My car now looks brand new after Kong’s Body finished their work! They were professional and efficient. They completed all the work in only 3 days! I would highly recommend that you consider Kong’s body shop for any auto body needs. And they also have an associated car detailing arm of the business that is top notch!

Long read - sorry. Absolutely awful business. My daughter had an accident in ATL/Buckhead and needed a tow at 1:30am. Two truck recommended Kong and said he would drop the car there and we could go back to Buford. Monday morning I call Kong and ask for an estimate with two options one being make the car so it can be driven the other make it able to be driven and fix cosmetics. Guy I spoke to says hey I have another call let me call you back. Less then two hours goes buy I get a call back with estimate. Due to financials from a recent health issue finances are tight which I told the guy who called I called Nissan and was able to work something out with them so I needed the car towed from Kong. Call Kong and they start telling me how Nissan will charge me triple and etc. …I said I have a tow guy coming and the guy on phone was Kong or Matt or Matt’s brother (who knows) says well we had to do work on your car to do the estimate and you have fees to pay because your car was left at our gate and he says I hope you are ok with this… I responded a what? I said how much… eh um eh and he says 600 dollars to which I said for what? He says some sort of lot fee and labor because again they had to do work on the car. I basically said that is bs and we had no contract verbal or written for you to do any work on the car… this is where some of the bad reviews I read sink in…he starts telling me to call any bodyshop and the fee is normal and that they had to work on the car to do an estimate. Again, less then two hours went buy from the time I called and time I got estimate. New tow guy shows up and surprise… Kong will not release car unless I pay… i was at the airport and called and said ok how much again are you extorting me for? He hangs up. I call back and he says oh I am giving you a deal and I say how much he says 325 to which I say fine so I can get the car away from these shady people. I pay and the car is towed. Now, the car was in fairness not driveable as the axle was disconnected from front driver side tire so to move the car requires dolly and skates the tow guy explained. My issue is… charging me to do an estimate without ever advising me of any such cost upfront and before the car was touched. Also charging me a fee to move the car when the original tow guy dropped it off and I had no idea of the area, never heard of Kong before. Plus again it was a less then two hour timeframe from when I asked about an estimate and I got a call back. At no time were any fees mentioned what so ever until I said I was having the car towed eslewhere.
All around shady experience. Please read other reviews and be careful if you use this business.

Overall, I do not recommend you go here, unless you really have to. Even then, watch what you are signing up for, they will charge you for storage.

Matt and the team have performed a number of body shop repairs for our family. Recently replaced a bumper on my truck after struck in rear. Painted bumper look as good as new! Truck was washed, waxed and even inside windows cleaned !! Hope we don’t need body shop work - if we do we will be going straight to Matt and crew at Kong’s Body Shop.

These guys were actually my third choice, as my favorite shops were backed up. It took much longer to repair my car than anticipated, by weeks. They never once had the courtesy to call and update me on the repair progress, I had to literally CALL THEM every week, which is unprofessional in itself. My car was returned filthy and covered with leaves even though they own a car was right in front of the repair center. And sadly, after returning home from vacation I then noticed the paint mismatch. It was cloudy the day I picked it up, but now in the sunlight the difference is significant. I left them 2 messages about it but never got a return call. Go elsewhere, very unsatisfactory.

Great family business that I've taken my car to twice to be repaired; both times they did an exceptional job. I definitely recommend this location not only for vehicle damage but also for car washes as well.

They do a great job but it's customer service not the same as years past.I have been there 3 times in the last 15 or so years when the owner was the face of the business, this time is someone else, and it's not the same.

They gave me a lighting fast online rough estimate from pictures of the damage to my car. Turned out the car was a total loss, but I appreciate the quick response.

I went for a quote for my fender that didn't seem to be too damaged, although I realize sometimes it's hard to know by glancing. The whole time I was there, he talked on his phone, which seemed to be an old innocuous conversation. He advised that I would have to replace it all. I later got another quote saying that it could be easily fixed and repainted for less than half the price that Kong offered. It's clear now that the new deal is to replace everything and profit greatly.

Called in beforehand to get an estimate to change a tail light, already had the part just needed to pay for labor. Was told under 100 dollars, when dropping off the car, was quoted 150. That’s over a 50% price markup from what I called in. They said they had to take off the bumper.Bought to tools myself to do it and completed it in under an hour with 0 experience. Anyone with better tools and actual car experience could probably complete this in 15 minutes. Seriously a joke that they tried to charge me 150 dollars for 15-30 minutes of labor. If the pricing discrepancy is this high before I even dropped off the car, who know what they would have tacked on afterwards. Would not take your car here.
