Kia Corporate: Irresponsible Handling of Engine IssuesI am writing to express my profound disappointment with Kia corporate's handling of engine problems in their vehicles, specifically the Kia Soul model. Here is a summary of my experience:Engine Problem: I purchased a 2014 Kia Soul from a dealership in georgia only to discover that it was part of an engine settlement. Despite this knowledge, Kia corporate has rejected resolving the issue and providing the necessary extended warranty coverage.Customer Neglect: It is deeply troubling that Kia corporate has neglected to address engine issues in their vehicles, not only in the Kia Soul but also in other Kia models. This irresponsibility puts customers' safety at risk and undermines trust in the Kia brand.Lack of Accountability: Despite numerous attempts to seek resolution, Kia corporate has failed to take accountability for the engine problems plaguing their vehicles. This lack of transparency and accountability is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the company.Safety Concerns: Driving a vehicle with a faulty engine poses a significant safety hazard to customers. Kia's refusal to address these issues in a timely and effective manner is not only negligent but also reckless. In conclusion, I want to raise awareness among potential Kia customers about the serious engine issues affecting Kia vehicles. It is imperative that Kia corporate takes immediate action to rectify these issues and prioritize the safety and satisfaction of their customers.

This Kia is an absolute joke!! Very unprofessional! I called about the recent recall and spoke with Mariah . I asked her if Kia had a fix remedy yet and she said yes. I asked her 3 times if she could check and make sure before she make the appointment and I waste my time coming out there. She assured me that they could fix that recall. I went in the next day and was told that there wasn’t a remedy to fix the recall yet. So I wasted my time. People don’t purchase a Kia this car has had so many recalls! I use this car as my way of income and due to this recall my car was removed from work until the recall is repaired due to safety reasons. I’m losing income and Kia doesn’t give a damn. They won’t even provide a loaner . Don’t waste your money on a Kia and the Kia in union city ga needs to get it together. Just a year ago my engine went out due to a recall that had me without a vehicle for 4 months. I regret ever buying a Kia!! I definitely will not ever purchase another one and will let everyone I know not to also!!!! Kia you have to do better!!

They have an interesting customer service procedure over at corporate. When you have a question they cant answer or you request a supervisor, they simply hang up on you....repeatedly. Their other favorite game is for 3 people answering phones to give 3 entirely different answers to your question.I highly commend them as they must surely lead the industry with their ability to deter repeat business while simultaneously reducing volume of complaint calls. If you love driving a headache on wheels with major costly engine problems and recalls that don't work , then kia is the company for you.

Never again will I buy a Kia. Not only did it catch fire at 4 months only, they wouldn't cover the warranty. Then my loaner broke down and they told me I had to pay for a road side call, for THEIR rental vehicle

I want to first start off by saying, the experience I am currently having with Kia is by far the worst car experience I’ve very had! Now, in the beginning of july, the engine of my 2019 Optima gave out at 85,000 miles. My car recently had an oil change so the car had very fresh oil! The only available appointment the dealership had was July 28th, so I took that appointment for my car to be looked at. 2 1/2 months down the line I get a call from my mechanic saying KIA Is requesting my oil change records/receipts in order to approve a new engine. Please keep in mind KIA has denied me a loaner vehicle or even a rental. I have been getting around using Uber, Lyft and getting rides from family and friends!Anyways, here we are… I’m September, and i only recently received a text message from the mechanic telling me KIA will be replacing my engine for free as well paying labor! I was told my car should be finished by the end of the month! Though this is a horrible experience, I’m greatly appreciative that my car is being fixed! But, no more KIAs for me! I wish you all well and I hope everyone get the results they’re looking for!UPDATE***** TODAY IS SEPTEMBER 20th 2023! On SEPTEMBER 19th I WENT TO KIA ON WEST BROAD IN RICHMOND VIRGINIA, MY CAR WAS DAMAGED BY A MECHANIC AND WAS LEFT FOR WEEKS WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE! KIA TRIED TO CHARGE ME $380 FOR A NEW BATTERY! I BELIEVE MY CAR WAS CRASHED MANY WEEKS AGO AND THE DEALERSHIP HAS BEEN GIVING ME THE RUN AROUND BECAUSE MY CAR WAS ALREADY DAMAGED.

NO ONE can seem to tell me why my '22 Telluride has a bumpy feel while riding. It started at around only 400 miles after I bought it brand new, & after multiple service appointments, it is still doing it! I was told new cars do that by 1 Kia tech, 1 said I don't drive it enough, another said he simply just didn't know what was wrong with it! They refuse to do anything further & this is an expensive SUV at that! Such poor customer service & the Kia vehicles have went up in price, but lower in quality. Definitely won't buy another Kia vehicle nor would I recommend!

Awful is the one word to describe Kia. I had a friend Years ago that had the worse experience with them so I should have known. I decided to give them a try and garbage. My 2023 kia shortage had a recall on it concerning brake booster. Dealership couldn't tell me when replacement part would be available neither could kia. I contacted kia concerning safety concerns and they pointed me to the dealership. Dealership says we just sell them. If my part had failed, I could have not been able to stop my vehicle causing harm to me and/or others. I was without a ride for 25 days and np one called me back until 15 days later. I called I to kia and Dealership over 30 times. Kia advised me to get a rental, well no rental place had one so I rented from an individual because I was stranded. So I advise anyone not to buy a kia shortage. I have not even driven 4700 miles and it's had several defects already. Kia socks and badly at that.

If I could give less then 1 star I would. Kia Finance- I paid off the remainder of my lease and it took them six months to close out the account because they did not understand what paying it early meant. Now my 2022 Kia Sorrento with only 17,000 miles and under warranty is having serious electronic issues, it stalls while driving, gas gage fluctuates incorrectly, the clock is stuck on 5:22 p.m. just to name a few. All dealerships are booked out for diagnostics anywhere from 2 weeks to 1 1/2 months. Then they need to keep the vehicle for 10-15 days or longer to figure it out with no loner cars available. I am welcome to rent a car at my expense and be reimbursed by Kia. Did I mention the finance department? Not sure they would ever figure out how to write a reimbursement check. Not to mention I have no idea how long to rent a car for because I can't get a straight answer on how long all of this will take. I am thankful I leased instead of purchased my first Kia and can't wait to give it back. This will be my first and last Kia ever.

I would have love to give m them a zero, so I was forced to settle for a one star. This is got to be the worst run auto company in the world, this includes from customer service , dealers, all the way up to upper management. They recently took possession of my 2022 Kia EV6 via Ca lemon law. The process was a nightmare from the beginning to the end the case manager would take days sometimes more than a week to return my call or just return my emails. Calling Customer Service was even worse they must train employees just to be the rudest unhelpful people in the industry. The dealerships, especially in Southern California are the worse, especially dealership in Temecula, Ca they never answer their phone for service. The dealership honestly fix the car was pretty good they just didn’t communicate effectively took forever to fix the car. Thank God for CALIFORNIA Lemon it saved me from this disaster of having dealing with this car company. Kia financial isn’t much better. When you try to communicate with them is hard even have a simple conversation of going back-and-forth due to language barrier issues so the simplest conversations cannot be had. They may have great innovation just very poor execution poor customer service. When you purchase of car for $60,000 you expect to be treated fairly well, not a Kia you get treated worse. This was my first experience buying a Kia. I would say the EV 6 is pretty innovative The service after the sale isn’t there. I will never buy another Kia product or Finance Anything from Kia. If they were the last standing car manufacturer in the world I would rather ride a bicycle, so wouldn’t have to deal with them. Take your hard earned money and spend it elsewhere. Do not buy any kia product or do any business with them you will regret it.

Could not get me the deadbolts for the car they built. I gave them the ones that came out of the motor and the tried to tell me they were not the right ones. AutoZone in kilgore found the correct bolts for me. Thanks AutoZone for picking up where Kia is slacking.

I dropped my car off at Kia over a month ago. Not one time have they called to provide me with an update. I have had to call every time, and when I do it is for 2-3 days before anyone will give me a response, I even had to show up at the dealership one day to get a responseI was told that it looks like I would be getting a new engine (under a recall) but yesterday I was told that I would not be. They explained that while the code that is coming up is under a recall, that the reason that it is coming up is not from what the recall is.I called back today to ask more questions and was told that she thought that this was explained to me yesterday, as though I cannot ask more questions. I need $2000 worth of nothing but maintenance work done according to Kia. Im not understand how an oil change is going to make a difference of black smoke coming out of my car, and the check engine light flashing. According to them I did not have oil showing up on the dipstick, which Kia's burning oil is a common issue.I loved my Kia the last time and that is why I purchased another, but next time around I absolutely will not be. They continue to say that they are busy but my car has been in the shop for a little over a month now...and you have called me twice after I had to call, call and call again. The service has been the worst I have ever experiences. It's no wonder Kia has so many lawsuits. Even now I was told this morning at 10, that the lady was going to speak with the tech and call me right back.....thats been 4 hours ago.

I have been a Kia loyalist for more than 20 years but no more! I bought a 2023 Kia Sportage that continues to randomly die while driving and sometimes won't start at all when I try to start it. I am now stuck in a parking lot needing to get towed and the local Kia dealership says they can't look at it for at least 6 months. I am beyond upset and cannot wait to work with a lemon lawyer to sue Kia.
