Our 1st time experience with Haverty's has been a fiasco! We purchased twin beds (after going into the store for a king), twin adjustable power bases, and a solid wood bed. After a week, I called the North Point store, to tell them that we were not happy and wanted to exchange for a king. The salesperson informed me that we would have to wait 30 days, and there was no returning the adjustable power bases. After 30 days and two deliver dates on our calendar, we still did not have our king mattress. We learned in the failed delivery date that the king mattress had not been ordered. Finally, after three weeks and given 3 delivery dates, we got a successful delivery of the king mattress. However, the crew could not hook up the twin adustable beds for the controls to be in tandem with king mattress. I called the NP store, and was told I needed to contact the manufacturer. Yes, I called the manufacturer and found out that the twin adjustable power base that we were sold was the only one made that was not conpatible with a king size bed!Now, we have a king bed, a non working adjustable power base, a Haverty's store that has been paid in cash and markets the adjustable bed as "Skye by Haverty's" on all the information packet that was given to us upon delivery. Then, they disclaim any responsibility from an exchange and make the customer have the responsibility of working with the manufacturer. Our receipts all are from Haverty's. So much for customer service!

Really Regret buying here! We ordered a bedroom set and it took them 5 attempts to deliver one of the nightstands undamaged (first two they canceled the day before delivery). On the 5th delivery they managed to bring an undamaged one but then ran into the corner of our new bed frame chipping it while moving it in. Literally go anywhere else you're future self will thank you.

Do not waste your money on the extended warranty they push. It’s a horrible company to work with !! We were actually told that once they fixed my couch which we’ve been waiting for for three months they would no longer warranty that piece of furniture! Keep your money don’t waste it! Home office does nothing

My Husband and myself recently bought 2 electric recliners and a love seat set of 2 electric recliners at Havertys Furniture Store in ************, ** located at ******************************** ******************* (Sales Manager) assisted ** and we can not say enough good things about him. He greeted us as we entered the store. We told him what we were interest in seeing and as he showed us the variety of recliners he answered questions BUT also gave us enough "private time" so we could talk and calculate. **** proved to be very, very knowledgeable about the Company and Policies.Also informed us of what is covered under the warranty and what further protection we could purchase. ******************* is surly an asset to your Company. He is friendly yet professional. He is able to put the customer at ease as they shop. Thank ****************!

From start to finish, I had a great experience with the Haverty's staff at the *************** location. ****** made the buying experience easy and pleasant. He was very professional and offered me a variety of options similar to the Jenna **** I selected. I was immediately alerted through text message about the delivery date and then later asked to confirm. Deliverymen ******* (***) and ****** were super nice and friendly. This is the second time I've purchased a couch from Haverty's and have been so pleased each time.

3.5 yrs ago, I purchased a "lift" chair for my husband who is disabled. In May, the chair started stalling, raising by itself or just not working at all. I contacted Guardian, the extended warranty provider and became very frustrated with the delay of service (over a month). My husband cannot lift himself out of a regular chair. I went into Haverty's in ********* area of *****, **. I was speaking with customer service to see if they could help me in this matter. The Asst. ******** D__ Cl__rk, heard me speaking and came right out and said, "Mrs. ******* I have a floor model I'm going to let you use till they get your chair fixed". They also delivered it at no charge!. **************** is everything in my opinion. We have purchased several pieces of furniture from Haverty's over the years, but it doesn't matter how good the product is, if the company won't stand behind it.. We have purchased several pieces of furniture from Haverty's over the years, and I will definately continue to be a Haverty's customer

None of this companies locations answer the phone ! The corporate customer support line is a non existent. How are delivery companies supposed to schedule pick ups for clients. We don't just show up at bays ready to take stuff wth

I bought a sectional couch from Havertys Midlothian store on 1/1/23, for $4,000, emails and text between the store and ** were difficult and frustrating, finally scheduled delivery 3/1/23, they never pay any attention to my request for delivery time, I called and it was sort of taken care of? ******** was 2/1/24 and on 2/5/23 my husband sat on the couch and heard a loud pop, tech came about 1 week later, couch was broken underneath main frame, ordered another couch, again delivery time requested was ignored, today it was scheduled for 3-5:00, we werent home both at work couldnt get off, now we are still waiting to get our couch, I will never purchase anything from them again!!!

Ordered dining room and bar stools in June 2021, every date told kept pushing. Have dining room table but no bar stools, now being told February of 2023 but no guarantees. Take your money and string you along.

Horrible …I wish I could rate a zero!!!The entire company practice the worst customer experience. In the beginning they are sweet as pie, but once an issue develope. They all treat you like dog poop…from corprate to the store.

Was given a 2-3 week delivery date. Just told it is now going to be another 4-6 weeks. Being misled is bad but billing me for items on backorder is simply disgusting. Update, was told on Sunday that our furniture was going to be delivered today. The thrill is gone but the goods are here, great recovery Havertys,

I can’t believe I actually have to call them they should be calling me! I bought over $22,000 in furniture every piece with the exception of my couch has come damaged. My bedroom furniture was damaged and I’m waiting on my 8th headboard to be delivered! No call from the higher ups no compensation no nothing!! Oh they also damaged my stairwell delivering the furniture I’m still waiting to be reimbursed for that! It’s an absolute nightmare!! Not how anyone should run a business!

By far the worst furniture company! What you see on the showroom floor is not what you receive. It is all smoke and mirrors and the bad thing about it is Harvetys is aware of the poor quality and cheaply made furniture they ship out to you. They know when they deliver your furniture it's damaged, but they deliver it anyways. I have experienced high levels of stress and anxiety dealing with this company for the past 2 years.
