Ms. Wanda and Ms. Kyna are knowledgeable about hair, porosity, density, products, and so much more.
I have naturally curly hair and Ms. Wanda did a wet set and then a light press. My hair looks incredible and it’s healthy! I exercise 6 days a week so, maintaining appointments to keep my scalp clean and hair healthy is a must.
I was ready to go in less than 90 minutes and the salon is a great place for professional, polished, and sophisticated women. ??

I have been a client at this salon since it opened in 2004! Prior to finding J Miles/Kyna, I had tried many salons in Atlanta, however, none have compared to J Miles when it comes to coloring, styling and maintaining healthy long hair....Most times when I return to the salon for my routine visit my hair style is still in tact. KYNA IS EXCELLENT!

This salon is AWESOME! I rarely remain satisfied with a salon and this one has survived against all odds, I have been going here for over 5 years. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the stylists are great! The owner Kyna J. does wonders with straightening natural hair without chemicals.

I never noticed this salon was here and they said they had been therefor 8 years. I was a walk-in and the stylist Jenay did my hair. I'm natural and have very thick and curly hair. I've been to many "stylist" in atlanta who said they could press my hair out and make it straight, when really they couldn't. Jenay on the other hand pressed my hair to a tee and I loved it. I was very happy! She also informed me that they give college students discounts; which in itself was another huge plus for me. When I got there she was finishing up a sew-in, and it looked so natural! I've never had one, but will definitely be considering getting one from her. All in all, the experience was a good one. The salon is a very serene place to relax and get your hair done and not have to worry about the typical SALON DRAMA.

I went in for an offer on Twitter. I'd commented about trying the salon soon and the salon responded to my tweet and offered a free service. So, I tried it. I went in a bit unsure because when it comes to my hair, I generally stick to places/people that I have been referred to. And given that I was getting a free service, I wasn't sure about how well it would be done (for the simple fact that I wasn't paying full price). Walking in, the salon was clean, quiet, and very professional. First off, the shampoo was great. I have no idea what she put in it (I was distracted by my issue of Jet magazine), but her shampooing technique and the smell was great. She used a masque on my hair, as well. I saw the results of the shampoo/condition when my hair was being blown out. It was very soft and sleek- it didn't seem weighed down by products in the least. (I'll have to post an update if I have anything else to say about the after effects of the shampoo/condition.) I am a very easy client. I don't care how it looks, how it's parted, or if it has curls/flips/straight, whatever. As long as it looks good and is healthy and styled. I am easy to please. I told the stylist so and she played up my layers and curled the ends according to the layers in my hair. Leaving the salon, my hair looked great, flowed well, and feels healthy. I plan to come back!
