). The others were polite, each one has their flavor. Both Sams are sweet- Sam B is great if you want a convo. Ryan gives a great massage. The atmosphere is quiet and paced. The color selection (CND) is nice. My feet feel a little rougher when I leave here (compared to places that offer paraffin waxes). Their warm neck and eye compresses have smelled “like feet” before.
I’m disappointed in the owners response, which took zero accountability and affirms all other reviews that mention the owner’s temperament. Not only were some things falsely stated, but there is a clear lack of understanding, appreciation, and hospitality. I was a loyal patron, I tipped over 25% (many times in cash, for the convenience of the techs), and I left many positive reviews on their Vagaro page. Yet, you can see her callousness in her reply to my review.
Here’s some clarity:
I had no issue requesting a square shape with Paola, Azalea, both Sams, Ryan, Bonnie. Both pedicures I had done by Jenny had to be fixed. Jenny spent my first appt with her complaining about her divorce. The only reason for the second appointment was because, yet again, they cancelled the original one I had set with another provider and rescheduled me with Jenny last minute (without prior consent). During the second appointment, Jenny’s attitude was so off that I had to ask her if she was okay. She told me she was on the first day of her period as an excuse for her bad comportment.

The service is very good at Lark and Sparrow. The three-star rating is because I didn't appreciate not being made aware of an environmental fee that is automatically charged to the client's bill without notice. Although it is not a large amount, as a business, any additional fees should be communicated to the customer. When I asked if this fee was on the website, I was told that it was not. I don't have an issue with paying service fees that are posted. My issue is when customers are not told about a mandatory fee until it is time for the checkout.

I’ve only been here twice and had a positive experience both times. So much so that I invited my friend to come in with me for a pedicure. My nail tech was extremely sweet and did an excellent job. My friend on the other hand had a horrible experience and I was so embarrassed that I brought her here. The nail tech showed up 10 minutes late and was legit one of the rudest people I’ve ever encountered. She had an attitude the entire time and kept getting annoyed while asking basic questions. She seemed to truly hate working here. She was also clearly sick and coughed through the pedicure. We both will not be going back and were shocked by the “customer service”. You pay a premium to come here and it was unacceptable.

Perfect mani pedi for natural nails. Enjoyable ambiance. Great staff! Prices are steep, but you get what you pay for. I will be back!

Best nail salon. Clean, quiet, relaxing, and perfect nails every time. I live 35-40 minutes away but it’s the only place I really love to go for manicures and pedicures.

I searched "non-toxic nail salons" and "nail salons for healthy nails" and Lark and Sparrow came up. I saw great reviews and their website had a "healing manicure" which is a scrub, a mask, hot towels and overall care. I have a skin picking issue and incredibly dry skin on my hands. I didn't want any color. My technician was skilled, my hands felt amazing, and the salon smells great and non-toxic. I cannot stop looking at my hands, the buff shine is really crazy to me. My nails re so shiny and beautiful. i am so happy and will be going here from now on.

Disappointed in the varying quality of services I’ve experienced. The first time I was here, I had a great time. My teir 1 nails came out fantastic, I had no wait, the technician was friendly. The second time I went back, I was waiting for 15 minutes in the chair before the technician came over to start my polish removal. I got a basic gel manicure and it came out worse than it does at a regular salon and I paid $60 ? there’s bubbles, visible layers of polish, and polish on my cuticles.

I absolutely love getting my nails done here. You can get super cute artwork and healthier beauty treatments. The calm atmosphere is a 10/10. No loud drill noises or the harsh smell of chemicals. The healing manicures are my favorite. I even bought the cuticle oil pen. Definitely worth the extra time and waiting for an appointment!

This was my first experience at L&S and my first boutique nail experience. Amazing! Kurenn was the sweetest and took such good care of my mani and pedi! Definitely a returning client ❤️

I have been a client of Lark and Sparrow since January 2018. Their set up and approach to nails and well being are amazing, excellent, and truly bring joy. They are the best in the business, and the place to get your nails done in and around ATL.

Updated: Lark and Sparrow reached out and made things right. Thank you!Original review: I've been a customer for 5 years and love the nail art I always get. Today I had a really tough experience with the service at Lark and Sparrow and didn't know what else to do but write it here. I couldn't reach a manager to talk to someone directly. I have a baby and today is my birthday. As a treat, my family encouraged me to get a mani and pedi and they would provide childcare--take some much-needed self-care time. I showed up at 3:30pm for my 3:30pm appointment only to learn that my appointment had been changed to 4:00pm without my consent or notification. Not only that, I was told I could only do a mani or a pedi and to pick which one I wanted. I was so confused and sad that I just left in tears. I think I would have responded better to all these setbacks and been able to hold back my tears and stay if I had been offered a place to sit and wait, an apology for all these changes, an empathetic comment, anything. I'm still digesting all of this but I think Lark and Sparrow lost a customer today. The nail work is great, but one of the things I love most about Lark and Sparrow is the welcoming and relaxing atmosphere that greets you when you walk in. It just wasn't there today, on a big day for me.
