I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Gregory Banks Salon, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with professionalism and courtesy by Ashley and her team. It was my first time working with them, and I was immediately impressed by their warmth and expertise.
Not only did Ashley and her team make me feel welcome, but they also worked magic on my hair. I left the salon feeling absolutely incredible, thanks to their impeccable service and attention to detail. My hair looked stunning, and I couldn't be happier with the results.
What truly sets Gregory Banks Salon apart is the atmosphere they create. The studio is beautifully designed, with a relaxing and soothing ambiance that instantly put me at ease. From the comfortable seating to the calming music, every detail was carefully curated to ensure a luxurious experience.
Ashley herself is a gem. Not only is she incredibly talented, but she's also kind and personable. I had a wonderful time speaking with her during my appointment, and it felt like catching up with an old friend. Her passion for her craft shines through in everything she does, and it's clear that she genuinely cares about making her clients feel beautiful.
Overall, I can't recommend Gregory Banks Salon highly enough for all your hair needs. Whether you're looking for a simple trim or a complete transformation, Ashley and her team will exceed your expectations. Trust me, you'll leave feeling like royalty, with hair that looks and feels amazing.

Ashley was trash. Everybody that works there are trash. The people cannot even hire a front desk to handle the salons day to today business. They run shady operation, that’s why it is always locked and dark in there.I should have listened to myself the first time when it was so dark and the door was locked. That was the first red flag. . I’m filing for theft by taking against them,I spent so much money with them. It’s unbelievable . I wish I saw the reviews before I went. horrible horrible people they took my money they have my hair extensions. I am never going back, I don’t feel safe.City getting dangerous try not deal with that kind of low life trash. uneducated, illiterate, ignorant people. i’m just gonna let my lawyers deal with them.Services: Hairstyling

I was serviced by Tae at this salon. Prior to my appointment I’d already been annoyed with the stylist because she was unresponsive and rescheduled my appointment twice. I booked a style and shampoo for my tape-ins. Her service promotions via Instagram suggests that tape ins are a specialty of hers but the actual experience suggested otherwise. She did not properly wash my hair it there was buildup all through my scalp. She did not properly blow dry my hair and proceeded to flat iron hair that was obviously still wet as it was making loud popping noises upon applying heat and when she cut layers into my hair she did not take time to check that my real hair was being cut and cut it as well. I was very frustrated and unhappy with my service end-to-end. Even after she was done my hair was still slightly damp and my roots frizzed up immediately after the service (just as hair does when moisture is present) I paid $175 for a wash and style just to go home and rewash and style my own hair.. the stylist was a very poor reflection on the salon I reached out to her via text to share my sentiments of the experience and she didn’t even respond. She’s trash and rather than pull up to the salon I decided to do the more mature thing and leave a review.Service: Hairstyling

I went to this Salon after careful review of one of their substandard stylist. I say substandard because she was late for a VIP appointment in which I paid $200 non refundable fee and she was extremely unprofessional. My IPhones charger was stolen by her and her colleagues (ghetto/broke) and she recreated my whole hairstyle which was an absolutely disaster. LADIES PLEASE SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE. Also, please check the status of the business license and whoever is servicing you yo make sure it is current. MAJOR KEY. I paid the stylist almost $1000 for a sloppy frontal ponytail which ended up taking out all of my edges ??? and if you are a woman of color you know exactly what I mean. The hairstyle itself was a 4.4 out of 10. She switched my whole hairstyle up and me being green didn’t say anything until afterwards but long story short I’m taking it to trial. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE. They advertise as celebrity stylist but they don’t have the credentials or customer service to even be in that category. I’m speaking from experience. The ABSOLUTE WORST.Service: Hairstyling

I’ve been to the salon close to a handful of times and figured I could give a review of my experiences. My first visit I had to wait 1.5 hours as the wash assistant and stylist were both late. According to the website a KSE install with extensions is 2 hours. My appointment was for 10am and I arrived 30 mins early (9:30am) due to the salon suggesting to do so for a consultation (even though I sent pictures for the virtual consultation a month prior and did not hear back). I didn’t receive a consultation during that visit but I do have enough hair for the service. Anywho, I did not leave until 2:33pm. My maintenance appointment took just as long also. Each time I have gone I was expecting one of those really good washes, you know the ones where it feels so good, it massages away your itchy spots, and you can’t help but to slightly go to sleep? Didn’t experience that but my hair was clean. The quality of the hair is not the best as well. I got the natural curly hair and it was tangling during the install and after on a daily basis. I like how the hair is included but if you don’t like shedding and tangling keep that in mind. The hair also does not hold a curl for long. According to the FAQs for KSE they last at least 8 weeks and I will be taking mine out at the 6 week mark. I also went for maintenances biweekly. But so many tape-ins began to fall out at a recent appt and the adhesive is tacky to the touch & loosening even after a maintenance appt. Lastly, during my last maintenance appt some tape ins were not all the way secure but were taken out without any product/adhesive remover. It definitely hurt. The hair is weightless and feels better on the scalp then braids for a sew in though. I plan on removing the tape-ins myself and going to my regular stylist for hair treatments going fwd.

I got the Keratin extensions for the first time and was blown away! My hair felt so light weight and the extensions blended beautifully. On top of that, the staff as a whole was great. I would definitely recommend because you get your money’s worth. Will be back soon.Services: Hair extensions

I was very disappointed in the service that was provided to my daughter. This was my daughters first sew in and I wanted to go to a professional environment and I loved the looks I saw on IG on this establishment page. I called prior to making the appointment and asked did they do closure installs and I was told yes. When I got to the appointment, I was told that the stylist did not provide that service which means purchasing the closure was a waste of money. With that being said I asked for minimal leave out. When my daughter was done i immediately knew I didn’t like her hair, she had way too much leave out. You could see where her leave started, it looked separate from the see in. We had to come home and glue tracks in the give her the look what we wanted. I’m very disappointed I spent $275 for a basic sew in and still had to come home and try to fix it. They don’t trim your ends, no treatments just $275 gone down the drain. I have never experienced such a poor job for that price. Paying $275 for a basic sew-in is not in my budget. Also my daughter said the assistant didn’t even section off her hair while she was getting it blow dried smh.

I’ve known and done business with Ashlei since she was at Salon Ramsey and followed her from there to Ming’s salon, Buckhead and now Gregory Banks on Juniper. I don’t know where the business took a turn but I started noticing that Ashlei tries to pass clients off to Dallas and that’s not cool. Dallas can’t do hair!! she can’t cut or style but Ashlei makes money off of her and hypes her as some kind of master cosmetologist when she lacks the skill and credentials. Dallas isn’t even a licensed stylist! I got tired of fighting to get an appointment with Ashlei and just found a new stylist. The receptionist (when she actually has one) was rude, unavailable and dysfunctional. Ashlei Bank’s focus is not on offering quality service but hustling to stay in that expensive location. Renting out rooms in the salon to AirBnB. Random people watching you get your hair done. She makes all this revenue but won’t purchase a device or security system that allows her to open the door or see who’s a down stairs trying to get inside. She will leave you I outside for 30 minutes in the rain knocking and calling. She also allows her child in the salon which is very risky with Covid and she’s always rushing to do your hair bc he’s complaining about being hungry or wanting to go home. THE GHETTO! Just don’t come here.
