We recently stayed at the Hyatt Centric for a week after evacuating from Hurricane Milton in Florida. Despite the minor service delays at breakfast, we had a wonderful stay and would recommend the Hyatt Centric for anyone looking for comfort, good amenities, and a dog-friendly environment.
Here are several amenities that made our time there comfortable and pleasant.
- Quiet and Comfortable Room: We stayed on the 9th floor, and our room was quiet and dark, quality conditions for good sleep.
- Spacious Gym: The gym exceeded expectations, with weights up to 75 pounds and a leg press machine. It had all the essentials for a good workout.
- Great Walking Trail: There's a lovely, paved walking trail right behind the hotel, perfect for a morning or evening stroll.
- Dog-Friendly: A major plus for us was that the hotel is dog-friendly, which made it easy to bring our pet along.
- Shops Walking Distance Away: A few places to eat (sweetgreen), a few places to shop (Bloomingdales, Lululemon) and several other stores.
We had breakfast at the hotel every day. While the food was good, it’s worth noting that the restaurant was a bit understaffed, and the service was sometimes slow.
The hotel offers both valet and self-parking options, which was convenient for us depending on how quickly we needed to come and go.
Local Hotspot - Spaceman: The rooftop bar, Spaceman, was a popular local spot. On certain nights, it was lively and packed.

I enjoyed a two night Staycation here, by myself for my birthday. Initially I was unsatisfied with the room I was given(only because it wasn’t on a high enough floor and a corner room). Chauntae at the front desk was so patient with me and took the time to show me other rooms. She then spoke to the manager Diena who upgraded my room for my birthday. Both ladies were so friendly and accommodating. The room was beautiful and modern. Valet staff was also friendly but I did self parking across the street. I also had a good time at Spaceman on Sunday night. Overall I had a great experience and looking forward to coming back.

I really enjoyed my stay here, beautiful hotel. The room was very big and spacious, nice bathroom and the breakfast was delicious. The only “con” is that it is right next to the highway so it was very loud in the morning with people traveling to work, I’m an early riser so did not bother me as much but I could see other people being put off by this. However, I love the location, walking distance to Lenox mall and other things to do in the area.

Location and view is great. This is not a hotel for quiet evenings and parking can be an issue due to the hotel's recurring evening festivities. During check-in, I was informed that the two queen room I had booked was oversold. Instead, I was given a single king bed room and promised a queen rollaway bed. We are 3 adults and this was an unexpected adjustment. The front desk called a staff member to bring up the bed.
Food and ambiance of Three Arches was fine. The experience of the first night soured our visit and nobody followed up about our visit after the issue with the room.

They charged me twice for the same stay, overdrawing my account and they said it was a glitch, the money would be back in the account that night.. 2 nights later, still overdrawn, still have not heard from them, we asked for an early check in when we reserved the room and when we got there, guess what? No room... I waited for 4 hours to get my room.. and when I got my room, there was a dirty sock left in the corner that was not mine! The manager made me feel like "oh, this is business as usual, you should just accept it" and offered nothing. With no money in my account, I couldn't eat, because they are too "upscale" to give away "free" breakfast... I took a picture of the sock... and I went outside early the next morning to do my devotions and watch the sunrise, just for a RAT to come up the stairs and watch us, like we were taking his bench
